I caught 585 mons from rayquaza raids with 0 shinies and my first shiny was shiny rayquaza....yes i do have the shiny charm so 1% chance on each mon to be shiny 😭

I've always had doubts that other people's shiny runs were just hacked becuase they just say things like "after a long time i found this" but you actually kept track and put in the work. Good stuff man.

@@testerwulf3357 The long time isn't the point - it's the fact that people rarely show any evidence of that time, via a timer, or resets. And honestly I've seen a lot of channels that release a new 'shiny only' video nearly weekly and it makes you wonder about the odds they're using.

30 hours of shiny hunting total before Rayquaza. 124 hours of shiny hunting for Rayquaza and you ended up replacing the entire team you caught in the first 30 hours. I respect that level of spite.

Ive never gotten a shiny in my life before. Ive played the game since Gen 1 since 1998. Never have I encountered one and the odds of trying to get one are so ridiculous. But this is dedication.

I think a good challenge would be to use flying types. They are pretty mid tier but I’m currently doing one and it’s super fun. You can do sword for the super effective fighting gym but rock weakness or shield for the neutral ghost gym and the ice weakness.

Question about how the fossils work as shinies: I know it's so people can get a shiny dex, but in-lore, how would this work? Would both parts have to be shiny and, if so, could there be a half shiny? I know that this isn't really the place for the question, so if anyone knows where this question belongs, please comment it onto this.
