How I Survived a RANDOMIZED Nuzlocke of Pokemon Sword
In this video I take on a randomized nuzlocke of Pokemon Sword. Randomizing nuzlockes gives the player that extra level of difficulty that you really look for out of a pokemon challenge. Pokemon sword is especially fun when randomized and this nuzlocke was one of my favorite pokemon challenges I've done in a long time.

Great stuff Quinn. Definitely one of the best videos I’ve seen yet. But still, I wonder how much harder Pokémon Sword and Shield would be if everyone had competitively bred and EV trained Pokémon. But that’s my opinion, so you keep doing you and if you want to do this idea, then feel free to.

i imagine it's because they're very hard to catch, low catch rate and if you fail the catch during a nuzlocke you don't get another chance until the next zone. not to mention they're very strong so they can kill his current pokémon and again it's a nuzlocke so if it dies that pokémon is out. pretty sure it was for strategy, but had a side effect of being funny 😂

I actually recently found out that, since I was trying my first sword and shield nuzlocke, every Pokémon you catch needs to be hidden. I’m not accusing you of not doing this, but since you cut out the video when you were catching most of the Pokémon I just wanted to let you know if you didn’t.

Not necessarily. There's no official set of rules that dictates every encounter must be a random encounter, and as long as you get "the first encounter" if that's the first pokemon you see, fish, shake out of a tree, or get in a random encounter, it's fair game. The whole point of a challenge run is to tweak the rules to your liking, and Quinn can do whatever he wants without being "wrong"

Lmao he doesn't "have" to catch hidden encounters. It's his own rules he wants to play by. And there's literally nowhere that says you must use hidden encounters anyway, it's all personal preference.
