The appeal of the apricot balls is purely aesthetics. You've gotta catch pokemon in stylish balls if you really want to impress your opponents. What sort of uncultured barbarian just has a team captured in quick balls?
I wish they didn't make acquiring Apricot balls so tedious. What am I going to do with 1% odds for something that requires 4 of the same color? And don't get me started on the addition of Safari/Sport balls - .1%? They announced it as something big, and the result is disappointing.
The fact that the Season Pass for Sword or Shield STILL costs more than Nexomon Extinction is an embarrassment and a waste of money beyond any sort of comprehensible description.
How is it only 90$?! For me its 55 euro for the base game 30 for the dlc 20 for 1 year of nintendo online and god knows how much for pokemon home since at that point i gave up on this mess that was sword and shield
Try the online competitive play if you think the game is easy or lacks content. Would you rate Call of Duty badly because the campaign doesn't last long? This DLC has massive impacts on the competitive game.
Honestly, yeah I would. Personally I'm not a fan of competitive aspects of games, and years down the line when the servers shut down and/or all the players move on to a sequel with more content and better networking the only thing we can look back on to this game is the single-player content. That is what stands the test of time, and what I think deserves the most attention. Not to mention that I grew up on Pokemon games that didn't even have online functionality and so that's what I want from a Pokemon game. Also it is scummy af that you have to pay additional money for a DLC to be able to fully customize your pokemon competitively rather than that just being available from the beginning.
