The Pikachu looks like a Hisuian form. It was colder so Pikachu needed more fur to keep warm but as industrialization happened many of its habits were overtaken by power plants. This caused Pikachu to use the static electricity around it and in its fur more and more eventually developing the organs in its face to store electricity.
*D A I C H U* _(Dai: "great, big" and "generations, eras" based on kanji + -chū: onomatopoeia for a mouse squeaking)_ Either a Normal/Fairy or Normal/Fighting evo. Based on the Flemish Giant Rabbit and March Hare.
You know what would be neat? Making Milotic in every Contest Type. Like one way to evolve Milotic is to max out it's beauty right? Why not make one that's based on Cool, and so on and so forth. I think it'd look pretty neat
Hey Ron, I really wanna see you make your own interpretation of what the newly revealed Pokemon will evolve into. Just a possible video idea, if you wanna do it/have time to
All of these pokemon could work very well in an easter european inspired regiom, the pikachu certainly fit, the milotic has plenty polluted rivers to evolve in and we have plenty of festivals in forests and nature themed festivals in general + fairy nymphs are a big part of mythology around here. And the simi could reastically live anywhere but biker/punk culture is also big here (but isnt it everywhere)
Yes! I've always wanted an Eastern European inspired region in Pokemon. Our starting town would likely be based on Kaunas, Lithuania, and the League would be in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
I think it would be cool to see you take a pokemon with two types and swap round the primary and secondary typing while still keeping the original premise. It would be cool to see your interpretation of how a pokemon would change if the other attribute it has in the background was more central, and the more central attribute was off to the side.
For the longest time, many fans, myself included, thought Phantump and Trevenant needed something extra. Amazing Pokémon, but could use a little more to make them more beloved. And since we all ran the idea of a tree on fire into the ground, those cherry blossom variants are incredibly pretty and genius. I would love to have them on my team, mainly because I love the Trevenant line - the original and these variants.
This was your best set of changes in my opinion! I really liked how the Pikachu had a typically electric type ability even though it's now normal. That's a really cool concept.
The "making pokemon look more like they could actually exist" video was actually one of the first I saw from you--I thought it was really neat and it kept me watching more of your videos!
I love the design for Phantump and Trevenant’s designs. It would fit for a comedy series of the Reigonal Trevenant(Female) named “Petals”and a Kalosian Trevenant named “Spooky”. The series might be named “Spooky and Petals.”
I discovered this channel because of the (second) multi-artist video with Umbreon Libris. Time to binge! new milotic is actually still really cute tho lol
Milotic is literally the perfect Incineroar counter. Resists Flare Blitz and Darkest Lariat, gets an Attack boost from Intimidate with Contrary and can hit it back super effectively with Waterfall/Aqua Tail/Contrary-Boosted Superpower.
My first thought when thinking of how to get smell no evil into a punk was to do that sort of smug nose wipe thing you see in anime all the time. That way it's hand would largely be out of the way of it's face, but still vaugely communicate the idea of blocking smell.
I have a concept for a fakemon: you know when you’re looking out over a body of water and see a log or branch and mistake it for an alligator or crocodile? Well, this gator/croc pokemon would be actually made out of logs, waiting patiently for prey to pass it by with a false sense of security. It would probably have a dual type of grass and either water or dragon. I think grass/water would be cool because its a typing that only the ludicolo line has, and I think grass/dragon would be cool because it would make the pokemon not be water type just because it’s aquatic..
That’s such a cute idea! I love seeing grass/water (I adore the Lotad line but I think we deserve more grass/water types) type Pokémon concepts, and this one is really good.
Loving the lore and designs of Phantump and Trevenant! I especially enjoyed taking two different forest entities and linking them through an evolution. A satyr Phantump is so adorable and making Trevenant that comes out so ever so rarely really adds to its sense of majesty!
I really like the Milotic concept. It’s design kinda reminds me of the siren legend as well. Since it looks so similar to the regular Milotic they can be mistaken for the other.
The Phantump line is my favorite. I'm really hoping that you have another fan region coming soon! The Asone Region is some of my all time favorite RU-vid content.
You should make a blob fish Pokémon. It’s pre-evolution could look like a normal fish(what they look like in normal water) and it could evolve into the blob fish we all know and love.
Here's an idea The initial fish is a bottom dweller being a rock/water type Over the years of torment and abuse from the humans it developed a tendency to bash into things Professors have theorised that it's gaining freedom from something thus explaining it's hostile and gloomy demeanour One day it bashed into a landmine which were frequent blowing away it's shell and organs , lifeless they float on the surface , the lifeless bodies are possessed by spirits that desire vengeance in night
I have a different idea for the Phantump line you made So original Phantump are children that got lost in the woods and never got out again right? Maybe this fairy Phantump could be returning spirits of happy children that died from an illness before their time. A second chance at life as happy nature spirits, or Fairies :D
I had a regional variant idea for the monkeys by just adding another type with new designs. Pansage -> Grass/fighting living in arid mountains and using its boxing glove-like fists. Its leafy head has a hairband made out of the dried roots of mountain trees. Its green…fur(?) is now a greenish brown to match the foliage around them and their skin is now tan. Their seeds are now orange to match the berries that grow in their new environment. It has a determined look on its face. Simisage- Upon evolution its hands are now larger it’s eyebrows collar are orange, and its tail has orange berries growing on it. The hair is now a mohawk with a variety of twigs and orange berries stored within it. The vine hairband has more added to become a set of armlets and anklets. In the wild both Pansage and Simisage will disguise themselves are bushes with berries in order to hide from other or to trap unsuspecting trainers. They have a fighting spirit but prefer to fight trainer Pokémon rather than wild. They spar with each other and will ruthlessly defend their territory. Panpour- Water/Dark its fur turns a dark purple with grey skin and a mischievous smirk. The hair and tail are now spiked instead of rounded with dark blue tips. It also wears riveted black bracelets. Simipour- The hair is slicked back in a black hairband, while 1 parts remains halfway over the right eye. The collar is black and spiked, grown to resemble a sleeveless jacket. The body fur has a dark blue gradient from the purple. And its tail has a silver chain wrapped around it. Panpour and Simipour live in the alleyways and sewers of the cities. They are troublemakers that often steal from people and Pokémon alike. They will also get into turf wars with Honchkrow and Murkrow. Pansear- Fire/Fairy- The red fur in now lighter with a white body. The flame hair is adorned with red flowers wearing gold ringlets. Its face is smiling calmly. Simisear- the hair is now bigger with with a giant red flower in the middle of the flame. The ringlets now float around the arms and tail. The collar is now yellow and resembles fairy wings. Pansear and Simisear live in hidden glades. Living peacefully with other Pokémon and developing their fairy powers. Once evolving they have full control and will use their abilities to meditate and commune with nature. They will only fight if someone threatens the glade or its residents.
I love these designs you came up with for the swaps! Very cute and official-like~! I find it funny that the Normal Type Pikachu you made is EVEN MORE similar to its original inspiration than regular Pikachu. It was revealed that artist, Atsuko Nishida, designed Pikachu after a squirrel instead of a mouse but Pichu happened so now Pikachu is forced to be a mouse due to the design being slightly open-ended enough to pose as one.
Y'know it's hilarious, just a few days ago when I was collecting shiny sprites for a project I had come across the Pan/Simi Line and read about their Three Wise Monkey and delinquent inspirations, and literally the first thing that came to my mind was "If I were to make a 4th member, it'd be an Electric-type Rock Punk whose theme is Do No Evil", I kid you not lol.
I’m so conflicted 😂 I love these videos cause the designs are AMAZING…..but I get so disappointed cause I can’t have one in the game😂 I want an ugly Milotic in my party now and I can’t have one
Can you do Cacturne, I think he’s getting a regional variant in the game. I am confident as he will be in the game since there are cactuses in Spain and they already showed a desert in the trailer. So why wouldn’t he be in the trailer. Maybe because he is a regional variant and they don’t want to reveal him yet.
That Phantump is AMAZING! Since the Pumpkaboo line are "rivals" to the Phantump line, I would love to see your take on a different type for those as well! Instead of a pumpkin I could imagine it looking like a melon!
I'd like to think that the Milotic is an Unovan Milotic that lives in the harsh, dirty waters of Virbank and Castelia City and is the common predator of Basculin. It will often wait for two feuding groups to get into a scuffle then devour the victors. It could also be the reason Basculegion doesn't exist anymore.
I'd like to see Regional Forms of Golett and Golurk, as they're Steel Type while keeping their Ghost typing. You can make them based off giant robots, but the robot has a ghost inside it, controlling it.
I watched this for the Milotic and was not disappointed *Grabby hands* I want one That Milotic deserves love and I. WILL. GIVE. IT. MINE. Fluffy Pikachu is adorable AND a bitey gremlin. *Necessity* OuO Non of Trevanant's dex entries say anything about trapping children specifically, it simply says "It can control trees at will. It will trap people who harm the forest, so they can never leave" meaning it doesn't *target* children just anyone who harms it's forest. Simisurge is so adorable 😭💕 I want one. Making regional variants tends to be *so* fun and seeing other people make them is always exciting. It's fun to see everyone's different thought process for similar ideas x☺️
Trevenant and Phanthump's shiny are so scary and it also looks like a ghost/grass type just like the Phanthump and Trevenant we know but the expressions are just happy
Enamorus was introduced long after Tornadus, Thudurus, & Landorus. And since those 3 were introduced in the same generation of Pansage/Simisage, Pansear/Simisear, & Panpour/Simipour, I could easily see Pansurge/Simisurge being a real Pokemon in the future. The only difference is that I could see it's names being Panvolt/Simivolt instead due to the naming aspects of 'sage', 'sear', 'pour', & 'volt' all being four letter words to end their names.
Since you’ve done a savage Milotic, do you think you could do a calmer Gyarados as a regional variant? Like a Gyarados that no longer seeks to rampage for forty days, but rather seeks to maintain the balance in its environment. Maybe it could be part Dragon or Psychic type to symbolize the mysticism of this regional form
I would have that normal type Pikachu also have electric as its secondary and it would function similarly to a Mareep. Its fur being able to store electricity more easily and using that stored electricity as protection. Like if another Pokémon was trying to attack the Pikachu would get a static shock from touching it, giving the Pikachu time to get away.
