11:26 I'm pretty sure brine does double damage if the opponent has 50% or less health, not the attacking pokemon, so mawile was getting normal brine power
It has no options at all. It’s attacking stats are both jokes (52 physical & 47 special), its speed is garbage (30), and its health is pathetic (60). Its good stats are its defenses (168 def & 138 spdef). It’s clearly meant to be a tank with those defenses, but it’s bad health and multiple 4x weaknesses (to Ground and Fighting, some of the best and most common attacking types) mean it can’t even do that. Its weakness to Water (the most common type in the games) certainly doesn’t help either. Plus that speed means that the other team will almost always attack first, and even if it survives it can barely hit back. It’s essentially meant to only be a tank, but it can’t tank. Edit: I just checked, and it doesn’t even get Body Press. I don’t know if it’s not in Gen 8 or just doesn’t get the move, but it has exactly *two* decent offensive moves in Counter (which is an egg move) and Metal Burst.
@@skturbo107 yeah true its literally only good with metal burst and sturdy which sturdy only works properly from gen 5 onwards so in gen 4 its completely useless.
@@mrexcadrill8474 its toxapex without toxic spikes, 100% accurate toxic, scald, regenerator, recover, banefull bunker, knock off and with a worse typing
Your Banette learning Giratina's signature move got me curious so I looked it up. Apparently Giratina's signature move is actually called "Shadow Force" not "Phantom Force" It's virtually the same move but "Shadow Force" has higher BP. Not that it's super important but I found it interesting!
26:11 I just love how olivia and pheromosa are just staring at each other like "oh,oh,youre aproaching me?! Ill show you the Power of a real looking fitness girl bish"🤣
It doesn't have the highest BST though... In gen 7, the Mega Mewtwos and Mega Rayquaza had that title and in gen 8, it's Eternamax Eternatus. Ultra-Necrozma isn't even in the top 5 in either generation.
I haven’t seen this addressed but the Bannette at 22:21 is using Phantom Force, which is a nerfed version of Shadow Force at like 60 or 70 base power, but it’s given to a LOT more Pokémon.
Great video Feels like everyone did a little so no one MVP but will give it to Skarmory Respect the hardeork of replaying the lenghty USUM and condensing into these videos
Ultra necrozma was the pokemon with the highest stat total until sword and shield with eternatus grabby hand form which is just ridiculous . like 1125 stat total which is nuts.
35:01 I was so confused with that death because didn’t bisharp have brick break, because it used that against the other bisharp prior and incrineroar is weak to fighting so it could have killed at that health.
This is possibly my favorite pokemon gane. Alola is my favorite region and the steel types here are really great, like Skarmoury, Magnezone, Bastiadon, Metagross, Ageslash and my personal favourite in both Steel Types and Alolan forms ( and just in general one of my top 10 all time pokemo ), Alolan Sandslash. Now you have things like Empoleon and Kelfkey ( least favourite Steel Type ) and especially Alolan Dugtrio ( my least favourite Ground Type and one of bottom 5 pokemon ), but they're mediocrity ( in my opinion ) doesn't outweigh the Great Steel types in this region
Doing my research on what Steels are accessible without trades for a monotype run i’m doing of the same game! Pro-Tip: In the trainer school, there is a woman who will give you Quick Claw.
Don't worry too much losing Pokemons against the veteran gatekeeper to the Kommo-o trial, at least you didn't LOSE A NUZLOCKE LIKE I DID :D! Screw that guy, but tbh, I was a bit of a bonehead of not having my ace team members at the moment, I was training some benched 'mons. The Gengar was the last laughing face before I wiped out :( Oh, and the challenge I had going on? Moon Hardlocke with level caps of Totems AND Kahunas. I'm gonna restart the challenge at some point, yea, but I'll see when that happens. Congrats for winning your challenge!
When you white out, are restarting your game or your battle? I only ask because it's labeled a hard-core nuzlock. Regardless, play how you want, but personally if you aren't restarting from the beginning on a white out, its not hard-core. Still a great video and I'm glad you sound like you're enjoying it!
I want to see if its possible: Video Idea: Pokémon Moon Hardcore Nuzlocke only Bug types. I had to do a regular nuzlocke, after 5 tries, because for a while you only get Ledyba, Spinarak, or maybe Butterfree, but all of them really struggle the early game. I'm on Akala Island with Ledian, Charjabug, Butterfree and Cutiefly
Things to look forward to: -The rival Ledyba/Spinarak or Butterfree against Pichu and the starter -Trainer school: Grimer, Bonsly doesnt have any rock type moves/The teacher with Magnemite and Alolan Meowth, i went to level 15 on Ledyba for Mach Punch
-There's a trainer with Gastly and Misdreavus, it depends, with Ledyba you have to pp stall it, but Butterfree can use confusion, i guess. -Rival 2 fight -Akala Island: The Kalos people, the girl has a Delibird and Glaceon. Glaceon is really scary. -Rival 3 -A trainer with Carbink, but you get Grubbin before it, so, it's just a grind, until you're level 20 to take the hits better
i feel like the coolest types are steel, ground and dragon, cant say im surprised on dragon i mean they are mythical creatures of insane power after all
The quality content keeps coming! Outrageous grind in the beginning, and some tough losses throughout (can't imagine how tilting it was to lose Aegislash right after getting access to King's Shield), but great stuff making it through regardless. As always, eagerly waiting for the next one! ...who's the read head at 11:17 👀
I think you might be misunderstanding how Aegislash works. King's Shield doesn't put it in Shield Form, status moves do. You could have just used protect instead of switching out every time.
@@Quinnjamin Oh yeah, you're right. I thought it'd work for just, any status moves, but no, it only enters Shield Form when using King's Shield, according to the wiki. That's...kind of dumb actually, but considering how broken Aegislash is, I suppose it makes sense.
