Toxicroak was the only pokemon left that could hit shedinja with its wonder gaurd ability which prevents any move that is not super effective from damaging it. That was the moment the battle was over and they knew it
Salamence was knocked out too easy, his opponent was already prepared for that. However, I do think his Snorlax should've had Fire Punch on it, unfortunately, that was not the case here.
there were outs, the salamence had heatwave but was caught on switch in by hidden power ice, & the toxicroak had both sucker punch & I suppose night slash, went for night slash + surf instead of sucker punch + surf & got caught out by the prediction & shadow sneak
@@Marcusjnmc toxicroak had taunt and sucker punch. That means the crit on it was a total game winning move, otherwise it would have gone for taunt and then gotten a guaranteed sucker punch off and defeated shedinja.
My question is how the Platinum Lucas designs are here instead of the D/P designs; I haven’t found anything on the internet explaining why, and I know it’s pretty trivial, but how come the Platinum design of Lucas shows up here?
@NinjaAlchemist23 how do u get zapdos to get heat wave? and got it so what type of battle do u do i do rotation or triple. rotation for predictions and surprises and triple for wide variety of stratgies :D
he's saying because Sucker Punch is priortity too, and if I'm not mistaken it goes first because Toxicroak I believe is faster than Shed. (But yeah that crit was fucking bs)
@WeDogsHowl I have done various adjustments and am still experimenting, I have pondered if I should replace Suicune with Vaporeon for instance and if I don't, if I should play around with it's moveset more... I made this team a long time ago and still have every Pokemon on it and have "rebuilt" a few members including the Zapdos, who now holds the nickname Dos Equis. I have all of them built but they are on my Black version now and I used them online and they still worked surprisingly...
@WeDogsHowl Actually Ferrothron has a pretty decent base 95 Attack stat. I would say no to explosion completely. I plan to give my Ferrothorn Power Whip, Stealth Rock, Leech Seed and Thunder Wave. Explosion had base 250 power by the way, but I really don't like Explosion this gen... It doesn't guarantee kills like it did in fourth gen and you really want to keep Ferrothorn around, and Explosion won't do it... If you are wondering how to get Stealth Rock AND Leech Seed, Torterra gets both.
@WeDogsHowl I would try to get either a Jolly/ Timid Smeargle or not use one all together because Smeargle's offenses, even after a Swords Dance are mediocre sadly. Baton Passing is the best thing Smeargle can do alright... I think a better Normal Pokemon would be Ambipom, Stoutland (With Sand Rush) or Cinccino... They can get good movesets, are faster and have a little more power. Pokemon I'd replace would be either Gardevoir, Weavile or Shuckle.
@WeDogsHowl I'd go Power Whip instead of Explosion, Explosion is nowhere near as good as it used to be since it can't half defense anymore and you actually want to keep your Ferrothorn in play.
@WeDogsHowl Platinum, Heart Gold and Soul Silver's move tutors can teach Zapdos Heat Wave. I do mostly doubles and singles. I haven't played around much in triples or rotations yet. I am currently thinking about those and coming up with strategies. Like Excadrill in the middle, Hydreigon on one side and Zapdos or Thunderus on the other... Stuff like that. I love balance and the ability to change strategy quick. My strategies involve adaptability to any situation.
@NinjaAlchemist23 you do mean ferrothorn right cause ferrothorn has better defens and special def are u more of the att based ,def based for ur main team? mines kinda messed up its like 2def 3att and 1speed pkmn
@WeDogsHowl Suicune, Zapdos and Snorlax rounds out the rest of my team. I'm not really sure, it will depend on the moveset of Smeargle. As for Machamp, I'd take out either Weavile or Haxorus. I suggest them because it'll round out your types a little more. Conkledurr or Mienshao are also really good fighting types too if that's what you're looking for. I like teams with a lot of types so I try not to repeat a type, unless it's a monotype team...
@WeDogsHowl Suicune isn't an Uber. And I caught my Reshiram and it's still in the box. Suicune is also my favorite Pokemon. I don't use Ubers, except Garchomp cause I don't think Garchomp should be an uber. Zapdos isn't uber either. I have plans to make all the teams stated except a baby team, not my thing. Also thinkin' about replacing my Forretress with Ferroseed...

@WeDogsHowl Just try not to make the strategy over complicated and you should be fine, my old doubles strategy was using my Forrestress and Zapdos out together. Forretress set up some entry hazards with Stealth Rocks and Spikes and Zapdos would just hang out and Roost or Heat Wave. When Forretress was done I would blow it up, and have my Zapdos use Protect. This worked because I have faced more people who would try to get rid of my Zapdos than my Forretress. Plan B, was muscle.
@NinjaAlchemist23 aren't ferrothorn almost like shuckle they have small att ? but i guess cause of stab + 120att which is 180 att it is stronger than 150att of explosion so i should have power whip/ stealth rock/ explosion/and ingrain or something?
@WeDogsHowl Yes, I meant Ferrothorn. Since Ferrothorn is better all round than Forretress and it would still flow with my team well. Actually my team is more defensive than offensive with only 2 Pokes that capitalize in speed and power, Gengar and Garchomp. This team was made for doubles though really, so I haven't really used them in singles much. But they fair alright there too.

There probably wasn't any need for Shedinja to use Protect when Zapdos tried using Discharge and Empoleon tried to hit Zapdos with Icy Wind. It's all thanks to Wonder Guard, or does Toxicroak have a trick up it's sleeve.
I saw these live... I was mad because I wanted to enter in the first tournements that were around the states, the preliminaries... and they wouldn't let me enter because I didn't win the "raffle"... I was SOOO mad... Because I had a chance to be up there... I had a team that never lost a single battle up until now...

@NinjaAlchemist23 im thinking ur right so im taking out shukle and smeargle for a ambipom and a mienshao so i have ambipom weavile gardevoir mienshao hydriegon and im thinking of switching bronzong with a ferrothorn with rock helmet as an equip so when someone att it its gona be iron barbs+rock helmet giving about 1/5 of damage for every contact but thats only for contact pokemon if they re based on sp att my ferrrothorn sucks O.o but its a good stealth rock and explosion combo :D
@NinjaAlchemist23 smeargle's moveset is sword dance/ ice/ lighting/fire punch not really a strong move set lol and its an adamant nature so i had no choice but to make it a offense type and i cant get conkelldurr if i wanted to because it involves trade and i need another black or white for that xD i might go with mienshao cause of regenerator and im taking out haxorus cause he should go on my trick room team cause he is so freaken slow! i mean in wifi battle slowpoke was faster i was like WTF!

I have plans to actually start posting battles (I keep saying that but in truth I have LOTS of animation work to get done in college so my time is getting sucked into that...). @NinjaAlchemist23 yea i mean pokemon black and white battle not diamond/pearl/ or pbr cause i transfered all of mine also xD and your team would be better with a vaporean instead of an suicune cause it makes u look more pro if u dont use and uber i dont rely on ubers much i caught my zekrom and its still lvl 51 O.o try making different types of team like hail team, sandstorm team, sun team, trick room team, and maybe even a baby team but always keep a priority team for serious battle no ubers xD

@NinjaAlchemist23 oh god thanks and ur right i used my ferrothorn in battle this afternoon and it failed miserably i survived cause my weavile saved the day with its fast speed and luckily a crit XD

Always always ALWAYS wipe out bug pkmn first! D : they maybe weak but if you dont take care of them, they will be a pain in the ass... especially that shedinja
i hate shedinja, i hate him so much happens to me a lot where i'll almost have swept my opponent with my last pokemon then he throws out shedinja which walls me completley
