To anyone who missed evolving skies, it just released in simplified chinese. The sets better, it includes espeon vmax and the umbreon and sylveon v and vmax trainer gallerys as actual pulls. Its printed in japan, so it has japanese texture, but has the blue back like english. If anyone wants to open some evolving skies for cheap, or will want to in the future, its a great option. And the cards still have good value too, so its not a complete waste. I bought 1 box, just to have some packs to rip without paying a ton of money.

I've watched about 6 of your videos this week and just now saw i wasn't subscribed. Happy to have subbed today. I've been steadily buying and collecting since 1999 and i love hearing videos that treat Pokémon like the investment vehicle that it is. I tell everyone i know to buy a booster box for every set and put it in a closet for a few years. Most don't listen LOL. My best pick up was probably 2 cases of Evolutions for 89 a box lol. That and Plat Arceus for $95 a box.

From a longer term investment standpoint, would you buy 2 ES ETBs, 4 LO/FS PC ETBs, or 4 boosters of Japanese 151?

Thanks for the answer on last weeks video! I have already started to try to slowly work on the LP/MP master set, but I' going for Shadowless Base set (non First Ed) Because its the first set i collected as a kid. Its the only part of collecting that i'm not super concerned about turning a profit in 5+ years. With that being said I was looking through the POP of some Base Set PSA cards and i noticed some cards have a shocking LOW pop across the bored but still are in an affordable rage to pick up. (Example is Alakazam-Holo Base Set 1999-2000 has 111 TOTAL POP 50 of thos 111 being 8 or higher, but that card in a 8 is 60$ currently and a 9 is only 120$.) Do you feel things like this would be a good long term investment because of how old the cards are? I could be wrong but I don't think the value of the cards will decline with that little population and also being an old card (on top of a pretty well liked mon) (My main concern is that they are low pop for a reason, and not graded often because people dont care too) Thanks!!

As for the new Greninja ex card.....I'm also not the biggest fan of the crowns and that style of Pokemon but dang does that art go hard! That cards looks amazing in person, just sent one in for grading, has to be one of my favorite modern arts.

I recently started watching your videos, and i want to say I love the content! I have pulled a lot of the top chases from S&V,( all 9s and above) should I get them graded ? 20+ cards

What are your thoughts about trying to cross grade or even regrading cards. Been looking at a few card like out of the Eeveeloution Vmax boxes. It’s just hard to tell corner wise. But some CGC 9.5s are significantly cheaper than PSA 10s and I wouldn’t mind cracking them and trying if they look decent. Thanks for all you do.

For selling high end modern cards is it better to sell a card as a psa 9 or to crack it and sell raw? I have a rayquaza vmax alt psa 9 with not perfect centering that I’m considering selling. Would love to see the comparison data

Beard, I purchased a shiny zard gx Japanese psa 8 in 2019 for $90, I see now that 8s aren’t sought after. The card is super clean and I don’t understand how it got an 8. Should I crack and regrade or just crack and save it as a single?

You can answer this now, but I was just curious what you do with your trainer cards even if they are full arts or SIRs? Do you sell them or? Just wondering cuz I’m kind of in the same boat with focus collecting illustrations and not being the biggest fan of the trainers. I have a gold buddy buddy poffin from the newest set for example (along with quite a few other trainers from various sets) and was debating on selling them. The poffin could potentially get a 10 if graded as well, it’s great!

I had pokemon cards as a kid that I don't have any more but got back into the hobby three years ago as a Raw and Sealed Collector. I share the same views as you with pokemon so I always love your content tremendously. I don't do graded cards because I have OCD which I would want all 10s. I have not graded any cards before but I am not intimidated to get them graded. I don't sell my collection and would only grade cards if I plan to sell which I think you have said before. I am going to the New Jersey Collect-A-Con in late July. So if I pulled doubles of cards like the SIR Blastoise 200/165, Full Art Zapdos 192/165, and SIR Alakazam 201/165 from Scarlet and Violet 151, should I trade them in now towards a card I want for my collection or get them graded and sell the higher graded card for more cards I want in my collection and crack open the lesser graded card to keep in my collection? Or do I still grade them and keep the higher graded ones for an investment in the future to get even more of a return on my cards as always I am a fan first, collector second, and investor last. The Charizard ex from obsidian flames is hard to grade and has a low gem rate. I don’t know what the current numbers are but last time I checked I saw there was a crazy difference between psa 9 and 10s.

Another great video man, cheers. Special Illustration Rares for Shrouded Fable are too simplistic and I don't like the angle or the backgrounds - the Cassiopeia with the Sylveon in the background is sweet but yeah the set isn't doing much for me. Did you always just collect what you loved or have you completed some master sets? I'm 7 cards off a 151 Master set with all international promos and it's been a struggle but I love looking at it and want to pass it on to my daughter when she's older. EDIT: I just saw the question about which set you would collect and I wanted to share my excitement - and terror - that Paldea Evolved Master set with all variants is a whopping 547 cards (and that's WITHOUT the promos!!)
