Team Plasma Ghetsis is about to send in Hydreigon. Will you switch your Pokémon? Team Plasma Ghetsis sent out Hydreigon! *No! There’s no running from a Trainer battle!*
I dunno I flinched a little bit when I saw Hydreigon and I only had Zekrom left. I took that thing down with a paralysis inducing Dragon Breath and he didn’t heal.
Hydreigon: I am unbeatable! I have torn through any mere 10 year old child’s team! Arceus: Yup, uh, we’re gonna have to do something about that FAIRY TYPE SHOWS UP NEXT GEN
Same. I was surprised to learn that people had a hard time beating Ghetsis' hydreigon. I still don't quite understand why though. Is it because of high defense or some sort of move he spams?
I’m mostly the first trainer, but his Hydreigon nearly beat me, it took down nearly all of my Pokémon, so my team was on revive life support, so I didn’t struggle, I just kinda had some trouble
CMF not when you’re a kid it isn’t. Black and white we’re our first games and we knew nothing about type advantages or what Pokémon a certain trainer had.
@@datcatsavedme7071 lmao i didnt either, when i beat the game for the first time i just used samurott the entire game and when it came to the bosses(N/Ghetsis/E4/Champion/Cynthia) i just spammed hyper potions/revives. With the amount of trainers you fight i got an overleveled samurott and plenty of money for items, the game is alot easier than people think
I remember the first time I fought Ghetsis, I used 1 different Pokemon for every different Pokemon and had won all battles. Last poke left , sent my Haxorus 5 lvls lower to deal with hydreigon. From there, hydreigon reverse swept the whole team. Took me like 8 tries to defeat him, he was a tough bastard.
Hang on, how is Fire Blast not running out? It only has 5 PP. Then again, Zweilous doesn't evolve until like, level 60, or something, so it's most likely a case of a Trope called "The Computer is a Cheating Bastard"
Not to long ago I replayed pokemon white just for old times sake Almost completed the pokedex, had a damn good team too. Perfect natures ev trained up and everything. Im a pretty competitive trainer so I knew what I was doing. But never. Never have I faced a boss so hard. This game is challenging to me almost 10 years later. I love Black and White so much
I only realised a while ago that black and white were the first pokemon games to use the special final villain battle background, with Ghetsis' being a tornado of dust and a circling floor. This gave birth to the auras in the gen 6 games, with the fire tornado for team flare, the apocalypse for team magma, and the whirlpool for team aqua.
This battle was beat in the first attempt for me, it was really easy. If anyone is curious: Zwellious - 50 Krookodile - 48 Seismitoad - 46 Emboar - 48 Reshiram - 51 Unfezant - 48 I remember the fight against the Psychic elite 4 member Caitlyn being so much harder. N took a few tries.
I am so in love with this game's story and how cool N and how terrying Ghetsis is to the point that up til' now, I am collecting Gen 5 Tomy Figures and Hydreigon is my fave mon 🤩
First pokemon game I had..been a big fan ever since til this day I own sword n still play competitively man the game changed so much but this game right here is awesome from the story to the music I almost want pokemon to be this way again 2D and all..such an awesome game
Ghetsis was harder to beat than N, despite not having a legendary on his team. Cofagrigus has high defense and takes multiple hits to take down and its early evolved Hydreigon
You guys remember the hydreigon so much but NEVER remember the godamn garchomp from cynthia! That took me weeks to beat her...her garchomp always took on my entire team. Back then, i didnt knew that the weakness of it was 4 times Ice...so yeah, lol.
I only got to play through gen 4 recently, I just trained up a Mamoswine to like high 50s-early 60s, it had Ice shard so thats a 4.5x attack with priority rendering her chomp useless. I suppose knowing about her Garchomp from hearing about it so much gave me the advantage lol.
I really don't see what was the big struggle againsf Ghetsis I personally did incredibly well against him, in fact N was closer to beating me while Ghetsis wasn't even close.
Apparently, there's a theory that Ghetsis actually abused his pokemon and forced them to evolve... somehow. His Hydreigon uses frustration, which grows more powerful the less the pokemon likes it's owner, and the theory states that Ghetsis treated his deino/ zweilous so horrifically, it forced itself to evolve so it could stand up to Ghetsis, hence why he wears an eyepatch. It's a cool idea, and very fitting considering his personality.
I dont know for what reason I didn't struggle with this fight, I was underlevelled and shit I sent out my scrafty and it survived a focus blast from hydregon and one shotted it with one hi jump kick, but amazing game and fight
Emboar is my main starter mainly cause I always choose the fire starter when I play Pokemon games but for 5th gen/this game I actually like Serperior lol.
I recently revisited Pokemon White and Ghetsis' Hydreigon was actually easy. I used my Cryogonal and survived a Fire Blast on 3 hp and set up a Light Screen and healed next turn. Survived the next Fire Blast easier and discovered I was faster, hit it with an Ice Beam and got a crit, one shotting it. I love Cryogonal now
Lol I beat his hydreigon really scummy. I sent out Klinklang first and since Cofagrigus can't really threaten it with anything I slapped charge and shift gear 6 times each. Then proceeded to make short work of the rest of his team - even his hydreigon's focus blast was a 3 hit KO at that point
Yes, but Teravolt ignores the targeted Pokemon's ability. Same with Reshiram's Turboblaze and Mold Breaker, which strong Pokemon like Haxorus or Excadrill can get.
