@@willcc19-18 yeah but this one feels so much more... Personal. Ghetsis is literally trying to kill you above anyone else for disrupting his plans giving off a sense of dread which is why black/white 2 is amaze
I love how EVERYONE (including bad guys) follow the unspoken rule of pokemon battling that if you lose, you have to give the victor your entire life savings XD
For ghetsis, we only break his pride and, because he is a megalomaniac who believes that the world revolves around him, he cannot process or accept how two simple brats manage to beat him. Also in BW, at the beginning of the game, when you defeat 2 Team Plasma recruits, they continue to abuse the Munna they were hitting before the fight, only thanks to the fact that a third intervened is that they left. So no, not everyone follows the "You defeated me so we can't do anything against you" rule as you say. Also, in the US / UM postgame, Ghetsis threatens the player by taking Lillie hostage right after we defeated him in battle. Oh and please remember that this is an RPG so do not try to make sense of things like these, is simply stupid xD
As I once pointed out to someone: Ghetsis has a Hydreigon at level 52 (Hydreigon doesn't evolve until Level 64) his Mon also has max Power Frustration, a move that deals more damage the less friendly a pokemon is towards you. Previous Evil team leaders had some semblance of "Humanity" in them, Giovanni's team is resembling that of a Traditional Gym Leader (because he is one) Cyrus may have been Nihilistic, but he still had a Crobat which requires max happiness to evolve. But Ghetsis has a pokemon he likely tortured into evolving early that is so angry and damaged that it has max damage Frustration... He's a monster and I hate him, that is why I love Gen5
@@coldzoroark6440 I doubt that, he isn't the type to manipulate people, he will just convince others into following him (unlike Gethsis, who literally manipulated everyone into his lies just so that he could rule the entire world by himself)
The shock from losing in the first time clearly messed up with his mind. For his character, is really cool he went insane like that, and that theme helps ALOT tho
Also, who tf uses Mud-slap on Krookodile, while there is Bulldoze (for early and middle part of the game) or even better, Earthquake? Also its Physical Attack is FAR superior than Sp. Atk.
The cutscenes in this game were pretty freaking great considering the technology available. If Pokemon had a higher budget, I’ll bet Black and White could’ve ended up looking like X and Y did.
@@mahdude2387 he didn’t say it was better, however 3D animation is objectively more impressive and looks good as a feature even if it doesn’t look good
I think it's cool how Ghetsis rams his staff into the ground 11:29 ... the way he gasps lightly, it must have been really hard - it completely reflects his incredible anger and insanity (and according to his pixel-appropriate size of 6'7" he has a really menacing stature)
I'd like to see crazed Ghetis make a comeback I know the triad said he was out of order but still. Ultra moon and sun gave him a return but as the original black and white version. Just imagine the post bw2 version coming back into the spotlight, one can hope for the remake where we might even see full Kyurem as well.
FINALLY!! AN EVIL PERSON ACTUALLY TRIES TO KILL A CHILD!! I swear the problem with all of these evil leaders is that the only way they want to beat you is through a kitty Pokémon battle, where THEY PLAY BY THE RULES. They’re supposed to be evil for crying out loud, they shouldn’t have to play by the rules, hell they shouldn’t try to challenge you to a battle, they should actually try to get rid of the player, by, idk, killing them, like any evil person would do?? It’s so stupid and doesn’t make them threatening, just more of a pushover. That’s what I love about Gheteis. he’s tries to kill the player first. He’s the most evil out of any of these “evil” leaders.
Because all them have moral and don't want to do such an horrible thing directly. The only one that could be as Gechis on that point is Cyrus and it's not even near
Well, to be fair in a world where everyone keeps powerful bodyguard monsters in tiny balls you would want to neutralize them before attempting to directy hurt the owner.
@@adrianoscalise7847 Lol, when in usum, Gechis said that he was going to kill Lilia, I thought: WTF I have a gigant dragon made of light more powerful than God behind me and you are acting like nothing xd.
lusamine kind of tried that in SM actually though. also not killing doesn't make people not evil. technically lysandre was gonna kill a LOT more people then ghetsis. plus we know team rocket has already killed before.
The moment when Nate/Rosa meets Ghetsis and he tries to murder them, I really think Hilbert/Hilda was the person who save us. That could be the MOST EPIC MOMENT in all Pokémon saga
11:28 I can just imagine Ghetsis saying to himself/outloud: "Damn it all! Is EVERYONE around here useless?! I should have known from the start I'd have to rely on my own strength! And I'll start, by destroying YOU FIRST BOY!!!"
Even after all these years I still feel that we deserve to get a true form of Kyurem. In the legends it states that originally both Zekrom and Reshiram were part of Kyurem and that they broke off and became independent pokemon. I'm still waiting and I'll continue to wait
@@rezendeiiz.knight1084 I think it would rather be 4 types - Dragon/Ice/Fire/Electric, to account for all the parts. Worthy of a legendary, but also the reason why it does not exist
Ilian Langedijk would’ve been cool if N came in, and there was like a button sequence you had to do to survive. Otherwise you “faint” and have to come back. Probably too dark for Pokémon though.
@@willcc19-18 more relevant then yours your comments don't matter you just sound like another jealous hater and very much Insecure in your abilities as a trainer over a video game how sad is you
Am I the only one who feels as if Ghetsis might've had some sort of more... Tragic, backstory, from how he acts? I do believe there were a few hints to it, but I don't quite know. Probaly just a crazy conspiscary theory on my end.
I can't quite remember where I first read it, but I'm pretty sure he's missing an arm and possibly blind in one eye from how he treated his Hydreigon. It's also the reason he uses a cane
Implying that ghetsis is so malicious that your pokemon, in their pokeballs, are trembling with pure rage and cant wait to get their hands on him has always been so fucking cool
remember the time Ghetsis wanted to actually massacrate you with icicles? i always liked ghetsis the most of all villains (besides Cyrus at #2 and lysandre at #1) Ghetsis might be the only villain that does some things... ...that Ninten*DON'T*
I loved White 2. I replayed it recently, and it amazed me how well this game was made, the spriting, the music, the environments, but most of all the characters. Seeing Ghetsis in a situation like this, nothing to lose and bent on revenge, it makes me wonder what the game could've been like if it had been a little more serious. I don't mean full on Lisa the Painful, but if the stakes were just a little higher.
Ghetsis was basically Cyrus except he didn’t play by the rules and had a more narcissistic mindset. I liked that about the Black and White series A LOT.
1:20 This is so poetic, like N used to hate humans but after going on an emotional journey... he accepts them even if they are evil. Hence why evil as Ghetsis was, he did take him in and provide him food and clothing.
Also like how in BW2 you can get infinite master balls legitimately. You get one from Juniper, one more from Juniper's dad (i think), and you can do the raffles in Join Avenue and try to win them.
@@The_NatalistI save them for 1. Some Roaming legendaries or 2. Shiny Legendaries when they start using Struggle. Anything else, I use other Pokeballs.
@Spielen_Videos true, but no 10 year old does that. My first game was sapphire, and i never found the master ball in my first run. I have awesome memories of struggling to catch Kyogre, it was great. Later games i used the masterball until i realized that was stupid.
@@SpookyMarine Lmao pkmn has been doing rlly dogshit recently I wished they started putting more effort into the game even if we gotta waif a extra year for a good pokemon game it's worth it
just imagine how much harder Ghetsis would be if his Toxi had dry skin, out if his Seismi had Water Absorb. and if they gave him another pokémon instead of Eelektross
I just finished B/W, and while I don't think I'll play B2/W2 just because I'll never find a copy that's not counterfeit, I do highly respect Ghetsis. He is the definition of an intimidating team leader. He doesn't try to kill you in B/W, but that's because he hasn't gone insane yet. Nevertheless, he's still on my top list of hardest battles, he literally toxic stalls you with cofagrigus. He's intimidating, incredibly hard to beat, and a terrorist. I love gen 5.
In b/w he only fights you because he wants to beat you and kill you so no one would ever know n lost. He's also a lot more insane in the manga, where he tortures people and crucifies the gym leaders, even trapping the protag of b/w in the light stone to slowly die and he only gets saved due to the bw2 protag waking reshiram.
I dont know, but it makes me familiar to see your comment because I see your comment in many places and videos Also pls dont mind my english as I am an indian kid.
common misconception is that Ghetsis tried to kill the player here, he was actually trying to incapacitate the player. i can see how people would think that but no official sources or even the dialogue state that he's trying to kill them, only freeze. being frozen isnt lethal in this universe.
glaciate cannot freeze glaciate involves launching multiple sharp objects at the target ghetsis *specifically* tells kyurem to use glaciate ghetsis has had kyurem for enough time to either make or retrofit an entire ship based around it ghetsis is an *actual psychopath* ghetsis was about to kill you and he was fully aware of that
