I'm a massive X and Y fan. While ORAS was the first Pokemon game I ever got, I got confused about where to go near the end of the game, and gave up. Wanting another Pokemon game, I bought and played X and Y. And boy, was it an experience. From the first few opening moments of the game, I was mesmerized. I played through it all, and loved every minute of it. The complex characters (Lysandre doesn't want to destroy the world, especially not when this would kill all Pokemon, he just believes it's the only way to fix humanity), the heartfelt and emotional moments (I'll never forget watching the fireworks with Shauna), the final Champion battle...everything was incredible, wonderful, and amazing, and it makes me sorry so many people hate X and Y when they really are good games, especially when you put them next to some of the other well praised games like Sun and Moon. All in all, I have wonderful memories of playing these games, and I'm incredibly happy I could hear this theme again. Thank you so much Nintendo, for creating this masterpeice.
Yeah man you’re right about Lysandre, he isn’t the terrible villain everyone says he is, he’s actually quite complex in both the games and the anime, he’s a pretty underrated villain.
When I first beat the elite four and heard this song, I thought, "Sorry Pokemon Emerald. You've been replaced. This game had everything for me. I am sorry to say but I have to say good bye to you. It is breaking my heart to say, but the third generation games are no longer my favorite ones. The sixth gen has it now for me... :`(" This is one of my favorite End Themes of all time. It's right up there with Still Alive from Portal. It just does what a Ending theme is supposed to do. Reminding you of how much you enjoyed the game you just finished.
The only thing this game didn't do perfect in my eyes was how easy it was. Other than that it was awesome. I really like the new fairy type and the mega evolutions are just awesome. Also this game opened my eyes. When the fariy type and the mega evolutions were confirmed I thought: "No way! That's it. Now Pokemon is dead for me. There's no way for gamefreak to get my money for this shit!" But one day in my local gamestore, I saw it and picked it up with the thoughts, "well it can't be that bad..." and now it's my favorite pokemon game of all time. And that's comming from a player who's playing pokemon since gen 2. I know feel bad for how ignorant and stupid I was.
K-OnForLife I do feel kinda stupid about what my thoughts were too. I was thinking that Nintendo was losing creativity because Xerneas looked like a deer, and that the fairy types were just a really stupid idea, but my opinions have changed. Xerneas is one of my favorites because of Geomancy, and I'm going to possibly play through the game for a fifth time using only fairy types.
DEM TRUMPETS! lol when i first heard these credits i immediately start thinking dem trumpets and i love the credits because of that (i'm a trumpet player so it feels awesome when an amazing song like this pretty much stars the same instrument that you play)
I still remember the day...that very day i completed the Kalos elite 4 when i was 9 years old. Unfortunately, after the hall of fame, i had to go to have a day at a program for kids with special needs (i have a blind eye and servre Autism) but it was still a great day. We got to watch Smufs the lost village in cinema and when i arrived home, i was greeted with....this. This beautiful credits theme...I'll always remember them... Xrenas the peaceful Swoobat the brave Venusaur the tough Lucario the justice Lapras the kind And... Chesnaught the Knight
It didn't hit me when I was younger, but I recently played and finished the game again and boy did this ending music made me emotional! Glad this was the first pokemon game that I finished on my own
Oh my goodness! This is just amazing. It practically sums up the game -no! All of Pokemon. Beautiful. When I first heard it after beating the game with my sister...we BOTH got teary eyed...and that is saying a lot, considering my sister never cries over something like this. The only other time she teared up is over [...Spoilers?] Dobby's death in Harry Potter. And the message at the ending...oh my goodness!! That message!! :,) It brought tears into my eyes once again! This game, in my eyes, was amazing! Sure, it had its flaws, it has some kinks it needs to fix...but other than that, it was just amazing.
These credits make me feel so sad like i accomplished something so dangerous and it reminds me of my old friends when i was in jr high i was upset crying i did not want to leave it also makes me feel upset like someone died saving everyone and defeated evil
After the Z-A news i had to return. I forgot how much i enjoyed X. The most emotional music and ending. Its something in the song that got me. If Z-A doesnt have this in there and AZ im going to be highly upset.
@@c0mpu73rguy "Gen 1 is probably the only good gen pokemon ever had" -Electrode being Copy-Paste of it's evolution -Muk being bigger Grimer -Magneton being 3 magnemite -Having a ghost and a dragon specialist yet only 1 evolutionary line for each type -Psychic being overpowered I don't say gen 1 is bad, all gens imo have their ups and downs, but being the only good gen? Fat chance.
There was so much good about X and Y. I loved the cities for one. And the music was really fitting for France and often very emotional. There will be a lot of opportunities to hit nostalgia strings in Legends Z-A.
Man Kalos deserves a second chance after that pair of easy games. Kalos is my favorite region with my favorite pokemon, but the games sucked. Will always look forward for the day when XY get their so needed remakes.
i cried when i ended the game. in my head i said to myself " I DID IT? I DID IT!! YESSS FINALLY MY JOURNEY IS FINALLY OVER I HAVE ABSOLUTLEY DESTROYED THEM WITH MY LOVELY TEAM!!!"
I love this game!! It was the first Pokemon game I ever played so I have this game to thank for introducing me to this amazing franchise! There has not been a single Pokemon game I have played that I didn’t like!! Also, the gen 6 anime is my favourite series in the entirety of the anime!!!! I just love the gen 6 anime, they did to Trevor, Tierno and Shauna what the loony tunes show did to Lola bunny! Now I thought they were Ok in the games but in the anime they are far better!! Also The XY anime has my favourite of Ash’s travel companions in the form of Serena! She is one of my favourite Pokemon anime characters next to ash himself!
I want story elements from B&W and beautiful music like N’s Farewell or Unwavering emotions. I want the champion to be as cool as Cynthia, I want to have as much content as Heart gold and soul silver, I want to have friendship like Lillie’s from Sun and Moon. I know it’s way to much to ask but maybe one day
Pokemon diamond and pearl : I have the saddest credits ever who hears this will have tears sliding off their faces Pokemon X Y : hold my trumpets sɹǝuoq ǝɯ ǝʌɐb sıɥʇ
this has to be the saddest theme i ever heard makes me think this song is played for a hero who died sacrificing himself to bring the world back to peace
Whats the song with the trumpet actually titled whenever I look up the credits it always comes up with the second song. Which is okay but to me it isn't as soulful
This is where us gen 6 fans unite, because it doesn't matter if x and y were too easy, or if oras had no battle frontier, or if some of your first Pokemon games were as forgotten as super mystery dungeon or Pokemon art academy, we all knew how many memories gen 6 brought back, and it's so hard to believe that x and y are almost 10 years old. We may not be as big as hgss or the unova games, but it doesn't matter, every Pokemon game was someone's first, and for us, it was the joy ride that was generation 6.
