Pokémon x was my first Pokémon game ! I’ve never really been into the franchise until 2014 and when I got my braces one my mom bought me the 3ds with the game 🥲 I remember being in a lot of pain the first week but fortunately I had a new game to soothe my suffering lol 😊 now I feel so old I can’t believe I’m already twenty 😭

oh my god this hit me so hard in the feels!! it’s almost my 9 year anniversary of getting this game and it means more to me than words can say, it’s remained to be my comfort game since the christmas of 2013; truly an underrated game in the franchise!

Pokemon X was my first pokemon game and this made me want to play it again, unfortunetly my ds has some problems and I'm unable to :(, but this broght me back some good memories of traveling through kalos for the first time

pokemon x & y wasn't my first pokemon game but i can definitely say it's the one i look back on the most fondly :'] i miss it, i wish i could play it for the first time again. genuinely the last pokemon game with a fully solid ost, imho.

I've been playing Pokemon since gen 1 and I have to say that Anistar City is easily a top 3 town theme in the entire series. X/Y in general definitely has the most underrated ost of the main series.

Even though i started with gen 4 I have so much nostalgia for gen 6 because it was the first generation I played over 999 hours in and was the first I completed the region dex in

I love watching the anime of pokemon xy and Serena is my favorite pokemon character

6:44 and 26:38 the two most forgotten masterpieces in the series. As a sax player, coumarine city will always hit harder for me than it might for some others, and I am ok with that. As for Shalour city, it's just perfect in every way.

Even though these games are considered bad because of their easy difficulty I cannot resist loving them because of the sheer amount of nostalgia I feel because Pokémon X was my first Pokémon I played fully consciously with what I was doing

"Vaniville Town", "Serena/Calem's Theme" (not in the video), Kiseki (Not in the video) "FIN" and "An Unwavering Heart X and Y" somehow make me feel Safe, Sad and Nostalgic even though i never played Y and Y (or in fact any of the other Games) and i've only watched Gameplay of it. Still these two Games, their Region, their Characters and their Story mean so much to me.

Black was my first game so often I'll listen to something Gen 5 related, but I tend to forget that X was my second game, and has nearly as much nostalgia as Black does tbh. I was older and understood the concept of Pokémon more at that point so I played this game even more than Black. Dare I say, this is even *more* nostalgic. Ik Gen 6 wasn't too popular but as long as they still do the main thing their for i.e making childhoods, it's a W in my book. Seriously though since coming to the switch the non-battle music doesn't feel as memorable imo

Gen 6 was the peak of Pokémon for me. It was my second to last year of High school when XY came out. My family could finally afford internet and I got to play Pokémon online and get mystery gifts for the first time without going to the library to use the internet there. I had so much fun on wonder trade, shiny hunting and battling with my friends over Skype. The PSS was insanely well designed too

I think the music in xy is what really captures the feel of Kalos. It's such a good mix of ancient and mystical sounds with the excitement and sense of adventure every pokemon game needs. It brings me so many fond memories and such a rush that most osts dont give me. The beginning of snowbelle city always gives me chills. It's just such a perfect soundtrack for the game and region. Edit: my first edit disappeared :( Anyway, i was gushing about how good this ost is and i really like how you lined it up for this mix, everything fades into one another really well. Great job! EDIT AGAIN: I FORGOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH THE FRIENDS SONG REPRISE MAKES ME WANT TO CRY i seriously love it so much. And emotion/unwavering too?? I love bw, so the fact that they reused that one beautiful song at such a key part of the story was just. Perfection.

The first "big jump" for the series that made me so excited. I wasn't working at the time so I didn't have enough money (I had part of it) to get it and my best friend at the time who lived in Italy (very far from me) who was a HUGE Pokemon guy with his brother sent me 10 euros so I could complete the purchase, ended up getting Y. I remember when we were transferring some Pokemon that I wanted from him that we could talk via voice chat through the 3DS system and it was mindblowing to me how I was able to talk to him as if we were on a phone call. Sending Pokemon online while we were miles and miles and miles away and talking like that it was just surreal and such a good memory that I will never forget. The game itself I really liked overall but I had my gripes. First one the EXP share made the game so easy that I remember letting the Elite Four leader kill some of my Pokemons on purpose so it could get "interesting" which was a real letdown. I play very casually, beat it once or two and then move on. Get my team, see them evolve and that's it but if I'm not challenged in a game it just get boring for me. Anyway thank you for sharing this. I haven't liked the games since Sun and Moon and haven't played the Switch ones either. Scarlet and Violet seem like another small step in the right direction but it feels like they take one small step every few years and are stuck in the past with the formula, not even talking about the performance and the mess with bugs we have seen but the game design. I love seeing the Pokemon actually roaming around and battling in real time so that's a pro at least. One thing I don't like though is how extremely tiny they are and even Pokemon that are supposed to be huge are basically your height which puts me off. We have seen really beautiful games with beautiful 3D models (and their size being more like what you would expect) in not mainline games like Snap or even Stadium, how is that the mainline games struggle so much still, you would think all the efforts would be put into them but alas.

XY are underrated, and you did great with this comp! Last pokemon game I was excited for before release, maybe residual hype from gen5 being gen5... and new hype for 3d pokamanz.... i think XY and ORAS aged way better than SM. Just aint the same walking around with no Dpad option.

As Pokemon X and Y was my first game it is naturally the game I tend to go to for nostalgia, whether that's music or just playing the game. This is a good compilation of all the great music in XY. This feels weird to say but I was only like 9 when I played these games and I liked playing them so much I bought X and Y and beat pokemon X like 8 times over the course of a year. But hearing this music I oddly don’t feel much nostalgia at all. With Diamond and Pearl as well as Black and White I do… but not with these games sadly.

I went through my Pokémon games yesterday just to see that I lost my Pokémon x AND y games, and I spent the most time I’ve spent on any game on Pokémon X😭 I also lost Pokémon Diamond but I have platinum still so it’s okay.

The only track I really hate is Camphrier town lol! 😆😆 Became sick and tired of it early on
