The OST - oh my god. Best thing since homemade bread. Every time I hear it I feel nostalgia and adrenaline pumping through me. It’s hard not to vibe, lol.
XYZ was the absolute peak of pokemon. Ash had an adult look, the cast was absolutely phenomenal, the story was great, and the battles were amazing. Ash felt more wise and stronger than any of the other. Unlike every other region he didn't actually forget how to catch pokemon. All Ash's pokemon felt like he had a certain bond with them (especially Greninja). He still had his childlike moments but he still felt more mature and even ending up being a badass. He even had a form of depression arc and got a form of devleopment Clemont was the perfect opposite to Ash (unlike Goh). His inventions were quirky and unique, and the way he genuinely became more and more brave because Ash influenced him. Serena was when they finally tried making a love story, and it worked. Her story is also great because she started out only wanting to meet Ash but then she wanted to enter contests and even came close to winning Even Bonnie was given importance. Her bond with Zygarde was cool and was wayyy better than Max as the kid of the group. His rivals were some of the absolute best besides Paul. Sawyer was the perfect rival as their styles are completely opposite. Sawyer started out as a beginner and gradually learned from Ash even surpassing him at one point. Ash fights instinctively and can come up with new ways to fight mid battle while Sawyer fights more calculated, yet you can see him take Ash's unpredicability into his own style. Alain although introduced late still felt like a great opponent and not a blatant excuse to make Ash loose the league (Looking at you Tobias). Although he was introduced late, he still left a great impression of this symbol of strength. Team flare although also introduced late got a very hype arc that almost felt like a war arc (rip clembot). Sub themes were absolutely amazing (IKU Z is amazing!). In the anime they just introduced a whole new mechanic, they made Ash feel completely unique by giving him a special thing only he could do in the form of Ash Greninja. Greninja was already beloved and Ash's frokie was one of his best because he had such a bond with it. My only problem with XYZ is that all of this greatness that Ash had gotten were completely thrown out in Sun and moon. He became an idiot again. Also remind me why... the guy who has entered more than 7 leagues right now if we count orange islands (which he won) and getting to semi finals in sinnoh, and even finals in XYZ... WOULD NEED TO GO TO A POKEMON SCHOOL?!
@@damriyeauhayes8660 well it's a correct unpopular opinion as although I like Brock as he was really funny he legitimately had almost zero character development. (Re watching XY and all previous series just to say goodbye to ash)
Hard to believe XY dropped 10 years ago, makes me feel so old lmao. Stumbled upon your video and I'm very glad I did. I remember following all the twitter pages dedicated to following updates with the XY anime, and all the hype after the kiss scene. I still remember the dread and disappointment leading up to all the leaks of Sun & Moon. Fun Fact - Ash was allegedly slated to win the Kalos League AND have some degree of further romantic development with Serena, but TV Tokyo didn't think it'd be good for viewer retention for when Sun & Moon dropped. Great video, will definitely be checking out the rest of your channel!
Mate. For Sun and Moon, they could have made Ash a teacher of sorts to teach the next generation of Pokemon trainers! Instead, they turned him back into an idiot.
Pokemon XYZ was amazing great character development from everybody, it had a more serious tone than other series but still managed to maintain the goofiness Pokemon is known for, the animation made everything more intense. I rewatch episodes whenever I get the chance to.
I remember reading somewhere that XYZ was immensely popular with Western audiences who loved the more serious tone and ‘grown up Ash’ but it wasn’t so well received in Japan who preferred silly, slapstick comedy instead. This was why the animation was changed to Sun and Moon’s goofy, over the top and (in my option) very stupid looking style. Apparently the extreme animation of One Piece is very well liked in Japan which is what the animators took into consideration for SM.
Ash REALLY should have won the league in XYZ. It would have been perfect. He was at the height of his character, he had good rivals, everything was set up perfectly. I remember watching the episode where he lost to Alain and being legitimately upset that he lost. I was hoping, praying, that he would finally win since they had such a good setup for it. And as you said, it feels like an insult that he won in Alola instead of Kalos. Like they were rubbing salt in the wound that is his loss in the XYZ finals. XYZ was the peak of Pokemon anime, sun and moon was shit, and journeys is meh as well.
I completely agree it would have definitely been great but sadly I did watch the mega special, Alan's mini series I sadly knew his Charizard would Clutch against ash's team
Nah then him winning the league would undermine his character arc in snow bell city and the team flare arc collapses because there is no narrative weight
Nah we Alain was just the stronger trainer sorry. We saw his achievements and feats in mega evolution special and see him fight zyguard forms. His spot in the master 8 proves he was heading to elite 4/low champion level in skill while ash was still not quite there yet. Honestly everyone forgets dp and imo the true greatest Pokemon series. Ash actually should of won that league if Tobias never entered. He just beat his strongest and greatest rival at the time in the most important battle for his character.
Bonnie does have some moments, her taking care of Flabebe and scaling the cliff (which was also cool since she wasn't able to in the 2nd gym) to get Flabebe the flower was so cute, I'd love to see a short special or even just a movie around Bonnie
@@MintyWW I got into a year after high school, I saw it on TV and I see ash and I'm like dud he grow up, honestly clemont bonnie and serena are my favorite characters in the anime aside from may, xy was the end of a Era 😭😭😭
“I wanna be.. the very best, like no one ever was…. To catch them, is my real test, to train them is my cause!” Damn I miss this theme.. its so nostalgic and gets me so energetic lol Ash went downhill really quick after Serena kissed him 💀
Man I’m probably a lot younger than y’all but in 3rd/4th grade waking up Saturday mornings to watch this show and eat waffles were some of the best memories I’ve ever had. I’ve rewatched this series countless times and have replayed the game (which isn’t great) countless times. So happy to see this show getting the recognition it deserves
XYZ was the first time in a long time, that Ash felt like the experienced Pokemon trainer he is. There were traces of it in Diamond and Pearl, but XYZ Ash feels like what we would expect Ash to be at this point. He's grown up, like we are.
Lets be real. People who hate this series either think that Greninja is overatted (Wich as a Greninja fanboy, I agree with), or have superglued on Nostalgia glasses. DP was really good too but in my Opinion XY was and always will be number one.
That time in XY where serena just started crying cause she lost but only many hours after the contest. She was the most characterised pokemon companion
@@larsthoreson7279 sure, really shows whether you actually paid attention. Dawn is a damn good character but so is Serena. I won't comment on who's better since I'm biased towards Serena but in no way was she a bad character
The problem with Serena is that she uses the same strategy. Dawn and may have originality and great rivals and battles. Serena's strategy is just using pancham's stone edge and when she didn't in ep 8, casually she lost. With dawn and may we see more developments and the exhibitions are way better than every serena's performance except the last one against the queen
i dont know why i suddenly found this video but its amazing. Black and White was so bad for me that i dropped the entire franchise, even the games for some time, it wasn't until XY came out that i came back and i have never left since. Even after watching Sun and Moon (which was OK but not the best) and Journeys (which was mediocre at best but got saved by the final battle) XYZ is still my favorite season. Where i live that's an unpopular opinion (for a number of reasons) but honestly i don't care. Now that Ash's story is coming to an end i'm just glad to have returned to the franchise thanks to XYZ and that i still see XYZ fans remembering it years later with fanarts and fanfics. They won't let the legacy be forgotten.
It's a season that means more to me then I thought it would, xy ash, serena clemont bonnie and sawyer, alain, korrina all mean so much to me I always read xy or amourshipping fanfiction have for the past seven years, for me pokemon ended here and ash's journey end here
@@squoope I like the black and white games, sun and moon games xy games mostly, pokemon has not been the same since xy and since ash is leaving Friday I'm sad he didn't get a proper send off 😭😭
I loved XY so much that I didn't mind the games being a little bit unfinished and slightly bad. The manga was also great even the Clemont abuse got me hyped up for what would come next. A very rare thing for me to say as Clemont is my favourite pokémon character
Xy and xyz is the main reason why I love pokemon so much, this season.. i can talk about it a full day, the story, the OSTS, bro.. the osts is in another level, and the romance. Xy and xyz will ever have a place in my heart, recenty i started pokemon since the start, and i am in episode 95 now, but i want to get into kalos fast 😂 "i'm home" 06/08/22 - 95
I started with xy/xyz at a time where I was struggling so when it ended and I looked back at previous seasons and the sun and moon series I thought to myself “wow this is shit” so I just stopped watching What was my first and still one of my favorite anime. I really miss that series
Dude i dont really get how people hate s&m. It has probably some of the coolest moments ever. At the last episode of season 1 when pikachu creates an electric pathway to jump over the water tornado shows how much he has improved in stradegy compared to b&w... fighting monsters, travelling to another dimension, professor kukui, z-moves, team rocket and rowlet. It also had not so bad filler. Its not better than xy but honestly personally one of the best
I found one factor behind the incredible success of xy series the quality over quantity and minimalism it came to be like the series was designed by Steve jobs just see how they introduced only few but adorable Pokemon to this new series and Ash's rivals were given most loved pokemons from previous best series consider Sawyer's team based on Hoenn or some best Pokemon taken from black and white unphezent of Alain, and other lovable Pokemon from sinnoh region instead of introducing new Pokemon whom we could adapt to love they gave impetus to those who were already loved which turned to great familiarity and fandom to the series. In Black and white they introduced new Pokemon like grains of sand but most were hated by fans. One famous example is bunairy of the girl in the episode a keeper for keeps? A Pokemon from sinnoh already loved imagine there couldn't be any other suited more Pokemon for the moment to be fitted and if they tried to create it could spoil the acquaintance of the episode. One more example is of Steven Stone from hoenn in mega evolution special he fitted exactly in the slot to be Alain's friend. Also his mentorship with Sawyer is well drafted. If they tried to create new character for the role it could be a trash not as cool as Steven was. Just contemplate on what I said.
That is what I love it didn't waste time. few showcases the better fewer league battles the better. It leads to more focus on the things that matter to the season
Every single Pokemon XY anime opening hits so hard. Mad-Paced Getter is another favorite of mine. So much more I want to say but I don't feel like writing a essay. This show, it's my fucking jam.
The Kalos seasons were definitely the best. Ash felt more like a young adult that had seen alot rather than a kid in a new place. He was the one instructing people rather than having Brock Misty or Cilan giving the advice. Overall he felt like a dense 16 year old.
It is actually fine and realistic that 10 year olds explore via light kissing (remember truth or dare anyone, do kids even play that anymore?) Great video again, in tears of pure nostalgia, I am off to loop original pokemon theme now.
Every episode filler or not was fun, the fights are animated amazingly I feel like out of every series this ken has an actual plot and it’s interesting. Always wondering what is mega evolution and the origin what Pokémon have mega evolutions, and then the bond phenomenon of ash and the way they animate that you just feel there’s something special something mystical that we don’t yet know about
XY (and XYZ) was the first Pokémon series I watched. I actually started watching from the Kalos league episodes and I was absolutely flabbergasted when Ash lost. I was so confused that the main character didn’t win. Then I researched and found out he never wins, but he carries on. That part of his character got me really hooked on the show. I watched all the other episodes and loved them so much.
It's definitely the best pokemon series, my personal favorite, it was the Shonen pokemon series. Ash had a great look and a strong leading personality, animation and battle psychology was at it's peak, the companion characters are all super interesting and enjoyable to have around. Many personal arcs are well executed. The romance was adorable and done in a satisfying way. It's the only pokemon season with an awesome villain team arc. And YES the Japanese XYZ opening is an absolute banger! Though the English 3rd opening is really good too. Truthfully my only complaint is Ash should have won the league, he had grown so much and become so strong he earned it here. I was so mad that the goofball series, with the weaker writing and characters was where Ash finally wins a league. Japan, America, GIVE US PERMANENT ACCESS TO THIS SHOW.
i've always watched pokemon, and when xyz come out, GOD I WAS SO HAPPY!!! Finaly ash is not a stupid BABY, he is a trainer with a lot of expirence, and everyone understand that, it was such a good show! (Serena is the best girl from all pokemon series in my opinion)
ironically, I like both XY and Sun and Moon! i agree that Sun and Moon could be better and has many flaws, but i like some things, like ash's pokemon, his relationship with professor Kokuie, the animation isn't too bad, just the art style which is a bit meh. And I think this was the series that Ash won the league because he created a connection with the region and the people in it, thus making his victory (in my opinion) well earned. But I recognize it's not the best series compared to XYZ TwT btw, you made a little mistake when talking about Alan. he doesn't just want the strongest, he wants to be the strongest in mega evolution! and Aylin's Chespin falls into a coma after he starts working for Lyzandre! He meets her after starting to work for him.
I was confused when XYZ got took of Netflix for Sun and Moon, I watched Sun and Moon and loved it, cried when SM ended, I didn’t watch XYZ fully though but I will
The first Pokemon series i saw was XYZ dubbed and then the Japanese version. Most anime that i watch i prefer the sub but I think because i started with the dub i prefer it more but i completely agree that the Japanese OST is way better than the English one, so if there can be a universe where it has the Japanese OST but with the dub, I would be estatic😊
People when i said i love Serena's Fennekin costume in 2024: Hey hey! Calm down, Your so sus like so Sussy baka Back then when i say the same thing to people: Agree! Ash And Serena make a perfect couple with costumes
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD VIDEO WHY WHYYY IS IT STILL NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE OTHER THAN PRIME HELLO WHAT. ur reactions to serena and ash got me so good they're so yes. I'm so sad it deserves sm more
The end of XYZ was also the end of my highschool life and I went to uni the next year when xyz ended my childhood ended I wasn't able to keep up with pokemon after that until the pandemic strucks lmaoo
I hate how in journeys, they make ash have a fight with Wallace, completely missing Serena’s performance. When they do meet again it’s like ash forgot she gave him a kiss.
would love for the cast to make another serie, with ash, serena, clem and bonnie. but with same graphic style, like the anime design of the people like ash and that
Honestly I couldn't have said it better myself! Up until this point the Sinnoh era was my favorite of the Pokemon anime, but the XY era is arguably the best for all the reasons you said. The animation, story, character arcs and overall aesthetic of this series was everything we needed from the anime. The only flaw it had, in my opinion, was that Ash should have won the league. I wholeheartedly agree that Ash deserved and earned it more in Kalos. I mean he forgot what Volt Tackle was while he was in Alola for goodness sake!!!! They really dumbed him down in that region. If they knew they were going to do a mini reboot of his character in Alola then they should have had him go out with a bang and win in Kalos, but I digress. XY is my favorite hands down and I love it so much.
It's sad that people hype up XYZ so much and then want Ash to win as if the best part of the anime wasn't an effect of Ash losing. Greninja beating MCX would have ruined the team flare arc
I Loved XY/Z it got me back into Pokémon(would quit this series if it didn’t exist) and it still remains my favorite region. Also there’s a bs reason Ash lost in the Kalo’s league. Apparently Ash was originally going to win the league however TV Tokyo(at least I think it was them) wasn’t ok with that idea as they believed Ash winning would stop people from supporting the anime so the XY/Z writers were replaced with the Black&White writers which makes Ash winning in Sun & Moon even worse in hindsight. Needless to say the XY/Z writers were just as upset as we were when Ash lost. P..S. If you haven’t I highly recommend the latest Pokémon films I Choose You and The Power of Us, the second one especially has XY/Z quality writing.
Damn, that hurts knowing he was originally going to win. I'm gonna be crying myself to sleep tonight. And about the two movies, thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely check them out.
I remember in France, the first episode of sun and moon was just after the Vulcanion movie, so with my brother we watched the movie and then, in a first time we laught like we never taught and in the second time we cry because of what was that shit we were looking at, passing from a "16 years old Ash" with beautiful graphics to the biggest piss dog shit we ever seen !!
XY/XYZ are the two very first animes i watched and i fell in love with anime because of them. every time i see serena or any of the kalos pokemon on any of the games i get flooded with nostalgia
God... if only Greninja could've survived that final Blast Burn we wouldn't have to deal with SM anime stans... love XY easily the best Pokemon Anime iteration
In full.hinesty, I didn't even watch that Team Flare arc because apart from my final Elementary Exams happening in the time period those episodes were released, the whole change in tone caught me by surprise so much that I honestly figured I'd catch up later (which i ended up never doing much and just skipped to that Ash releases Greninja bit cause damn)
Alao, the Sun and Moon anime... Its not entirely bad in my opinion, but I do however share your annoyance of it for the same reasons. Basically, they brought back the child friendly nature of Pokemon to replace the awesome bad-assery of XY that everyone loved so yeah I can see why you hated Sun and Moon.
I must thank you for this video and letting me remember XY&Z I loved watching it in the mornings before school and why did they take it off crunchy roll
When XYZ was released, I was like, OH YO ANOTHER POKEMON ANIME I GOTTA WATCH THIS (btw I make pokemon videos now) I just like the jokes that Team Rocket Makes, like... "the glasses gang" and Bonnie's Reactions of Clemont's Inventions Failing And Exploding! Like... "another one bites the dust." Goodbye!
On the defense of Pokemon Sun and Moon. I have not seen the anime, but there are two battles that I still think about from the Sun and Moon Arc. Ash vs Kukui, and the Guzma Tournament Arc. Those were pretty epic. I need to watch it entirely cause I know for sure that series had some banger episodes
I just watched this fucking master piece after years of forgetting this damm amazing Pokémon series was still here I’m just damm and and mad that they didn’t continue the series of xy to z after the ending said to be continued I live xyz and I felt the bond they put in the characters in xy to z I just damm fucking live it 😢
Honestly kalos with mega evolution walked so z moves, dynamax, gigantimax, and terastilization could run its my fav anime and region cuz the storytelling and animation was waaaayyy better and the fairy type was a cherry on top to i just wish the game was as good as the anime but i still like it since i was my first Pokémon game when i was a lil kid but ngl idk what u on but black and white seemed refreshing and pretty good cuz it was the first region to get inspo from somewhere finally outside of japan and it was cool to see the diversity in all their new pokemon and having legends that can fuse and i might be biased cuz black and white was the first pokemon anime i saw cuz i mean i tried watching the first 4 gens but ngl as a kid it felt so tedious and its low quality compared to what i had just watched felt tedious and i dropped them except for gen 1 but like lets be real as a kid youd like almost anything as long as u grew up with that specific thing but its not to hate on ur taste and loki it is a bit weird to he critical and hate on any of the Pokémon gens like 5 and 7 especially when its supposed to be ash being silly but considering he is still 10 and he seems to start out from scratch in every gen the plot as a whole almost doesn’t matter and most kids wouldn't notice since their target audience is other 10 year olds not their loyal fan base of grown adults so it makes sense and its not to shame adults who enjoy it cuz theres nothing wrong with it i just notice and thought it was weird how some older ppl in the fanbase be annoyed of alola not taking itself too seriously and is supposed go be silly for the silly lil kids in the fanbase who enjoyed it and ngl i didn’t like sun and moon at first and i hated it but got used to it but it was wild how thats how he became champion and won when it didn’t feel as important of a win as when he was in kalos and i do prefer when anime take themselves more seriously like in kalos and it was nice to see ash mature more mentaly and he also looked like he might actually be growing up cuz to me as a kid i thought he looked like he was a teen and how things looked like he was actively progressing and growing in his journey and in the anime and with the quality of gen 6 i thought it would end there cuz it would seems more fitting if ash became champion there for the story but i did also like how kalos seemed so aesthetically pleasing getting inspo from france but considering how most of the gens are coming from japan and europe with galar from the uk and paldea from spain if they continue making more gens i hope they give us something fresh and get inspo from other places aside from the US as well like maybe other parts of asia or south and central america since the pokemon themselves get inspo from how diverse life to emphazise the huge world of pokemon also with pokemon legends z-A in the making i hope this does kalos some justice for the game cuz they missed so much for x and y and i think thats ehy its not as popular
The Gen 6 portion of the anime is my all time favorite among the series as well. I was absolutely peeved when all his progress from this series was practically flushed down the toilet when Sun and Moon came out
XYZ was the show I grew up on, and the show that brought my back to Pokemon. This is my favorite Pokemon show, and I will never forgive the writers for making Ash lose in the final battle
I think sun and moon Ash deserve to win as Alola region more effect him then kalos region. he enjoy the alola and made his second home although i love x and y, and ost ohh what a banger but alola Ash deserve it. edit: i even cry when x and y ends.
I thought indigo league was my favorite, but now that I've rewatched both I gotta say a lot of the nostalgic moments I was remembering were from XY + XYZ. XYZ is for sure the best pokemon anime, and since pokemon is really one of the only animes I watched its also my favorite anime of all time.
Sometimes people will go back to this what was the best, I'II am honest XY and XYZ this series in which there was everything that other Pokemon anime series lacked(of course Hoenn saga and Sinnoh saga, and Unova saga were however very interesting but lacked a certain element which was boldly introduced in XY and XY&Z series namely love plot), original series the action of which took place successively in the Kanto region then Orange Islands region and finally, the Johto region come gots charm and in a way, you can even like them(and I still them anyway) this lack of a love plot will always cause some dissatisfaction. Anyway XY and XY&Z give this what has been missed so far in Pokemon anime, of course, the love plot is May and Drew is ok but however, but it wasn't enough(by the way, in my country, I couldn't watch the Hoenn saga its entirety because the whole thing wasn't available dubbed, moreover three seasons crucial for the plot was missing, that is seasons 7,8 and 9) what has caused my interest anime to diminish greatly. And that is all that is told in this subject.
XYZ is special to me and my brothers because this is what brought me to absolutly love pokemon it was the first pokemon anime i watched and now that i learned the power of emulation and the internet i can play XYZ... wait what there isnt a pokemon z game
When it comes to Pokemon it very much feels like no one else shares my opinions on the series as a whole but i also feel like part of my opinions on Pokemon is petty also you said that Pokemon was on Crunchyroll did they have it in Sub or Dub
@@etheri0n959 I wish i would known about that but something similar happened to me with Youkai Watch Netflix had Youkai Watch in Japanese but they didn't add English subtitles until after they removed the Japanese version which really annoyed me the opinion of mine that might be petty is that i don't like name changing so with both Pokemon and Youkai Watch the combination of name changing bad voice acting and dub edits that make it feel like i am watching a different show really bring down the show for me there are select characters in Pokemon that have good dub voices but Dent is the only main character i am sure that Cherami Leigh does a great job as Koharu but i won't be watching Pokemon(2019) in dub Pokemon XY is where i noticed how bad the dub of Pokemon is because i got impatient and watched a head of Cartoon Network and now Rica Matsumoto is my favorite voice actor for performance as Satoshi alone hearing her voice acting gets me excited also i really like Pokemon Best Wishes sadly the only way for me to watch Pokemon and Youkai Watch is illegal streaming and i really wish i didn't have to use those sites
The art style was the only thing that pisses me off in sun and moon...otherwise it was good The way that ash was presented in sun and moon felt like he became dumber and denser than how he was shown in xy and xyz.... Tbh this was not a great way to end a previous adventure and start a new one...it felt a little disrespectful to the previous writers
@@anonimo-hk1cn i am an xy fan as well.....well the thing about xy is that the art style, choreography, and animation was extraordinary....like we have never seen in the previous series'.....if you would ask me about sun and moon...there is nothing wrong with it...except for the art style
Yesterday I fought in Kalos league for the first time (never had 3ds, just now found an emulator suitable for my laptop) and throughout the run i kept blasting XYZ opening over and over again. Truly felt like Satoshi (not Ash) during those moments. Thank you so much for making this video, its something Ive been saying for years. From the start to finish there was no wrong done to anyone, pokemon or human characters, and the battle animations were peak. Sun and Moon sucked with plot and animations but regional forms and Z moves tried to make up for it (they couldnt), while Journeys did a better job with the plot but what the hell were those gigantmax evoultions, its like they had a rule of "one step forward, two steps backwards" after XYZ. So yeah, nothing better was made before Kalos and nothing better will be made after Kalos
after i finished this series i genuinely felt like i was gonna cry, define masterpiece and you get this, i was upset because we wont get such good characters again, for example Clemont: Giga chad, engineer, great cook Bonnie: funny good character better then moron max Serena: YAY FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT Ash: coolest design for ash so far, looks like hes 17 years old, bond phenomenon, should have beat alain- Ash: stupid moron wins a league although he should not have screw you- Kiawe: oh so you lost a z crystal- Sophocles: REMOVE HIM AND NO CHANGE IN THE SHOW ACTUALLY- Lana: wants to live in a bubble and has no purpose in life Mallow: NO DEVELOPEMENT SHE JUST WANTS TO BE A GOOD COOK LITERALLY NOTHING AS GOOD AS THE XY CHARACTERS SCREW U MALLOW NO WONDER SHAYMIN LEFT- Lily: literally what is this human being, YOU GET TO LIVE IN THE POKEMON WORLD AND YOU ARE SCARED OF JUST PUTTING A SINGLE FINGER ON IT, FATHERLESS CHILD I WILL BOOT YOU TO GOD-
Yeah this was probably the peak of Pokémon or at least the quality. The next few series just sucked and seemed to be aimed towards a younger age group.
Woah now sun and moon slander is not appreciated. It was a great anime despite what happened before it. If you watch sun and moon for what it was and no compare it to others I think ppl would like it.
"You metcha Betcha I'm no beginner," that ONE line in the intro pretty much sums up XYZ Ash. He's been at this for like- 10 years! Of course he's not a beginner! And that's what XYZ got right and what the rest didn't.
