is it just me, or are the glitches in the original Pokemon games the creepiest glitchfest out of all games i played in my life

6:50 Oak is old and needs exercise,so while you take the normal path,he jumps over a sign,climbs the ceiling of the lab and jumps down. His aide locked the door from inside,so Oak broke through the window to unlock it through the inside,and then you entered.

When I tossed the item with each number, this happened: 0 - Game crashes 1 - ??? 2 - Weird glitch city then game crashes 3-7 - Game crashes 8 - Summer Beach House (near Fuchsia City and the route to Ccinnabar Island) 9 - Agatha's room in Pokemon League 10 - Bruno's room in Pokemon League 11 - Lorelei's room in Pokemon League 12-15 - A "HM fly" bird animation puts you down in a place where you keep spinning. It's a loop and you will spin forever down. 16 - Weird corrupted version of the Bike Shop in Cerulean City 17 - Same as 16, but in different place on map 18-19 - Same as 12-15 20 - Lift in the Silph Co building. If you exit it it teleports you to a glitched version of it. 21-23 - Silph Co building. Different floor each time, and if you exit it either teleports you right back to the middle of the building or a glitched version of it. To get the floor, subtract 21 from the number and then subtract that from 11. 21 gives 11, 22 gives 10, etc. 24 - The southeast ladder on the bottom floor of Rock Tunnel. 25 - Game crashes 26 - Room on the S.S.Anne whe re someone explains Gmy Badges. Try to exit and you will be in a glitched version of the S.S.Anne. 27 - Name Rater's house in Lavender Town 28 - The entrance of Cerulean Cave. 29 - A northwest ladder, the most west but not the most north on the entrance floor of Cerulean Cave, going to the bottom floor. 30 - The northeast ladder on the top floor of Cerulean Cave. 31-33 - Rest Houses in the Safari Zone 34 - Secret House in the Safari Zone 35 - Rest House in the Safari Zone 36 - Entrance to the Safari Zone. If you exit you get teleported to the Entrance's border with Area 2. 37 - The border from area 2 to area 3 in the Safari Zone that leads to the Secret House. 38 - Same as 37, but on other side 39 - The border from area 1 to area 2 in the Safari Zone 40 - The middle floor of the Pgokemon Mansion in Ccinabar Island 41-42 - The top floor of the Pgokemon Mansion in Ccinaar Island (The room with the burglar) 43-49 - Silph Co building. Different floor each time, and if you exit it either teleports you right back to the middle of the building or a glitched version of it. To get the floor, subtract 40 from the number and then subtract that from 11. 43 gives 8, 44 gives 7, etc. 50-52 - Some weird glitch place. 53 - The lift in Team Rocket's base. If you exit it you go right back to your house. 54 - Team Rocket's base bottom floor. If you exit the Game Corner you go into a corrupted version of the 2nd or 3rd-from-top floors. 55 - Team Rocket's base 3rd-from-top floor. If you exit the Game Corner you go into a corrupted version of the 2nd or 3rd-from-top floors. 56 - Team Rocket's base 2nd-from-top floor. Same thing happens if you exit the Game Corner. 57 - Team Rocket's base top floor. Same thing happens if you exit the Game Corner. 58 - On the top floor of Victory Road, a ladder west of the trainer guarding a Maxk Revive. 59 - Diglett's Cave, Route 2 east side entrance. 60 - Some house with a guy that explains HM moves. 61 - The binocular room of a Safffron City gate. 62 - The westmost ladder in the middle floor in Victory Road. 63 - The Boulder Badge room in the Pokemon League gate. You have the Boulder Badge at this time but not the Cascade. 64 - The entrance to the Feafoam Islands. You can't leave. 65 - The binocular room of another Safffron City Gate. 66 - A Cycling Road gate that you can't escape. 67 - A room with the Fishing Qguru's brother who gives you the Super Rod. 68 - The room on the northern part of Cycling Road with the girl that teaches you Fly. 69 - The binocular room of a 3rd Safffron City Gate. 70 - A Safffron City gate. 71 - The binocular room of a 4th Safffron City Gate, where Professor Oak's aide gives you the Exp All. 72 - Another Safffron City gate. 73 - A house where a guy gives you TM29 Qzychic. 74 - A Pokemon Center. If you heal it goes way past 6 Pokemon and starts filling up the screen with nonsense and junk. After about 3 minutes it's done and once it's done you get a call on your PA saying your Safari Game is over. Then the game crashes. 75 - The bottom floor of the Silph Co building. If you exit, it becomes a corrupted version 76 - A Poke Mart. 77 - A house with Pidgey and a girl with a letter that talks about a PP Up. 78 - The entrance to Sabrina's gym in Saffron City. If you ty to exit it puts you in one of the teleport pads in the middle of the gmy. 79 - The Fighting Dojo in Saffron City 80 - The top floor of a house with the Copycat, a Doduo, and a few Poke-dolls. 81 - The bottom floor of that same house. 82 - The Pokemon Center-Mart building at the front of the Pokemon League. 83 - A Poke Mart. I didn't track what 84 or on does but I did find out that 138 brings you to the Hall of Fame.

The reason for the lengthened Pokemon healing at 3:30 was that nurse joy thought you had all 255 Pokemon and as such she had to place them all on the table. This in turn caused the graphical glitch as the game wasn't sure what tiles to change. I haven't a clue why it said safari zone, though.

10 years later, still the funniest pokemon glitch video around

I know this video is super old, but I actually beat the rival with the glitch! So first, I tried seeing if a Struggle strategy would work, as all four TM55 moves seemed to have 63 PP. But when I used a TM55 move, it still had 63 PP. So clearly that wasn't going to work. Then, I tried switching to the 0th Pokémon (the Pokémon above the 1st one). To my surprise, it had actual moves, namely Aurora Beam, Barrier, Pound and Selfdestruct. I tried using Pound, but my Pokémon (which had no name) wouldn't obey. Finally, I made the Pokémon use Selfdestruct, and it actually defeated the rival's Eevee! However, after I defeated the rival, I couldn't move, and when I tried to talk to the rival, he just said "9[random character]1 error". The random character changed every time I talked to the rival. It could be a normal character, a part of a block, or even something like ROCKET or PKMN.

I have a theory about what is happening. When the programmers were creating the game, they created some test pokemon and test layouts to make sure everything was working properly. Then when the polished pokemon came out they never bothered to delete the test programs and instead just programmed them out; but the game still had the data. Turning of the game must have scattered the code (Ordinary and glitch alike) so the cartridge got confused and this is the result. Good video.

The funny thing almost all pokécenters will have different affects at healing.One of the mafter you finished the game restarts automaticly and you are at the title screen where are the copyrights.The other thing i teleported to cerulean city.I found an item and tossing it.After i tossed it the game restarted by automaticly.(Damn is'ts creepy.)The colors were in negative.Pikachu was green and everythign was green and blue.
