keep it going, you doing great. i am a chef. so i know about food. what i eat is only two meals at a day, after i wake up i going for a walk, and then study, then play, so 4 h awake i do make scrabeld eggs with veggies and parmesan. and 3 to 4 h later, just some cooked/ braised beef or any meat with veggies, butter i use a lot, and done, may some nuts with dark choclate later on. thats it. but carbs i do not eat much at all often i threw in between cake, but i did get rid of that habit. as well as smoking weed. on year sober.

Hey I just wanted to say that you shouldn’t get discouraged about how slow you think you’re losing weight. You should aim to lose a pound a week. MAXIMUM two lbs a week, but one lb/week is better. The reason is that you give your body time to adjust. If you lose weight too fast, your body will be panicking and looking to put it back on because it’s not used to it and will think something is wrong. I’d wager that is the reason you gained back the weight you lost on the paleo diet. Long story short, based on that table, you’re losing weight at a perfect rate. You’re killing it. DON’T try to lose 100 lbs by December! If you can somehow make that happen, you will gain it all back by next December. Take your time. Keep doing what you’re doing. Please consider going for 340-ish by December. Not only will you be less likely to gain the weight back, but it’s a more manageable goal, and you won’t be stressed out and disappointed that you aren’t losing weight faster. And you won’t feel like a failure when December rolls around. Trust me, you’re going to have enough stress and disappointment and failure at the poker tables 😉 Then NEXT December you go for 280. That’s 1.2-ish lbs per week from here to the end of 2025. It’s more manageable and more sustainable. And please don’t worry about disappointing other people by downsizing your goals. Maybe you disappoint people once, but you’ll avoid chronic disappointment in yourself over the next couple years. And you’re the one that would have to live with that, not them. Good luck! I’m excited for you either way, but please consider my words. I don’t know you, but for some reason I feel compelled to share what little wisdom I have if it will contribute to your success. 🤙🏼

Bro try fasting, I've lost 40lbs in a couple months. Go 24hr periods without eating a couple days a week and the weight will fall off you. As for poker keep up the grind, it'll come together for you. Keep grinding that weight and bankroll. Maybe a bankroll challenge where you have to make what you lose in weight, lose 50 lbs and have to make 500$. Either way i just subbed and like the content.

really appreciate your passion to improve in all areas of your life...as far as poker goes, you have some decent fundamentals but could def improve in many areas. have you considered investing into some coaching? i think some solid coaching will improve you enough to beat micro stakes on acr

For the first hand, he was literally letting you get away cheap and you paid him off anyways. Against a normal UTG range you’re basically dead, and the couple of flush draws can still get there if it randomly happens to be that. It’s an easy fold for how it was played.

Yea looking back at it and breaking things down this makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the input!

Actually at micros, calling here is 100% profitable in the long term atleast where I play. So often they will just have a flush draw or 109 j10 q10 k10

1st hand review looks like you need to work on some SPR theory stacking off with 6.8 SPR looks pretty marginal stacking off with TP. keep up the good work tho :)

Hey Dev, one thing you might want to start trying is check calling when you have a pocket pair but the board has higher over cards… so your JJ hand where the flop was 2QA… you bet and got raised right? The guy could have had a queen or an ace but try checking and seeing what he does next time… with no bet to call or raise on, they might bet small and give you pretty good pot odds to see what the turn is… and then obviously if they bet really large you can just lay it down instead of calling

I recommend something intense in Cardio such as boxing or maybe Muay Thai for weight loss. Not only have I saw some insane transformations personally but those workouts are fun and very active as opposed to being in your thoughts at a regular gym lifting weights and stuff. Also the fact you hoop is good as well a lot of running. It’s not easy brother but you got this! And keep up the poker grind as well :)

bro poker has so much varience, setting a time limit on your br progress means that you should be grinding tons of poker, i am talking like 200k a month, first hand was just a cooler bro, ak is a fold

@@devpoker ye man look at the variance calculators, i win at 5bb/100 at 200nl and i can make 20k OR 120k al depends on how lucky i am basically no matter how much i play, even if i do it for 12h a day every day i can still run like s...... and make 20k super unlikely but can happen, so ur challange is only depended on how you run, also beacuse of variance you really shouldnt care about your weekly or ofc daily resoults every player will have negative months except for the mega grinders (and extreme crushers 10bb+ which is possible only on isolated fields) EDIT sry for bad spelling english isnt my native language

Try keto diet (exclude any carbohydrates). It effectively makes you eat less calories, but you get full and don't feel hungry us much. You need to create calorie deficit long term, exercise won't help nearly us much. Exercise make you first burn glycogen instead of fat and you replenish that glycogen by eating (more) so staying the same. You still need to exercise though regularly as effects will kick in eventually to stabilize your weight , but diet first and works. Poker wise you are very aggro which is correct, but try to find folds when you see a lot of resistance especially being a feared player.

@@devpoker i think you should consider how much money you are protecting with these big calls. Just because top pair top kicker is a strong hand it doesnt mean its worth calling for 10 to 1. Like if you only have a dollar in the pot when the flop comes and you end up calling off 15 dollars you are giving your opponent 15 to 1 for their inital investment. meaning top pair is likely not good at all. people dont make overbet bluffs nearly as much as you think. 9 times out of 10 they will have it. that is the main mistake I see you making. you call off with pairs too often. The way you should be playing big pair type of hands or top pair hands is based on how much money there is in the pot on the flop. If you have AA and the flop is 22K that is a pretty strong hand. But if you have 100bb stack and there is only 4.5 bb in the pot on the flop and someone in the big blind is leading out you should never raise. And you should consider folding depending on the player just because you only have a few big blinds in the pot. and its unlikely they will just barrel you to try and win those two blinds.
