This is a great way to loosen up a tight table... Like a primer... Do it a few times. Steal blinds. By the time they start calling anything you stop and another will continue your aggression for you... They are tired of losing blinds or folding. Then play tight.
Even them calling your raises is a mistake, because you get to see a flop in position. The real way to combat late position opens is by 3-betting from the blinds.

you aint gonna believe this, but 7 deuce offsuit is me and one of my cousins favorite hand. we were playing some poker, no stakes, and we got the craziest cards. idk why, but our inside joke is just the 7 deuce offsuit.
Then you have me that will limp with kings or aces when I’m first to act before the flop and wait to see if anyone raises pre flop so I can come back over the top
It could also backfire on you by just limping with aces or kings because you will get 5 or 6 people to call which will decrease your chance at winning.
This why when you have nuts you want to raise that way anyone with hand like that folds. Which immediately should reduce the number of players with that combo.
you should research the chances of that hand coming up , most hands people get are trash , you will eat up free blinds doing what hes saying if you play it right , maybe not a hand that band but .
@@UTINNI_36 no because you don't use both hole cards which makes this hand clearly worse. The 2 7 you can connect both cards and board to complete the straight not just 1 of them and the board. that's literally on what I'm trying to get at. Its clearly worse.
@JeanFoutre-yi5us the odds of getting a full house with 7-2 is no different then getting a full house with K-A. The odds of you getting a straight with 7-2 is no more or less than a straight with 9-A. Like Doyle Brunson said- these new kids rely on math too much and don’t look into the other players eyes enough.
@JeanFoutre-yi5us I mean bro I count cards and I can assure you the best way to play poker is starring into the dude you are up against and trying to read him. Calculating odds in poker isn’t very useful. It’s psychological warfare not mathematical warfare.
That crap doesn't always work. You have to have at the very least something in this case a 7-Ace, king queen or jack or an Ace-2 so when you get caught bluffing you dont look like a complete idiot!
