I wish more people would make videos like this, It is not negative but an honest review that can help others who feel the way you do about not being able to fit your phone. It is helpful and could save people a lot of money and trouble if they know the good and the not so good for others. To be honest the bag isn't right for you, the opening will not change no matter how long you use it and keep it . I would sell it and maybe try a bigger one like this that might fit your phone. But before you buy maybe ask others with the bag if they can easily fit their phone in and get it out. That would save you time and money in buying another one.

The only honest review about this bag. I bought it a few month ago, and initiated the return process in the same day as I received it. I dont want those RU-vidrs who are sponsored by Polene any more

I’m looking to buy this bag for all the same reasons you mentioned! I’m a small bag kinda girl so I think the opening wouldn’t be a problem personally- just to share, I use a phone chain that is directly attached to my phone (and can be detached) which makes it super convenient for me especially when I travel! My bag then is for my other daily essentials, but those aren’t the type I need to be fishing out every now and then like my phone. Hope this little tip helps as I would want to keep the beauty that is the Neuf mini ❤

I have this bag, in the exact same color too. Love how it looks, very unique. I’ve only used it twice, for a special occasion. I agree with you, the opening is very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I new.

I have the bigger size neuf and Love it❤ I want to decide of the mini too, she is so cute😊but for the small opening… I think now no. My dix is small too, but Love it so far…Go with neuf regular, you will Love it so much 😊

I bought the mini and the regular size as well. The small opening is also a problem on the regular size. I ended up selling the regular size, cause although there’s a lot of space inside, you can’t get things through the opening 😭 My mini is also in chalk color, and i agree with you, it’s beautiful and I wear it a lot, buuuuuuuuut, I’ve noticed scratches and the color coming off in the corners. Same problem with other Polene bags I own, which is so disappointing.

That is a bummer.😔 I had the same problem with the Sept Mini. Aw well, we can't get it right 100% of the time. I personally considered buying a Samsung Z-Flip for a smaller sized phone but chickened out. Can't ever fathom spending that much on a gadgety purchase! Thanks for your review. I have been debating on this bag. I love the look but I need the bag to be practical. I keep my phone in my purse. If they made it a bit longer and wide but not as much with the big version which is bigger than I would like. If you spend money a bag, it should never annoy you. You could just sell it and let someone else enjoy it. ….someone who may not put their phone in it every often or at all.

I have the iPhone 12 and it says the 11 is just a bit bigger than mine so that interesting that you were having issues with getting the phone out. I can definitely see why that would be annoying. The opening doesn’t seem that bad but I think it depends on the person and how u use it. This bag is the next Polene bag I want so I’ll have to test it out for myself and see. Tfs your thoughts 😊

I have the medium No. 9. I agree with you on a lot of your feedback. I bought mine on a whim because it is such a unique style. However, the bag is impractical. Specifically, the opening is a challenge just like it is with the small bag. In addition, I can’t figure out where it fits in my wardrobe. It’s too big for an evening bag and for many day purposes as well; and, it’s too fancy for running errands. I don’t want it to sit in my closet and get no use, so I force myself to use it for occasions where other bags would be more appropriate, which frustrates me. All in all, I don’t enjoy this bag like I do my others.

I love this bag and have it in both this size which I use almost everyday and the larger which is, in my opinion too big. But I guess it comes down to the size of your hand. This is my travel bag too since only my hand will fit 😊 - I can fit 3 passports, my lipstick/ makeup pouch, money purse, tissue, iPods and extra charger comfortably.

I feel the same way with my Coach Pillow Tabby 18 in gold 🤣😂 too small!!

I was considering buying the mini one, therefore I was looking for videos to get a better idea of the bag. The reason why I want the mini is because of the look. It's cute. Especially yours is pretty. To me it looke like a dumpling, haha. I have the regular size one and it's no problem to get or put your stuff out or into the bag. But in real like the bag doesn't look huge. I don't know why, but when I see others holding/wearing it in their videos it looks like a shopper. No matter what size that person is. For example the Numero Sept looks big in my opinion, but it's almost as small as the Numero Un Nano. I have both. I was surprised, because both looks so different in videos. But I have never seen one person showing both (at the same time). So maybe the regular size could be for you. Because it's not that much bigger I think. The style in combination with size doesn't look that good as a crossbody bag. I prefer wearing bags crossbody and that's another reason why I was considering the mini. But if that isn't an issue for you then I would think about selling the mini and get the regular size in your case. I wish they would have those buttons on the side like in the Numero Un. It might help with the access to one's content.

I would buy a normal size if you like the style . I have it in Chalk also and have no problem. Mini I always knew would be not practical and it looks good only on tiny girls.❤😊

I totally agree with you. I bought it a few weeks ago but returned it because of the opening. I couldn't fit my sunglasses case and I cannot live without them. Therefore I returned it and bought the regular size, that is PRACTICAL!! not the mini

I understand your dilemma. Half of the experience in using a handbag is that if it’s easy to access you will use it more. It will bring you joy. If it’s an everyday bag it has to be user friendly. I do think it’s very cute, but not the bag I would take to the grocery store.

I love the look of this bag but I know I dislike the opening (such a shame because the capacity should've been decent) But still, I bought a Loewe mini puzzle knowing that it has a small opening as well. Trying to use it as my everyday bag now but getting my phone and wallet is soooo annoying. I still love this Polene mini neuf but I definitely won't make the same mistake. 1 sacrifice is enough 😂

But you can open the side clasp right? There is a clasp on the side. Like the nano right? 😭😭😭 but if you can get to your phone I understand. I guess it’s a no for me too. 😭😭😭

But the bigger one .. also a problem. Cuz i thought the size of the bigger Neuf bag is perfect for my Samsung Tab. the bottom seems like it would fit anything, but the opening of the bag oh my God..i cant put my Tab. the size of my Tab is just smaller than the bag, but the design really make everything super difficult to put stuff.

This has nothing to do with the bag but with the person who bought it. With all the respect but it quite obvious that this bag is not made to pull in and out easily stuff. It is obvious just by looking at the model or unboxing video not to mention if you could check in person. I am puzzled how some take decisions to buy and than share😂. Quite funny. I do not own this model exactly for easy access aspect. And i dont think you need 6 months to discover. If I am the go I use No. 10. I am not the type to want to carrry lots of stuff when I pick a small bag and I dont mind the zipper. If I am running errands and Ineed bit more stuff with me I am using Umi. And if I dont need to get in and out that much I use Une nano or big no.7. These 2 I find less comfortable for me If I want to keep take stuff in or out. I like all but it is about what I need with me and how many times I need to access the stuff if the bag

The bag is super cute but I could tell just by looking at it that the opening is way too small to be practical.

regardless of your feeling regarding their quality, i have read several places Polene has fallen off and something has def changed with their quality, very recently.

Keep it to use it for special occasions. If you said you already been eyeing this, there’s so many reviews saying the opening is small. So it’s hard for me to believe that you don’t know that already and that you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into. It’s the unique style and design makes this bag special as no other brand does this. At the end of the day if it bothers you so much then just sell it to fund a new bag that you love I don’t think any bag is perfect. Too small, too big, too heavy, strap length, no pockets for my phone on the outside.

Unfortunately I do not have a solution to your problem 😕 I think in the long run you might have to consider letting go of it, if you don’t wear it.

So most certainly you are not buying as an informed consumer because there is tons od videos on RU-vid of people that hate the entrance of the bag. I have mines in the very same color you do i knew the entrance was going to be an annoyance from the moment i order it but its cute enough im willing to over look that and same goes here if you had alreday heard the entrance was fussy why would you even give the bag a chance if you already know you like practical bags ? Just get the pochette metis and be happy with that literally the most practical bag ever made as i own it myself sure its expensive but your out here buying contemporary pieces that dont work for your life style just my opinion.

I saw your video before checking out on this one, now I’m thinking twice about it… But its really hard for me coz I’m looking for a reasonably sized bag with a crossbody strap. Turned out it’s very hard to find a bag like this because most usable bags are too bulky for crossbody and crossbody bags are usually small (in order to look good), and for a second it seemed a good choice 🥲
