@@keelangrand2882 Well the swiss military command had some sympathy for the germans,mainly because they feared a socialist revolt and the general was married to a distant relative of Otto von Bismarck. Everyone else - the government, the common soldier and the non-german speaking parts of the country - not so much.

Realistically, either someone would draw a gun and shoot the Roman Empire ball, because those countries have guns, the SPQR only lived up to a point of swords and bows. Alternativly, Britain (and maybe Germany, not sure) would d probably bully SPQR ball into submission, because his/their empires were bigger.

I like how there was actually proof throughout the series pointing to the shadow gut being the roman empire. We saw Greece being taken, and probably Spain and France. All 3 of those country had some of their modern day borders as part of the roman empire. We can tell from its size that it must be big, like the roman empire. And guess who is on their side early on? Yep, Italy. The country most associated with the Romans.
