Oh my goodness, my mother was born on Barter Island in 1934.I'm in awe of the place where she was born, I've never seen pictures of where she was from, but now with internet all is at your fingertips.Just so happy I saw this clip.
risk sikrikak That's really awesome. I'm glad you got to see it too. I was born and raised in Alaska. Northpole is where I went to high school. You should go if you never have? What a nice story you shared, I'm glad you got to see. Be blessed.
@@sonyagriffy that’s awesome. You went to high school at the North Pole. That’s an absolutely amazing thing to be able to tell your children. Santa was my 9th grade science teacher. Hahah. Awesome.
People are just acting like these bears aren’t dangerous. For this species we are also prey. They are by far worse than grizzly bears when it comes to human interaction.
To a Polar Bear humans are just odd looking seals. Polar Bears attack humans without any fear. They are the most fearless and dangerous animals on earth.
Polar Bears Won't fight Grizzly Bears, Grizzly is the real KING on land..Grizzly is like ANGRY HULK..very aggressive..longer claws..bad temperment...vicious and nasty..rips a Polar bear to shreads...Polar bear will run for cover...its been documented Polar Bears also fear 🐺 wolf packs...wolf packs WILL EAT a Polar bear esp polar bear cubs...An Orca (Shamu) will drown a Polar bear in minutes...he isn't the real king....
That’s a solid idea. I mean yea their shooting the animal, tagging it etc… least they can do is wait on his wake up and drop him some dinner he doesn’t have to work for. Kind of a traumatic experience for the bear.
@@showme360 Poor Ken. Polar Bears are doing what Polar Bears do, now I know Mankind had done some Great Things, But I'm pretty Sure that the Polar Bear is the work of God, not mankind.
I would never want to venture out onto the icy landscapes alone with the chances of stumbling onto a polar bear or possibly into their den which you can't see.
Amen! Do these folks have any clue what these powerful creatures are capable of?! Yes, they're beautiful and amazing...and I'm content viewing through a screen!
@@DivaInTheWoods , Prisoner Zero, Kali Kiel, that's why they go out with a guide--so it's safe. It's just like going to McNeill Falls in Alaska. You go with a park ranger there, who has a gun, in case it's needed. You get a briefing beforehand, nevertheless, and you climb to a safe viewing platform with a locked gate at the top, where the pix are taken. It's a good precaution for anyone, but especially for the great majority of visitors whose idea of seeing wild animals is squirrels in the city park. Going or not is anyone's decision, but it can be done safely. It also avoids idiotic scenes like people walking up to within 10 feet of an elk in order to get a great picture, and wonder why they get tossed 10 feet in the air.
Aren't they the least bit nervous about the bear waking up? I would be afraid of how strong that tranquilizer would be with the size of that animal and how long he would be passed out like that.
My first time camping we had really bad experience.Because a bear popped up looking for our food.We had couple hands gun and the bear ran off but that experience away stuck with me.
Of course these misleading reporters go to the Arctic in the summer. Because that is literally the only season that the ice and snow melts. fits their agenda and what they want to show to the world. But Go to that same spot in the winter and film, well it might show something a little bit contrary to their agenda.
@@tracytrunn5625 , yes, it was, as was the trip getting there. I drove from home in northern IL to The Pas, Manitoba, Canada, where I caught the train to the tundra town of Churchill, which has the train as its only access to the rest of the world, and located on Hudson Bay. We went out on what resemble monster buses with the huge tundra tires, so that the polar bears standing on their hind feet against the tundra buggy were only seen from the neck up. The tour out there was several hours, during which we must have seen at least 15 of them. The season is in October.
they do, according to people that have seen the encounters, they'll either fight or just avoid each-other than fight, or are just indifferent if they see each-other
They dont use satellite communications they use ground based radios and the geographic location they lose the signal from Fairbanks, Alaska heading to Phrudoe Bay, AK and regain the signal when they get near enough to Phrudoe again
Can you imagine if tranquilizing polar bears was your day to day job? I imagineer must get monotonous at times like all jobs but damn I just can’t fathom it.
Remember, if a polar bear tries to kill you, you can always say "хороший мальчик" and give him something to eat, the you say "Все, до свидания" and he leaves. You can even boop his snoot while he's eating, as seen on watch?v=30xDh8xUQGQ . What? You think polar bears don't understand Russian? Well, let me be absolutely clear here: IF a polar bear is already trying to kill you, you do not have many options. So you can just as well try to speak Russian.
Hey Mikey, it's propaganda. Polar bears are thriving better than humans and conditions have never been better. Eat your cereal and go out and play................
man will have to feed the bears or they will all starve of hunger.you do not want to make them dependant on humans for food but they will all die if we do not help them. tam
This village well ask kindly not to film if you don't comply you well be force on a plane and be sent out, it is their wish to be left alone for the whale hunts, can look up Jim Shockey he was aloud to film in another village on Alaska Northwest coast in the spring, and Kiliii Yuyan in the northern most town as well
Hailey Q There are always outliers in weather, on the flip side to this while I was living in Florida it snowed. But because that happens every now and then does that mean Florida is going to become the next Antarctica? Of course not.
@@rolledsocks5167 climate change is very real thing, arctic seas have been melting...and polar bears cant hunt because of this anymore...and they just starve to death...it is very sad actually, they need to hunt because if they dont have fat in this climate then this happens: www.upsocl.com/verde/estos-son-los-paises-mas-proclives-a-no-sobrevivir-al-cambio-climatico-ee-uu-no-integra-la-lista/ it is very scary :S:S you know that polar bear numbers are going down also...it is now considered as "vulnerable", I am sorry for my bad english butpeople need to wake up... I have been to arctic , it is ery sad to watch that everything is melting , soon we maybe dont have polar bears anymore because they jsut dont have any food anymore....ofcourse it is more simple to make face that everything is okay.... but is it really soo hard for people to care about nature?
Hailey Q I’m not saying climate change isn’t real the climate is and has been ever changing. What I’m saying is that saying it rained in north Finland in December isn’t really good proof.
@@rolledsocks5167 its called sarcasm... I was just amazed to see how many people think that climate change is somekind of joke, and that polar bear numbers are increasing... yeah we have right now in here -30c but climate change is not only this that how cold is outside...there are soo many factors that do this.. and as a fan of wildlife and person from northern europe ...in here everybody knows these things ...its just mind blowing that somewhere people sill think that its something that is not happening
Their population is momentarily increasing due to the hunt restrictions. Eventually, it's population will deeply drop due to the lack of hunting grounds. They are going more and more south in search of food. There is your evidence.
Fabian Placencia That’s not totally accurate. Populations no doubt have increased partly due to hunting restrictions, but what latest research is showing is polar bears are incredibly resilient and adaptable... I mean that is how they became polar bears in the first place, they evolved from Brown Bears as they were forced to adapt to the ever changing climate which brought upon ice ages.
They are adapting because the ice cap is disappearing, not because of an evolutionary process. They are migrating south because they can't find food. That`s why the video is showing bears in the village.
Fabian Placencia they’re a subspecies of different types of bears so I’m sure they can adapt without ice since they’re natural predators they can catch fish I’m sure of it
They will enter in conflict with human settlements or other predators (other bears) evolution and adaptation is a slow process. We humans are the main cause of extinction. This is just antoher example.
Uh huh. I remember turning 10 in 1978 and hearing the older folk trash talking those who expressed concerns about long term environmental impacts. Perhaps Baby Boomers should quit wasting time making sanctimonious memes about the “good ole days” and start working at undoing the effects of everything their generation did
I get that they have their place in the food chain. But... Should we really be trying to save them? With the climate changing so drastically, maybe it's best to let natural selection do its thing.
Blame mankind for destroying the Earth, at some point someday planet Earth when no longer be here, none scientist or religion could stop what's coming,
i wish all these people who believe climate change is fake news would watch videos like this, very sad, but it is interesting that whalers are the people here, who are among those on the front line of this crisis in Alaska and I doubt many people could accuse them of being "lefty snowflakes", but they are seeing the affects for themselves.
The Bible says in the last days and in the Tribulation, animals will lose their fear of humans - and will start attacking them. Whilst that's not the same as walking in the bush with wild animals everywhere - you probably will be attacked - animals will move more and more into inhabited areas and attack humans. When Adam and Eve were created, God gave them dominion over everything - but humans were supposed to take care of the earth, seas - and animals, sea and earth and skies. As the Tribulation begins and moves forward - much of creation will die, including animals and sea creatures. And the animals will lose all fear of humans.
the bible was written by MAN. where'd "they" get the data on that? and was it credible? and which bible you talking about? some animals do not fear humans such as the Orca... the TOP predator on the planet (besides us) may be why. we're small and smart they're big and smart. somehow I do not see Orca's attacking us though I think this Tribulation you speak of is all wet to be perfectly honest about it. there's also been several HUGE die-offs in the past. HUGE! and guess what if it CAN happen it WILL happen! but "tribulation" has got nothing to do with it.
Lee Cowell Wronnmggg! Bible prophesy that was written thousands of years ago is coming to pass!! Men who knew Jesus, his disciples wrote the Bible books and others who wrote down what the Holy Spirit showed them to write. I bet you read books and believe them?! Written by humans! The world is getting more and more wicked! Just as in the days of Noah - the people mocked - it took him and his sons a few hundred years to build the Ark! It had never rained - there was only mist - then it began to rain. There are MORE wars happening worldwide than ever before. Floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, storms, snow getting much worse. Cracks in the earth, sinkholes, signs in the heavens (skies) all prophesied. Strange noises like trumpets?! Look it up yourself!
Lee Cowell AND the Bible says there will be an increase in technology like never before! Think 5G which is designed to kill us! Forced vaccines! Agenda 21 to depopulate the world - Bill Gates is wicked with his vaccines! Smart cities for humans to live in tiny homes with total surveillance. 5G gives you cancer, cooks you from the inside! Nose bleeds, headaches etc etc Yes some animals will kill out of instinct - but that's if you go into their 'space' - sharks don't jump onto the beach and kill people. The sea creatures will die, land creatures will die, Millions of humans will die. Huge parts of the earth destroyed. Wormwood will hit the earth and make all fresh water bitter and make people sick. ALL in the tribulation! The anti Christ will force everyone to take a mark in their forehead or right hand. It will then break out in terrible sores. Have you seen the plague of locusts in Egypt and Mecca recently?? All prophesied 'clever clogs' - you ain't so clever!!
This is already well documented and covered, YET still more people are going out there emitting more emmisions to prove emmisions are causing this problem! Perhaps you should work out how much CO2 you have emmitted to make this report!!...contributing to the bears demise!
LEAVE THOSE POLAR BEARS ALONE ...If I had to do your job I would come prepared with a big leg of karabu or a Seal, so when the bear wakes up he or she will have a NICE MEAL. THAT'S A NICE WAY TO THANK THE POLAR BEAR for LETTING you guys mess around with his or her body I know you guys are doing it for studies.. About giving back something in return🤔😒😐
Those bears will eat you, they're natures clean up crew. Scientist drugging bears for a paycheck seems excessive. This sounds like a make a wish foundation adventure
one thinmg i allways belived is yea u soo good helping the wild animals ,. but thats not natural for a wild animal to get druged , i dont know whatt to belive if thats even good for them, just let them be
