This is very neat. Does a lot of what the Rubberneck does, but in a much smaller package and you can turn the knobs past noon without it getting out of control.

@@nicknovak7112 the fx loop? Yeah, I don't use mine on it because I found a lot of the effects I put in it just overpowered the delay and sent it into oscillation. Plus, I kinda just like the stock modulation. I tend to use the fx loop in my reverb a lot though.

I bought the FreqOut by DigiTech and leave it in the effects loop constantly and it is a real secret weapon but I can't imagine putting anything too strong which leaves some light modulation effects and it already does that well so I understand your point of view. The real takeaway from my comment I suppose is normalize effects loops on pedals, they are dope!

@@nicknovak7112 if i could double like that comment, I would. Yeah, the freqout is actually on my short list of pedals to buy. I really like the weird overtones it causes on clean sounds and the sustainer effects it can do.

@@buffalothebison4850 honestly I was surprised I picked it up, it took about an hour to dial it in but it is very tasteful. I haven't found any feedback controller that is as useful on guitar!

First! 😉 Man, this thing is just incredible. Mine should be here by the time I've finished this comment! That latching, second delay set to rapid oscillation at about 10:50 sounded really inspiring. I was initially wondering if I'd be able to find a place for this pedal on my main board with my DD-8, Rubberneck, DigiDelay, MultiStomps and Particle already covering my delay needs incredibly well. However, now I'm 100% certain it's going on there! Ha ha! Fantastic demo, mate. Nice job. 👍

Love the VCR mode 5:30. Am I right to say the small knobs and switches don’t affect the normal delay, only on the second switch. And the second switch cannot be latched? I’d love the vcr effects randomized to my delays.

Yeah, you're right. Because the way it works is actually by manipulating the delay time, so it can't be constantly "rewinding" the delay time or it'll eventually get to the end of the delay time the pedals capable of doing. But you have that release knob which is nice for having sustained effects behind your playing, like in the last clip

why does the level have to be turned all the way up? it must not be very noticeable or loud with it any lower than full volume.

The level is the level of the delay, so I have it up to be fully noticeable in the video. Of course you can turn it down for more subtle settings

@@collectoremitter fantastic pedal, but it is truly sad that 100% delay level seems to be a mere 50% mix. There are countless applications for above 50% delay level and several even at 100% wet. I do not understand why so many delays aren't designed to sweep 100% dry to 100% wet. I guess I have been spoiled by the old EHX DMM.

Kind of an interesting twist on something like the modern classic Demedash T-120.

Not exactly, both do the VHS delay thing but very differently. T-120 does it with the delay's eq and regular modulation, and this does it by really manipulating the delay time for that pitch shifting or bending

I know it's hard to see the small knobs, but if you turn up your screen brightness a lot you can see where they're pointing. The big thing is the release knob is set fairly high, at around 3 oclock

Thanks so much! And no, I just play each part however many times I need for each section. I know other demoers use loops, but this makes the most sense to me
