Nice to see um at least get a yard rip!!!!! I hate to keep pestering you about this but please build project "$$$ pit" (1200 triple) lol maby viewers will donate toward it.
I can’t believe how this winter has been. I live in Buffalo NY and we’ve basically had no snow all winter. We actually traveled 3 hours away today to get our first ride of the season in. Unbelievable. But hey, great content anyway, keep ‘em comin!
At least you get the heavy LES from lk onartio, being in Michigan our lovely peninsula we have gotten zip for wintering the south east portion. Couldn't really go to the yoop until just recently
Worst winter i ever remember here in upstate NY. I remember hunting seasons with more cold more snow lol!! That 91 RXL reminds me of the days we had winters that lasted forever. Will we ever have winters like the ones when i was a child idk. Great stuff thanks for sharing
@@toddclyne3493 i remember those those days but been a long time now since we even had riding in march. Id love to move somewhere with longer winters but wife doesn’t want to lol!! Going riding tomorrow probably be our last day of the season. Be my 5th ride if the season maybe few hundred miles for the year. Use to put on 2000 or better in the 90’s early 2000’s. Did get 1300 on last winter only because of a 31/2 foot dumping rode every day for a week then it melted. Along with a few times i went north that was my season. Cant wait till next winter already pray we have a good one finally. Love seeing ur fleet of sleds brings back great memories of my past.
Man they look so much better on! Hey my triple loving friend,I think we are getting the same snow today. It's gonna be mid 40s by Wednesday 😕we loose it as quick as we get it.
In 2002 I was riding my 99 polaris xc 600. I broke my arm on that ride lol and didn't ride again until last year when I bought a 2021 Polaris assault 850. Damn snowmobiles have changed in 2 decades. Then the assault was stolen from me.
Hey Todd, Neil severy here! I’m up in Maine! I love your content. Indy trips are bad ass sleds! I been watching your channel now for awhile! Trying to catch up on your builds over the last 5 or 6 years lol! I currently run an 03 firecat F7! But I love the wedge trips!!! I’m still kicking myself in the ass cause 4 winters ago I sold my 95 Xlt which had a 97 ultra 700 in it! Well I mean 680 lol! Anyway thing was mint really good shape but my dumb ass sold it!! But anyway money is tight but I will get another Indy!! I do have to apologize because I haven’t subscribed yet to your channel! But I’m doing that rite now bro!! I love your content and all your builds! Keep building bro!! I would love to come meet you someday I love what you and trent do! And your boy is lucky to have you as a dad your awesome man! Cheers
lol there isn’t much free in life anymore lol!!! But I’m glad I found your channel! And nutter too love his channel as well!! I’ll be ordering some merch too! Hey what’s the chances of you making a trash can for my F7? If I sent you my stock piece??? I have a mbrp can on it but it’s not loud enough lol!! But I am looking for twin pipes for it tho so that would need a two into one can?? Just thinking out loud! Thanks Todd!!!
I remember converting RXL's over to carbs at the dealer back then. EFI wasn't a very good system. But I now days would keep it original with EFI as the purist in me says it should stay that way! 😀
That Ultra shredded some snow. RXLs sound really triplish..screamers. The heavier rider got better traction I did notice. Love Polaris triples. ( Especially the XCR 800.) Your site is a favorite, Todd. Thank you for giving us a last rip before warmer weather.
They all sound and look awesome especially the 91 RXL. Someone is going to have to reseed a lawn in the spring time but well worth the fun you are having now.
Great video Todd! Nice to see and hear the sleds rippin! They all sound amazing!! Not sure what that white stuff was you guys were riding on? Haven’t seen much of it this year lol 🙄 Tell Trenton to forget about the lawnmower for awhile! Haha Cheers 🍻
Today Feb 18th we got over 8 inches of snow in northern New York I'm like 3 min away from the Canadian border it a city called ogdensburg they ride mostly ski-doo here but u do see some Polaris sleds about the same amount as ski-doo do really see that many Yamaha s or arctic cat here
I would but I ride my 97 Mach Z around in my yard that's the only sled I have I sold my 95 Mach 1 670 over 10 yrs ago to support my drag sled build 2000 Mach Z
Trent appears to be gingerly on sled's vs other rider. Ultra does sound alot louder than XLT. Look's like the longer track or SKS seem's to better vs 121. Those two stock RXL's sound pretty sweet also. That RXL blue or classic blue back in the day, everybody had to have one.
I am from Saginaw Michigan this one of the worst winters ever …. I currently own a 2002 600zr haven’t even went through a whole tank of gas this year …
Love the triple of course. However I own a 1999 xcr 800 that is a cherry! Bone stock. I know you have a few of them also. Can’t wait to see you guys do a project/build on one of them. A little surprised you haven’t yet cause it is one of the best motors Polaris ever put in a sled hands down. Torque monster. Love those 650s also. Keep it up man!!
It’s so strange to see these sleds now. I remember when they were brand new tech with what was considered long travel state of the art muscle sleds. I remember thinking.. well they can’t get any more advanced than this. Welp... look at the bee 2024 sleds. More advanced or not I think they are ugly now. I will take the style and sound and fun geometry of these old classics muscle sleds any day.
If the sliders are staying wet, there's enough snow to ride snowmobile. I'd kill to have that kind of snow here in Vermont right now. To ride and you guys aren't gonna ride. Oh I think somebody's a little spoiled their todd
Hey Todd was wondering if your seat cover guy has a face book or a way to talk to him I just picked up a 1995 polaris xcr 440 red rocket and was wondering if I could get the seat redone on it plz let me know thanks
I would say that the XLT is alot lighter vs the XCR had heavy torsion bar up front. seat and tank two piece came with a skid plate tunnel protectors fox shocks and different suspension vs the XLT. there was a XLT special that had Fox shocks
Well it would depend on year of XLT, 93,94 they were 579cc 1995 they became 597cc. but the long travel suspension slowed them down from what I remember. (I was Polaris technician from 1995 to 1999) watching these videos brings back a lot of nostalgia, The traditional Indy is still my favorite looking sled! as for what I rode personally back then, I had a 1993 XLT Special and 1993 XCR 440. I obviously got to ride most every model Polaris made up to that timeframe though :)
