Great vid. Doing ANY work on a Polaris is easier than a Ski Doo! Night and day. The Axys sleds before them were just as easy. Another trick is to use a fluid extractor to get (most of) the chain case fluid out so it doesn't go everywhere when you crack that open.
Great video Jesse, used it for reference on an in progress track swap on my 22 XCR 850. Had an issue removing a couple of the 6 bolts on the clutch side that holds the drive shaft bearing, 2 of the rivets nets or cinch nuts started turning and with lock tire, couldn’t remove the bolts, had to cut the bolts. Waiting for parts now. My question is, do you know how to re-tighten those cinch nuts in the tunnel, or can they be removed and a standard bolt/nut put in there. I’m sure Bruce must have come across this issue before?
Hey man first off I appreciate the support and you watching. As far as your question and dont take this the wrong way ( I do not have any anger behind It) but I am not here for the warranty. I will have this sled for a year and then Itll be traded in. I have full faith that my sled will last a years and have no issues. Could I be wrong 100% but anything can happen!
@@JESSEJAMES322 Not bad. I live in and ride in Michigan. Our cabin is 1.25 hours away and get decent riding there a few times a year. Otherwise we just ride in the U.P. of Michigan. Usually 6 plus hours.
@@JESSEJAMES322 you were correct with Avid. When your on their website, they offer 4 driver options for Polaris. But all of them say you need to cut the rails back to make the driver fit. True? Are you planning on doing that?
