i was crew member for buddy that raced tunnel boats, zero to 105 in 6 seconds, that was with 120 C.I stock merc V 6. i can imagine what it's like in this boat, glad i was just crew
Great explanation maybe you can help with the knowledge you have bruce. Why do the new clutches especially for side by sides not have deflection adjustments? The16 to current 1000 series ome with 100hp clunk on engagement what can be done to correct it?
they dont have a deflection bolt because there is a bearing in the center of the primary which allows the belt to be as tight as possible all the time. look at more recent videos we actually touch on this topic again and show the new style clutches. the clunking i am unsure about it and would be tough to diagnose over the interweb!
Hey Jessie, I ordered a 9r assault but I’m strongly considering switching my order to the red and blue xcr 136. I live and ride in Vermont so I think that’s the better choice I e just always wanted to try the assault. My concern with this particular xcr is it has the 1.35 cobra. I’ve always ran taller lug tracks. What’s your opinion on this track, which track would you choose and what stud set up would you suggest? Thanks a lot big fan of you and Bruce keep it up!
I only ride with the 1.3 cobra. to me its the best all around track for trail riding. With a 9R you could run 3 studs per row. I would recommend the 1.45 Woodys studs (any model). i run the triggers. But totally up to you! Appreciate the support!
i did this swap on my 23 vr1boost. with the oem springs to support my 230lbs i had to be on setting 4 [highest setting]. when i swapped to the new hd springs without changing anything else, the same feeling for me was on setting 1. so i now have 3 more settings if need be. not sure they are worth $500 but they fixed my weight issue. now it feels the exact same as before but on setting 1 vs 4

We raced against your father and crew in the early 90s - I was in my early 20's and running with the Lauers in Kamikaze A-33. Duces was always a fast boat! The Spectre looks great!
Hi Jessie hope your summer is going good! I'm re- watching this video because I'm a heavier guy and I have a19 indy xc and want to try the long tail spring you guys are talking about. The polaris website states that it won't fit my sled?? Help!
Hey Dale. All is well here. Call SouthSide. They will walk you through it. They dont make them for your sled but they will fit. Call and they will help ya out!
Hey Rob. thanks for following along. with your current weight we would really like to valve your shocks all around and make some spring changes. That's to get optimal performance out of your sled and get it riding and handling the best it can. These sleds are set up for 180 pound guys stock so with your weight it would take some work. Any questions let me know!
@@JESSEJAMES322 Thanks for getting back to me. I was thinking to order the sled with the rear torsion spring kit Heavy Duty for my weight. could I send all of the shocks down to south side so Bruce can work his magic?
Maybe post some waterskip races "back east" this summer? Grantsburg, WI is just around the corner, along with shorter days. There is something about a fast sled across the water that gives me goosebumps.
@@JESSEJAMES322 ok so that makes me wonder about the bore and stroke difference between the 600XC vs 600R if the AxysR is a lot more wild over the other.
