The 2019 Sportsman 450 H.O. (High-Output) is powered by the ProStar 500 fuel-injected, liquid-cooled SOHC engine displacing 500cc and producing 33-horsepower. While the 450 models sits on the same chassis as the Sportsman 570, smaller 24" tires provide a lower overall stance and only 0.5" less ground clearance.
For comfort and convenience, the Sportsman 450 features a front storage area located under the hinged front rack cover as well as a rear-mounted glove box. The new digital gauge cluster, borrowed from the Sportsman XP, is easy to read with large digital readout and configurable to allow the rider to see exactly what he or she prefers. The backlighting on the digital display can be dimmed and re-colored depending on rider preference.
Polaris is a leader in accessory integrated and the Sportsman 450 H.O. benefits. All Sportsman models are pre-wired for the available Polaris HD and PRO HD winch kits, making install a breeze. Lastly, the Sportsman 450's frame features an integrated plow mount. When installing a Polaris Glacier or Glacier PRO plow system, no additional mounts are needed on the machine. Simply assemble the plow kit and it is ready to hook up in one step.
