I can appreciate that ride 100% for someone that would get use for it just not for me and what i like to do but, i totally dig it very attractive ppl kill me comparing to a jeep there different in a lot of ways.
No Reason to not just get a Jeep, Bronco, or 4Runner at that price point. Just put a little bit of money into their suspensions, and the ride is probably comparable, with about 10x the resale value.
At that price point in a Jeep , Bronco, or 4Runner you wouldn't get close to the same features. That is if they even sell a stripped down one. This is stock with all the hop ups you would want from day one. You may change the tires of course.
@@Jay-it3ze Don't get me wrong. We have a sxs, but we only paid 14k for it. It does better offroad than a jeep at speed, but a jeep does better at rock crawling type stuff. Their are expensive sxs that are worth it for their price tag. The mav r is very expensive yet to touch that performance in another offroad vehicle you would spend a lot more. This polaris wannabe jeep is just bad in all regards IMHO. Maybe it is perfect for someone, but I don't seem room for it in our fleet.
I guess I hit it lucky just got a ADV 5 Ultimate with front, rear and side glass factory heat and side mirrors for 31k out the door. Granted no AC but huge price difference. Even though I have the money to spend, if the deal I got didn’t happen would have ever purchased one. My plan when I walked in dealer was a 25 commander max XTP.
Congrats! I didn’t realize the Ultimate didn’t have the AC? How else does it differ? These things are sweet. I can drive it on the street here in Idaho.
Their is no value based math equation that could put a price tag of 46k on this. Based on other substitutions of new and used off road vehicles I would think 28k to 32k a competitive value.....you'd have to be someone who is a) have f7ck you money or low iQ debt acquiring fool(make 100k plus and living paycheck to paycheck)
Id rather buy an actual suv for that money, and have enough left over for a few 570's. I actually love the concept but these prices are insane, and that goes for utv's in general. At least at that price their won't be too many clogging up the trails.
@@wraith511802003 On that we agree, there is no comparison. I paid $32k for my PRO 4X Titan and I can use that for way more than you could paying $50k for this thing. To me that's a lot of money for a 1 trick pony, even though that trick is admittedly pretty cool.
It’s cool as heck, and that’s about it. I can’t plate that in my state, Polaris put top speed at 48? it noisy as hell, can’t really carry much (I think she said 1100lbs?) the ac only has a couple vents up front, what’s the catch? At $20k I’d consider it but I just can’t see the value. Not knocking them for building it or anyone who buys it, Polaris is trying it’s best to stay ahead of the game and I like that they always come up with something new, something nobody else is even looking at, for them it’ll bring people to the dealership, they’re getting mad publicity and deserve it. For me? I don’t know where it would even fit, like what would I use it for. What would it replace, what would make anyone clear up some room in the toy shed to get this? Other than “I got the new expedition!” For bragging rights maybe? But most would just look at ya like your a dumbass for buying it.
Cab noise is annoying. I’d bet that it is due to the cargo area being integrated into the cab. A rubber mat on the bed floor would probably make a big difference. Biggest negative to me is that the price is dang near in the Ford Bronco range.
I love my sxs I have put 13k miles on it since 2015 but these manufactures have priced their products out of the range of a blue-collar worker, making under 100k a year. We are moving to a future where we will have only 2 classes of people and that’s rich and poor. The middle class I am in is disappearing.
We have a pro R 4 seater and the expedition my pro R has 400 miles and our expedition has a bout 800 our expedition is a year old our pro R is 2 years old if you love to trail ride get the expedition if your a sand and rock person buy the pro R as we get a little older we do a lot more trail riding and less rock crawling love both!
No richies here, haha! We’re just lucky to have had the opportunity to make this video of our friends machine that he worked really hard for. People choose to spend their hard earned money differently.
Thanks for watching! Haha, we are not reviewers by any means, but we hope the general concept and what the Xpedition has to offer was relayed. They’re nice machines, just a bit out of our budget, especially for the type of riding we do.
@@gunguyreviews377 true there are positives/negatives with different types of off road machines. Where I ride this would be great for most the trails. And Comfortable to say the least. And narrow enough for opposite traffic. But there are a lot of obstacles I’d love to hit that I would just have to watch others hit being in an Xpedition. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Would prevent getting crazy and damaging it.
really nice machine...but buying a polaris for that price is absolutely outrageous. If i was ever spending that amount off money on a machine you best believe its gonna be Japanese. This is robbery
It’s only worth it to those who pay that price. Who am I to judge valve. Personally I feel it’s way too much, a new on road vehicle is almost same price. Got to say it sure sweet.
It was significantly louder in the back seat than the front, but dynomat would definitely help reduce some of the engine noise. As far as any other type of noises, rattling, creaks etc, the machine was tight in that aspect with none of that. The JBL system was very impressive, for stock, there was a lot of bass and clarity, so if you wanted to jam out while driving, that would drown out the cab noise too.
Why not just buy a suzuki sidekick or a small suv or pick up modify the crap out of it. With 40.000k you’ll still have some change in the bank. I just don’t see the price tag and can’t make sense of why you’d rather spend it on this
I want ev model like this.. with solar panel roof rack and or fold out solar panles i can set up whilest i am in the hide waiting for my shot or whilst fishing .. I live in sunny South Africa
Yea, my first house was $55k... the three cars i currently own... combined don't even add up to $47k.. your out of your mind paying that much for a toy.
@@wraith511802003 How is there no comparison? A jeep will go anywhere this utv will go and you can drive it to the trail and back and to work on monday. Not to mention how horrible the engine sounds in the cab. It isn't a Pro R, That is a whole different ball game and a jeep does not compare. You have no clue what you are talking about. And yes i own a jeep and a rzr.
@@wraith511802003you keep saying the same thing. This is similar in size to a Jeep and it’s not NEARLY as versatile. The ROI is junk for this UTV. Way too much money.
This has become a status type of buyer. Wealthy won't care about the price. Working people won't be able to afford this price. Middle income people may be able to pay this price. Status people won't care about the price. This limits the group of buyers. Most people who will buy will have. Mortage Automotive payments Children Along with everything else. Add $40,000 to $80,000 Toy a trailer to haul it and the cost to take it to play. That's a huge expense. At $20,000 to $30,000 the buying group was probably 3 times this size. Let's face it very few leave them bone stock. And it's real easy to spend $10.000 in extras.
Totally agree. It’s hard not to spend more in extras when it comes to any Offroad machine. Customizing it and making it your own can become extremely costly, but to each their own in how they spend their money.
I'm gonna wait till Ford And chevrolet and toyota come out with these little truck for ten thousand dollars You could put a lot of money in these little trucks and have a better rig. Than a plastic. Polaris.
Wow that thing is super loud. Rear doors don’t seem to open fully…..way too heavy for trail. I hope Polaris have figured out reliability issues. OMG…turn the music up to drown out the horrible engine sound….that’s a plan. RPM’s seem super high at cruising speed….fuel consumption must be awesome. Huge pass, but nice review.
