I have been fortunate enough to have lived on this planet for 62 years. There is no power on this planet that comes even close to matching the power of a group of human beings in the act of singing.
Many of the best folklore performers in Bulgaria have also sung in the Philip Kutev choir, which is famous as the best national choir. To sing in it is not only a privilege, but also an honor and proof that you can really do it at the highest level. That is why this choir is internationally popular and constantly invited to participate. I bow to these angelic voices of these ladies and wish their lives as easy as this song flows......... What a beauty.
Lyrics: Tudora is lying under a tree, an olive tree. The moutain breeze gently blows and breaks a twig off the olive tree. Tudora is awakened. She is very angry at the breeze that blows tirelessly. "Why are you blowing just now? I was dreaming my first love came, and brought me a small colorful bouquet. He brought me a small bouquet and on it was a gold ring.
C'est sublime, le texte et la partition. Le coeur humain aspire à l'amour pur. Une bague en or, pour toujours ! Merci aux chanteuses, elles sont sublimes!
I've always been in love with this song since the very first moment I listened to it, and with this beautiful choir voices. I purchased Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares as a result. Fantastic voices and special way of singing. By the way, the OST of the picture Ghost in the Shell was based on this folk music group. Marvellous.
Лошото е ,че може и да ви затворим очите с тази музика ! Защото българите са:Пътят,Истината и Живота на тази планета ,ако не сте го разбрали самовлюбени руснаци!
Such a hauntingly beautiful of music, a powerful presence of The Devine Feminine Spirit echoes forth almost heralding her entry back to Her rightful place in the Heavens. As Above So Below.
Yes you get goosebumps listening to it and it enters straight into your soul your heart, very moving, beautiful. A perfect harmony of sounds... love this song, the more you listen to it the happier Bulgarian music makes you/me
THE BEAST BULGARIAN VOICES !!! ENDLESS THANKS for The FANTASTIC MEDITATION WITH Your BEAUTIFUL VOICES !!! Always with a lot of love and light N.Mirkova and all my big family, and all my friends from Bulgaria and all World
One of my favorite songs, though I neither understand the language nor have I ever been to Bulgaria. I found a translation and its a wonderful poetic story. Simply a perfect match. It was used for the film „ Banshees of Inishirin“ to counterpoint the hard life on the imaginary island.
Ray Shorten 8 minutes ago Although I do not actually speak any eastern European language, I learned this song an many others by rote from a sixties group, the Pennywhistlers. I recommend that group to you for more great Balkan music! I used to sing many of these songs to my kids.... it actually got them to sleep!
+rasistefanos1 The song tells a story about a bunch of illegals who swim to England's shores for better life, but instead decide to live off welfare while watching X Factor. Welcome to Stereotype land. :)
