I made a contraption using a 4x4 with two 2x4 on either side that lifted both sides of the connector at once.

Years ago I adjusted a 15" one by bracing my left arm under the rail and locking it with my right arm. I lifted it up and had a bunch of crushing in my shoulder. Your method is 100x smarter.

If that floor jack or 2x4 give way... your going to need a new wife.

After paying to have our land leveled, husband and I had to relevel the whole pool because dude did a terrible job. Thanks to your video, we didn't have to drain it. Thanks so much for the idea!

The same thing just happened to us.. Paid a landscape company to level a 20 foot circle.. It even said level in the contract..We put the pool up last week and it's 4 inches off on one side. So pissed off...

Lesson. Don't cheap out on bricks. Buy Pavers . Also don't let them touch pool and have them flush level with ground.

Releveled my pool twice doing this(going around and adjusting height). This works great. I notched my 2x4 to lock into the joint. Definitely use pavers

Thank you for sharing my husband put sand down leveled the ground it was perfect last summer. However this summer we just refilled it and its unlevel.

My personal experience. Only use leveling sand for the liner not under the legs. Sand is soft. It will cause major settling if put under the legs.

Thank you! Great plan, as i have a couple of sinking legs due to the ground getting wet from the splashing!

Always try to use 12×12 pavers if possible on any type of above ground pool over 10k gallons

I used 6"x6" pavers. So far so good. Second year on the pool.

I did that but the pool nipped the corner of the slab and cut open..

Thanks for your channel. 😊 I really didn't want to drain pool after Rain. Your idea helped me tremendously. A couple of posts had dropped. Thanks again for your help.

Be careful you dont rip your liner with the brick.

I have the same problem. I used sand under my pool and one side sunk within a few months. I'm draining it because my cover ripped last fall so nows the time to level it. I'm gonna get some pavers to do this under 7 of the posts, but I'm worried the pool will contact the pavers and rip. I'm thinking of putting some roofing rubber between the two materials.

Exact same issue I had. We used 6x6 pavers and let the legs sit about 1/4 from the edge of the paver, started filling it up and babysat the legs and adjusted as needed until it got some weight to it.

Honestly I wouldn't use brick because the friction of the pool could tear the lining. We used old tennis shoes on ours and it was great.

Legs to ours sank into the leveling sand. Still think I'll drain mine some before I try this.

Try and remove the sand from under neath the legs. Sand is soft and will cause a lot of sinkage.

You need bigger pavers. Bricks won’t to it. Also before assembly paint every piece of metal with flex paint. Mine rusted out and legs only lasted 3 seasons. You will get wasps making nests in the liner holes. Put dryer sheets in each end. They don’t like the odor and will stay away.

Temporary fix. I did that and 2 months later window started leaking... Which progressively got bad quick Lucky I didn't have a blowout.

Use 1/2 plywood prior to filling pool.....................bricks are too sharp against the liner material.
@joshwithe7468
@joshwithe7468 2 года назад
The bricks don't touch the liner if installed correctly

Actually it's a salt cell, an electric chlorine generator. The pool has salt in it and the cell breaks the salt into chlorine using electricity.

My question is are the legs level (checked with a level) or is this just the relaxed location of the legs?
@pauly0410
@pauly0410 4 года назад
From my personal experience! The legs can be a little unlevel leaning away from the pool a little. But need to be level side to side. It helps the legs from moving around on pavers or blocks as much.
