@@0021hejyeah, it is a bit worrisome. I do wonder if it sets up Polestar for an acquisition. Their market cap seems almost unreasonably low. My outside view is they perhaps have too many models in production which is a bit concerning. Thoughts?
Will trade in my Polestar 2 for this soon I think. Can't wait. Also looks much better when the front logo has an halo effect as Maximilian said. Doesn't look cheap like other illuminated logos!
So as a "designer" myself there are a couple things. 1. Longevity: the Roofline doesnt seem to me like, it would prohibit a normal glass-panel. The Camera is prone to problems. If it doesnt work you wont see anything. Thats not the case with a glass panels. 2. Headlights: i really like the Hammer-design, its such an identifying feature. But the upper part should have just been a line. Without the appendages in the middle. (Maybe move them down beneath, the running light. Would make the bonnet more smooth and calmer. 3 Infotainment: just give the damn user the ability to choose their own lighting (colourwheel) and profiles instead of trying to sell some "bourgeois" options like : Venus, Jungle, Ocean... You have the technology, why limit the user? For the Video: i like the nonchalant vibe, this kinda behind-the-scenes approach. But why act like you dont know the car (i assume you worked on the car in any capacity, because you didnt mention what you worked as. - Always assume your viewer is knowing nothing - ) "bluetooth??" Like yeah thats something so new in 2024!? And the laugh while changing colours, thats normally not how people react, It just seems so forced and out of place.

The Tesla cars have cameras verry low that’s why they dirty all the time. Polestar have the back rear window camera at a good hight so wont be a problem at all
I love that you can change you can change the lights based on planet but you can't put the window all the way down in the back, like gosh darn.. really ?
Volvo/polstar software/hardware infotainment system is garbage. Hope they fixed it in this one. Rear reclining seats and better HP, but a 100kwh battery? Probably 200-230mile range. They seem to always fall short now. Loved my 2012 polstar tuned s60 rdesign. Rented a polstar 2 for a week, 5 out of 10. Bet a better option model would take it to 6 out of 10. But charging speed, range and infotainment system was sub par. Just slow and buggy.
Our cars have been tested in the northern parts of Sweden, and the flush door handles are designed to operate in all types of climates. Additionally, we use E-latch technology, meaning we don't rely on mechanical latches 🙌
@@PolestarCars I'm sure they have been tested, but have you actually poured water on the handles in -30C and then tried opening them with 5 mm of solid ice on top? Even if the door can electronically unlock, how are you supposed to open the door when there is nowhere to grip? This is not an unlikely situation, it will happen many times, every winter.
We're unable to comment on how exactly the flush door handles have been tested, but rest assured they've been thoroughly tested along with the rest of the car.

Polestar is directed straight to bankruptcy. Bad sales due to bad price policy, 15% of workforce fired, Volvo stepping back.. Only option to save it is reducing 10k the price of Polestar 4. We'll see if they act in time before it's too late..23k more than Tesla for the base model is just insane.

Certainly a better effort than the 2 but still not a visual stunner which may be forgiven with that huge back seat room and comfort......of course, I'm single, so there's that. Uncomfortably pricey IMO! I was initially interested in the 2 but price killed it and went with the Tesla 3 LR and when I upgrade, it will be the "Highland" model. I thought the charging network would, it was, couldn't live without. DUH!
Been in 1 and 2 . Suspension is not great for Australian roads.. after a year becomes squeaky and lots of plastic noise.. I would expect these addressed in 4
I'm so torn. I already have a fantastic family SUV (new Defender) but I also want this. But I dont need this. But I can justify it by offsetting its electric prowess aganst my gas guzzler (albeit very efficient tbf).. what to do?!
I can't make the jump to an EV just yet (for a couple reasons) - when the time comes (hopefully) Polestar will be available.... After seeing earlier models in person I'm impressed...

1. People watch this. 2. Decide they want to go electric 3. They realize that the Tesla model 3 or Y is better in every aspect and costs less. 4. Polestar marketing for Tesla. 5. You realize that you should’ve invested in Tesla 6. You go invest in Tesla 😮
And if you skipped spending billions on developing blinking lights and Illuminated logos the car might actually become affordable and you could stay in business.
I really want Polestar to succeed. Much better cars than Tesla. They are moving too slowly for me though. I just bought a Kia EV9 and it has many of the interior features they're speaking to as upcoming "innovations" (digital mirror, recycled knit materials, etc...)
When will they release the 2023 earnings report? Now the price is $0.70. The capital has been destroyed. Please do something to bring the price back above $1.

What are you talking about? You can just put your seat further back. I’m 1.85m and the room in the front of the Zeekr 001 I just ordered (which is exactly this car) is wonderful. This car is MUCH bigger than a polestar 2.
I'm really looking forward to the car but I think 1200 euros per month in leasing is too much... That's the problem, I'm even a shareholder in Polestar... the support and the option to even test drive the vehicle is very weak, that makes me sad... Polestar needs to present itself more and adjust its prices, especially for businesses... I would lease the vehicle but for 2 years I would pay more than 1200 euros per month! this is too much ... :-(
