Enjoyed your video on Poli-Glo. I’m on my third round of cleaning/rubbing/etc. trying to get all the exterior down to a dull, clean finish. But, after using the Poli-Prep, then changing to the Poly-Ox (recommended by the folks at Poli-Glow), -I still have way too much “splotchiness and streaking” for my liking. Can’t figure out what I’m missing-I’ve been pretty diligent following the instructions, I think. Anyway, do I need to just keep polishing away with the Prep and the Ox, or do you have a better suggestion? I’m tempted to apply some of the Poli-Glow to a small section and just see what happens. Leaving for a trip next week, and sure would like to get this done before we leave. Any thoughts, please? Appreciate you for your help!

thanks for the video. I have used Poliglow on my 2002 Alpenlite, very satisfied. When I go into the dealer for service they mistake it for a 2018 unit.

Yeah, I am really happy with the results as well. I've been putting two coats on every spring and fall and it really keeps it looking like new and its not that difficult to do.

So the million dollar question, how long does all that work last for? Is it required to just reapply or does it need to be stripped, cleaned and re applied annually? BTW... awesome job, it looks fantastic! Wanna come do my 33 foot TT? lmao!!

This work great on a car or truck. I used Lukat Fix It it helped some used it after sanding my truck and it doesn't look bad after sanding it but still painting my truck again and the new car got this year. But just saw this product today kind of high priced though. Looks like it will work great fast on a vehicle that has a hazy clear even a vehicle that looks hazy and white oxidized.

I'm not sure this product is the best thing for vehicles that have paint. It is designed for fiberglass and gelcoat.

Gettin ready to have a guy Poli Glow the 29M Hurricane. Like your results...thanks for sharing. What do you use to wash your roof and rig with? I now use a Gel Gloss RV Wash Wax stuff which is not a wax stripper or a detergent. WOnder if that will be ok? Thanks again.

Yep still happy with the results we got using Poli Glo. The trailer does need a fresh couple of coats of poli glo every 6 months to keep a nice shine on it. We use Dawn dish detergent in warm water and a soft bristle brush to wash the roof of our rig every six months. As far as washing the gel coat sides, front and back we use Rain X car wash WITHOUT the wax. Poli glo recommends any car wash without wax.

@@rvadventureswithtimmike6632 Thank you for your reply. I'm looking forward to have a shiny bus again. Thanks for the tip on Rain X. I contacted Poli and they say they're coming up with a wash product coming out next year. Happy Trails and Roll Tide

Thanks for all the good comments. You said Rain X...I'm going to use the same thing...if it worked for you. They have a concentrate "foaming" stuff and I guess their "regular". I saw they have one with carnuba which I'll stay away from. Which of those have you had the best results with?
@rvadventureswithtimmike6632
@rvadventureswithtimmike6632 2 года назад
We have been using the Rain-X foaming concentrate on all our vehicles. I suspect that any quality car wash would do fine, just as long as it doesn't have the wax added to it.

What temperature do you apply and can you apply it in the sun? Nice video
@rvadventureswithtimmike6632
@rvadventureswithtimmike6632 2 года назад
My initial application was done in the spring and since then I have done another two coats in the fall of this year. Both times the temperature was in the 80 - 85 degree range. The instructions say this, "Temperature should be 55F- 90F. At a temperature of 75F, each coat will dry in approximately one minute". It can be applied in the sun however I did my application in the shade so that the camper wouldn't be so hot in the beating sun and also for more creature comfort. Over time after the first application I did start to see some fading and steaks but after applying two "refreshing" coats in the fall I am still very pleased with the results. Thanks for the compliment on my amateur video! 😀

how many coats can you get out of one bottle?
@rvadventureswithtimmike6632
Of course that would depend on the size of the rig you are trying to apply it to but in my case we have an approximately 28-30 foot rig. I was able to get the original 6 coats plus 2 coats in the spring and 2 coats in the fall for maintenance to keep it shining like a diamond in a goats butt. So I got 10 coats out of 1 bottle. Since then I have purchased a second bottle so I can continue the 2 maintenance coats every 6 months. Still very pleased with the product.

How's it holding up? Do you still recommend it? Thanks great video and much detail
@rvadventureswithtimmike6632
Yes, I still do recommend it. Keeps the camper looking brand new. I give the camper a good wash every 6 months (usually spring and fall) and do two coats of poly glow after the wash and it looks great! The two coats go on very easy and fast since it already has the base poly glow on it.
