How do you do your pricing? By the foot? Do you offer a package. Like a basic wash, wash/wax, buffing & polishing ect. I am in Pa with campgrounds all around and nobody even offers a basic wash let alone actual detailing. Appreciate your response.

@@SlowDiscoFourOneNine wash is $5 a linear ft. Wash and wax $12-$15 a ft. Oxidation removal and UV seal is $18-$30 a ft.

I've seen warnings against using a pressure washer on an Rv as the high pressure can & will get under the plastic vents & body seals & whatnot. !

Pressure washers are very directional… meaning the water only goes where pointed. Anything that interferes with its path, the water bounces off. Hope that makes sense. Very hard to get water somewhere when there is any kind of obstruction. POint it where you want it with caution and you’ll be alright. Textured roofs need to be pressure washed heavy to be cleaned properly, using common sense and caution. Hope that make sense! Thank you for watching

I have some questions. Do you use any kind of liquid wax on the roof? What kind of scrubber were you using on the dawn foam? Just a suggestion. If you want your glass really clean, let it dry completely. Dry rub the glass with 4/0 steel wool. It will not scratch glass and takes all gunk off the glass.

For the roof I use 303 aerospace grade spray sealant if there is zero oxidation. If there is oxidation I buff it down and wax it (depending on what material the roof is). For the brush/scrubber I’m using a Wooster paint extension pole from Home Depot with a brush head attachment I buy at local detail shops. Not sure what they’re called. I’ve heard that about the steel wool. In fact it just came up yesterday with a client who asked me about it. I’ve never tried it. Maybe I’ll have to give it a shot. Thanks!

Where did you get the green brush from? Is the green cleaner 'Cleanse Tec Liquid Xtreme'?

I got the green brush from a local detail shop here in so cal in perris. I think it’s called star detail, they also sell water. It’s right by the Popeyes in perris plaza off the freeway. The glass cleaner I use is the green rain x glass Cleaner with bug remover in it. They sell it by the gallon at Walmart.

Questions!!! How do you get to an C class overhang? what kind of soap are you using?
@_allthingsdude
@_allthingsdude Год назад
For that front cap on a class C I use a couple different methods. I typically get as much as I possibly can from the roof then get anything remaining from a ladder. I like to set my ladder centered up at the front, lay down a microfiber towel on the hood, remove on shoe and step on the microfiber on the hood. So I keep the one foot with shoe still in tact on the ladder and the foot with no shoe on the hood with the towel. This usually gives me access to the front center section. The remaining I get from the sides on my ladder. As for soaps- if it’s oxidized I use extreme by finish renu and dawn. If there’s no oxidation then I use a wash wax soap by a company called 3D.

How do you remove hard water spots from windows
@_allthingsdude
@_allthingsdude 3 месяца назад
Ok that can be a tough one… do you have black windows or clear windows? The black windows typically get the water spots baked into the pores so deep that you can’t really get them out. Try a wool pad on a rotary buffer with 1000 grit compound. Also try chemical guys orange gel water spot remover ( follow directions on bottle). If neither of those work then you might try a glass cutting compound and pad combo. It can be a real pain in the butt.

As a red seal rv service technician... DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER ON YOUR RV OR TRAILER. UNLESS YOU LIKE PAYING FOR WATER DAMAGE.
@_allthingsdude
@_allthingsdude 10 месяцев назад
I wash and detail RV’s for a living, 2-4 RV’s a day, I use a pressure washer on LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, ZERO ISSUES EVER! Use your brain and common sense and you’ll be just fine!

@@_allthingsdude well I hope you have insurance for when one of your customers gets delam from blowing through the tpo/ epdm rubber roof membrane and / or side wall sealant. It clearly states in all owners manuals to not use high pressure water on any surface of an rv and we have repaired thousands of dollars of damage. If you feel comfortable doing what you do thats great but just know that as soon as you do that it voids all factory warranty on that unit as well as extended warranty. Just trying to help.

That's probably the manufacturer trying to cover their ass from customers using a pressure washer that is designed for cleaning concrete (2000- 4000 psi). Most rv detailers have pressure washers tuned to run at less than 1500 psi.

@@marcussirounianharry9451 precisely. It’s their way out. If you don’t say you used a pressure washer then they don’t know.
