Love the idea of the response time. Also, the ability to go unseen would be nice. Like the very first mission where Trevor says “relax they ain’t made this car yet” it was cool .
You can actually already do that in GTA 5. When you have a wanted level and the cops can’t see you, just jump into a different car and the cops won’t immediately recognize it.
@RDTV94, I'd like to see the "response time" thing but what I don't care to think about is the narrator mentioning "fender bender" so now are you really going to get "wanted" every time you rub fenders with another vehicle or hit a "park bench" etc. You'll spend 99% of your time trying to avoid that " * " which funny enough changes as you rank up. I've noticed that initially the * was very short-lived and Cops seem more realistic in their behavior where it was pretty easy to escape but as you rank up suddenly * seems to last 2-3 times as long and sometimes Cops appear near you in places where they shouldn't almost as if you have ** or *** and that * online has Cops shooting at you already where you expect them to only shoot at ** and above.
Since RDR2 had a bounty system GTA6 will likely have a warrant system I imagine, after a certain amount crime or particular crimes you’d eventually become more and more searched for from authorities just like they do in RDR2
The feature where the cop will remember your car after escaping them is amazing for single player but for online it would be to much of an annoyance. Most people hate dealing with cop especially on gta online
@therealmrsteve, there is already a difference tho, online they will shoot you at * whereas offline it's ** and up. Again I assume it's rank-based but online as you rank up that * will last 2-3 times longer and Cops will sometimes appear in places they shouldn't as if you have ** stars. The whole AI "cheat" system needs fixing. The online AI is really bad for it's "cheating". I can be ~100' away and Merryweather goons can somehow hit my character with pin-point accuracy wiping out my heavy armor with like 2 shots yet I just fired ~6-10 shots and it's like only 2-3 bullets actually hit them. I do use free-aim but it's not my aim it's the fact that the game reduces your accuracy based on rank just like other games reduce accuracy/hit effectiveness when you set the "difficulty" level to a higher value so even though you fired 10 rounds dead-on only a few hit or do any damage. Just like I noticed Merryweather became more "aggressive" as I leveled up. Not only are there weapon's accuracy greater and more deadly but they get speed-boosts and knock the hell out of you sending you up the side of the mountains and as your truck is tumbling down where you can't shoot at them they're shooting you so in like 3 seconds you're "wasted" with full health and full heavy armor & by the time you respawn without any armor they just nailed you again with 1-3 shots so you're about dead again before you can even get to where they are/figure out where the gunfire is coming from. It's insane cheating by the AI.
I don't think I'm gonna like these new police features.....sound like the whole games gonna be based on trying to get away from loads of police for doing a minor or running over some muppet in the road.......I dunno bout this
@@lilcurt195 just as a feature, let's say that your being chased by the cops and are out of sight, you could head to the nearest mod shop and change your plate number and colour of car so it would not appear on their system. Just a general feature I think many would like.
@@soulless393 Even better. Make it a game mechanic. Your character finds a place to hide, the stars are blinking, you approach the back of an empty car, use the inventory, and take the plates.
I have a few ideas that would be amazing for the in game world. • Crime Scenes - A system where areas would become crime scenes temporarily where you have committed the crime rather than the going back to the scene 5 minutes later and it looks like nothing has happened. That would also add to challenge as if there was like a wanted system like in RDR2 you would know to avoid the area where you committed that crime. And depending on the severity of the game would determine how large the crime scene is and how long it would be there for. • Limited Ammo for AI - There should be a system where AI have to work strategically to preserve ammunition and different outcomes for different types of enemies. Cops for example would have to return to their vehicle for spare ammo and if they run out after that, they would either call for extra backup or ask other cops for a spare ammo. Essentially extra teamwork in the police would be great. Then if you were fighting gangs or other types of enemies, they would retreat. Then if you were in a gunfight with even a random civilian they would either have a chance to retrieve more ammo or run away to the nearest building for cover and call the cops. Just a limited ammo system for AI and reactive measures to depletion would be amazing. • A realistic wanted system placed by the law, and a bounty system placed by gangs. If you get a run in with the police, and escape essentially you would be on the run until you either are killed, arrested or you could pay a lawyer to clear your record. And if you have a run in with a gang member, you would have a hit on you where gang members could jump you at any point and the way you take of the hit is enter their territory and take out some sort of leader and clear their territory or you could just bribe your way out. A then if you had a run in with a civilian and you spared them, they would remember your face and send family/friends on the look out for you and the way to clear that could be holding the person who ordered the hit ransom, killing anyone who comes after you or even paying them to get off your back. An immersive bounty system would just be amazing. • Gun Control - A system like in Watch Dogs where if you pull out a weapon in public and people immediately start evacuating and the cops may have a chance to be called. And if you pull out a weapon in front of the cops, they’d immediately give you the chance to drop your weapon and and arrest you then if you aim at them they would immediately start shooting. • Immersive Encounters - A bit like in GTA V but more immersive. More encounters would be great for example police shootouts with gangs, people resisting arrest, road traffic accidents, random foot chases, robberies and much more and you could interact with every kind. If you do good acts such as stop a store robberies the owner would pay you, or if you helped the cops chase down someone they wouldn’t shoot you on sight. Instead they could award you with money or even take you off wanted list. • Honour system - I don’t need to explain this one. Add an honour system just like in read dead. It gives the world of a actions have consequences feel which makes ever choice have a meaning rather than just blowing up a whole city and walking away like nothing happened 5 minutes later. • Disguise - A system where could can quickly change clothes and/or get a haircut to lose the cops. Maybe add system where could store an additional outfit in your personal vehicle.
I had another idea too, Imagine they start to include a hacking system where you have to skillfully hack before making a move or skillyfully hack datacenters to gain access to unauthorized stuff like stock market or police record database or cars database. If you fail your hacks, you get caught!
@@keshavmathur251 I think that would be too much like Watch Dogs I was basing my ideas what could improve A. However to adjust your idea slightly, having tasks which would require you steal secret files or records would make more sense in the GTA world. Files which could give locations to data centres and logins to those databases which would inevitably allow you to purge all the crimes/infractions you have committed from the police records. That would include any vehicle details, arrest warrants etc.
@@smudgerbug Yea my idea would make it more like Watch dogs true! Yea I guess stealing confidential information and records would add a lot of in game action as well. But unless real money is involved. I really want a way where players can interact with the world at will to affect the stock market prices especially in single player. I was trying to work an idea for that!
I'm totally excited for that kind of AI improvement and hope to see it in the game. But just as a cautious question, have we seen any of the NPC/police AI outside of that one leaked clip? I ask because that clip looks like it's one of the plot-advancing missions, and in missions like that NPC behavior is often scripted to act specific ways to fit the nuances of the scene, and has the NPC's doing things they don't normally do in freeplay mode. Just want to see if we have any definitive word or perhaps any screenshots from freeplay.
the video isnt the main source for this information. code itself was also leaked and it shows behavioral information regarding the police, so it is extremely likely this will be normal behavior from the police
I swear to god man these people need gta vi to be unplayble as possible. if you ever played any mafia game you will understand how fucking annoying these advanced cop Ai really is.
@@bigsmoke5814 oh yeah defo but a police dog is not too much considering rockstar already added dogs that will attack players if provoked, all they need is to give the dogs a police vest and spawn when wanted, literally that is all. if they go too advanced and make dogs sniff you out when hiding then it defeats the point of being stealthy and getting away from cops.
Another unexpected feature that would make the game more challenging, and realistic, is to arm a percentage of the NPC's with concealed pistols. A lot of robberies are foiled by ccw holders . . .
They already tested this in 5 and Online. When you robbed stores, occasionally a random civilian would show up and start shooting at you. A couple of the others, you actually are the target of a police sting and you get swarmed with a 3 or 4 star wanted level once you exit the shop. So 6 having this, especially since it takes place in Florida, wouldn't surprise me.
More like Detroit Become Human. TellTale games wasn't very good at that, despite their advertising. Doesn't mean they couldn't make good stories, though!
One major feature I hope to witness in GTA6 is the inclusion of hotels or inns as a starting point for players who lack sufficient funds to rent, with the opportunity to eventually buy legal properties lol.
once watched an interview where they said one of the hardest things about developing a shooter dumbing down the AI enough to where the game is actually enjoyable the truth is if a developers wanted to they could just make it to where you would constantly be dealing with AI that never misses and knows exactly when you need to reload
Kingdom Come does this in a way, enemies have 3 levels of difficulty, level 1 enemies are pretty much untrained in combat but attack in groups to circumvent this, level 2s are competent but can be beaten with careful swordplay, level 3s are very hard to kill, like they've survived many encounters before you. If you haven't developed your skillset, level 3s will wipe their ass with you, taunting you all the way.
@@TopDawgGamingOffical He just said they will be almost life like even the response times will vary depending on the severity of the crime they will be more tactical in their approach to arresting you So with that said we can safely assume they won't be like any other GTA game. GTA 1 was the worst for ramming at least they slow down behind you on 5
Personally i don’t think this is gonna be added but a gang feature could be cool. Like around the city there are different gangs you can join and all of them have different perks and territories , you could go on hits, and ride around with them. Also I would like to see a type of narcotic/drug system where you could sell them for money or use them yourselves. Either way this game gonna be big
I love the idea of police response time. And not saying they would ever do it. But it we could cool, say if they end up expanding the map to liberty city if the response time was different, due to the crime rates being higher there. Also adding dynamic to the experiences you end up having.
@@justgabe6678 there is this thing , you know, called LIFE. games are meant to be an escape to real life, to just relax take ya mind off of your real life. but now i gotta live my real life, and then play a simulation of real life? if you are older than me, it doesnt show.
@@deathrager2404 haha, I know I’m older than you because your getting bent up over a video game opinion. I probably won’t even play gta 6 so my opinion doesn’t matter. Needless to say, I highly doubt rockstar would create a game as realistic as that. Which your right, that’s for the best. But a police response time will still provide an arcade feel to it. It adds urgency, makes you think about how you do things. That to me sounds awesome. Will online have that? I don’t know. Probably not, but maybe. You don’t have to like my thoughts. But you can’t lie, it’s intriguing for sure.
@@deathrager2404 I’m also curious how what I said curates the idea that “it doesn’t show”?🤔 any man who is grown and confident with his life doesn’t need an escape from it. The most childish thing I could do is even have any ideas about a video game to begin with. But then again I think we are both in the same boat on that point. So ask your mum for permission to post your next response Mr.deathrager2404
i worry that in rockstar’s pursuit to make the game realistic, it’s taking away the fun of playing the game. I remember in GTA 4 it was fun to try and do stuff and not get wanted levels or outrun the cops/play around with them. but in GTA 5 when they made the cops super sensitive, it became less fun and “unrealistic” when the cops just blast you for anything. Hope this doesn’t happen in GTA 6.
Rdr2 was a masterpiece alone. Really raised the bar for GTA... but I can only imagine the difficulties within GTA. 1 standalone fact. Rdr2 was a western set in old times. Open fields, minimum buildings, ya know. GTA is in a big ass city. That alone is difficult to build as the core. However, with all the new additions in rdr2 I'm sure will make it into gta. Fighting system, eating system, hair growth system, etc. I can't wait. I hope its loaded with buckshot bc this game is gonna hit hard af!!!
I'm actually praying for hardcore/immersive lobbies in GTA 6 with no mini map or visual aids. It will make the game that much more realistic and griefing will be virtually impossible.
Though it's questionable whether enough players will feel motivated enough to keep playing when playing is so hard. (Don't forget we are used to quick dopamine). And Rockstar needs a looooot of players to finance this thing)
@@paulminow6163 it will be an option the same way free aim lobbies are an option. Only hardcore players will turn off all the casual settings to get a more immersive experience, I don't think it would effect the regular player base at all.
@@chiefhowlingwolfhannibal7360 I always wished that encounters with other players was more accidental, kind of like in The Division's Dark Zone areas. Being able to see where everybody is at all times just invites stalking/griefing.
I love how there going for realistic with gta 6 like the police and how you can only carry two weapons and you’ll need a duffel bag to hold more and aiming inside a vehicle how your view is actually inside the car and your characters body is turning around and remember the leaks were only alpha gameplay from time ago if it looks that good back then just think about what the game will be like once it’s out
@RICOBTB28 Yeah, I know, but that has nothing to do with being able to hold down 5 stars with a handgun, an assault rifle, and maybe a sniper rifle. I need like a Desert Eagle, an AK, and lots of handgrenades, for example.
Whenever someone talks about Law enforcement remember plate and car model and color so respraying wont work, It be cool if you can go behind a car and steal their plates and when you're trying to lose them, you can hide in a safe spot, go behind your car and switch the plate, respray that way the 2 main ways to identify you can be countered
i hope that we get 4 seasons in gta6, and the trees, vegetations, weather, temperature would adapt. also a weather simulation with forecast would be really nice, some missions would be better done under rainy weather (stealthy?) other in a dry season like driving. Another cool thing would be sea tide, especially cool with the swampy area, some new places would get accessible, and the landscape would become way more dynamic.
@euclois, they need to allow adjustments or the ability to disable it. I think it's going to be annoying as the "snow" in GTA V is fun for a little bit but it gets tiresome being dragged out for so long where all traction is heavily reduced and there's so much driving/escaping you have to do in missions & now you just can't... It was awful when GTA V online was glitching and suddenly whilst doing even an "Ammunation delivery" I was hit with a *** wanted level WHEN you're NOT supposed to get a wanted level during those deliveries and it happened just before getting to the Ammunation and suddenly I had to try driving that bulky, slow Duneloader up the now snow-covered mountains trying to escape the Cops including the helicopter as I had to keep getting out firing rockets at it, trying to drive across those mountains, slipping/sliding/rolling etc., and all before the last minutes on the clock ran out because the stupid game glitched and the fact that there was snow everywhere... Immensely annoying. And it was even dumber that as soon as I managed to escape, the msg appeared "You completed an objective escape 3 star wanted level" -_- I hope R* focuses on getting rid of the bugs/glitches because there are still problems that GTA V has been suffering from for 3-5 yrs and they STILL haven't fixed them despite the game being ~10 yrs old...
Hearing about "slow" police response times made me immediately remember store robberies in Mafia 2. When you went in to rob, the customers would flee. They could call the police from a phone booth outside, or if they wouldn't, the store clerk would once you left the store. If you fled before the police arrived, sometimes you could run into them driving over to the store. If you went by the store later, you would see the cops either questioning the clerk, or the store could also be closed off as a crime scene entirely, if you killed the cashier. Same thing with the plates. In M2, the police would be looking out for your vehicle's model/colour/plates, and additionally, your outfit.
I think GTA6 should also have upgraded police boats and also the Navy should have built-in radios to contact other countries to come find you and put you in prison if you have a 6 star wanted level
I think an awesome idea would be that in every session The cops would remember you differently compared to the crimes that have been committed inside of that session and the more crimes you commit the more interrogations they open and easier it's gonna be for them to recognize you and start chasing you for those crimes
I think we need a regular drive mode and am evasive drive mode we can toggle on and off for people that enjoy realism. Could make it a lot easier to go the speed limit when cruising around
This actually sounds like an excellent idea to me ! It could even take the form of the ECU control button in our modern cars, with a cruise mode to chill or don't make something stupid while you're trying to be part of the trafic crowd (sort of an AC x GTA), Sport to be faster and idk, "launch control" to be fastest and loose cops on highways I guess ? ^^
It would be dope if it was more realistic with police, like when you do a high speed in residential areas, so they call off the chase and put a look out on your car... and also doing things in areas with no traffic
Me I hope they'll send more appropriate reinforcements if they suffer too much casualities or if the player is using a very dangerous vehicle I would love to see the FBI or the US Army back in the system
Interesting, so GTA V has firing bullets and police sirens when you start up the game when the R* icon, right? what do you people think, what will sound up in the start up of GTA VI, maybe a jail cell open, footsteps, an electric jail door "sound" and then a slam? or anything else?
Ngl, the police should pull you over and stop you if you run lights, crash into signs, etc. Traffic stops and police interactions through your window would be so dope.
I'm still really not sure I'm that cool with police being able to track your vehicle that effectively. Again, it would suck not being able to use a favorite car anymore because the police know it from so much as a fender bender. It's realistic sure but there needs to be a balance between realism and fun, especially if a car you really like and worked on is no longer usable because you let someone else play for a bit and the game accidentally saved. Especially in online.
Be great if you have to press a button to put your seat belt on (hear me out) so if you forget say after doing a mission and get pulled you could end up getting chased for something so small , also your character is more protected in a crash , say you forget to press seatbelt your character could go through windscreen or be thrown from car in accident , car jacked etc ...also if you run a red infront of a cop or speed or drive drunk or seemingly drunk ... think more features like this would be great after all the games called grand theft auto , would be cooler if more options , like newer cars harder to steal and you need right tools etc , places to sell cars seperate from main missions etc.... first thing im gonna do is get a half decent car and go for a drive across the whole map see all the sights , pick up a sports car along the way and head for the beach ...especially as rumours are you can surf ... im thinking california games on the lynx doing the 360 wave jumps
Technically gta 5 does have a little AI feature for a fellow officer it’s not common but in the right place they will pull them by there vest to safety.. usually this happens when they are close to cover, so I’m sure features on the previous gta 5 was a practice for the features on gta 6. But if this is the case this will definitely be the most immersive GTA for sure and I’ve been wait for them to come out with a GTA just like this for years. Police features and hopefully a better wanted like red dead redemption like you said of course but better thanks for sharing!
The police AI does sound confusing then when in real time if police see a car speeding or driving past red lights then they’ll chase you and pull you over. Speeding in GTA is necessary! Sounds like an instant 1 star everytime players get in a car.
Just like in real life there’s not police in every corner on the street, I’m assuming you’ll be able to see the nearby police on the map. When you see the nearby police you would likely have to follow the traffic laws so you don’t get pulled over. In my opinion it would make the game a lot more immersive and fun if you had to follow traffic laws when there’s police nearby.
@@frozenduck74 I hear you! If there were missions though where you had to get somewhere within in a certain time or follow the highlighted path the map gives you then you have no choice but to speed, you’re more than likely to run into a cop.
they pretty good with features detailing so hopefully police will get improved line of sight this time too, i don't want them to be able to see through solid walls after they loose the sight
Stuff i want to do in gta 6 Walk into every building on the map including high rise offices while everyone is on their computers, or houses during family dinners. Drive a car onto the field during a big game at the stadium right before an important kick Blow up the power station and cut power to the city Blow up phone towers so everyone loses reception in the area Rob the reserve bank Bring back the gym Hear all about these achievements on the tv and radio news The whole game have VR capability
When you were talking about the police recognizing your vehicle and plate and how we are going to lose them for people who have played gta long enough will already know how to lose them be this gonna be a lot to test out ❤
It’d be cool if whenever you get busted, you have a short cutscene of your character in the jail and then your partner or a Saul Goodman-esque lawyer come to bail you out. Kind of like in rdr2.
Even as a side weapon you can also use a sentry gun from team fortress 2 cuz it seems to be very effective in team fortress 2 so I think it will be very useful in GTA 6 cuz it's sentry gun is on a mattock so that means that anyone who is using it or not get shot but anyone that is an enemy will trigger 2 sensor on it
I think a stationary gun that can be hauled by van and set before you begin your Rampage would be a great detail, especially since your weapon wheel is limited for realism.. Like the movie Jackal. I do hope the game isn't too realistic, making things impossible.
I don't even play gta 5 but something I've seen in videos all the time is that no matter how many traffic laws you break, you won't get chased by cops. Cops should be able to pull over anyone they see breaking traffic laws and give tickets. Also if you go like 100 mph and constantly break traffic laws, eventually a citizen should call 911 on you. And citizens should be able to call 911 if they get crashed into.
what needs to be implemented in the police system is the police spawning, they need to spawn in their center or already be patroling the area for them to be there. and if no one saw you, and no camera saw you, the situation would be diffrent than if a camera or npc saw you do a crime, or filmed you doing the crime and if you finally escape all forms of chase and hide, they don't magically know where you are unless you left a trail of bloodied boots or car wheels trails. ( if police can't see you they shouldn't know where you are, and if no one claimed your position like an npc or camera ) Devs should play test the game chases for the them to be as realistic as possible, and see where it needs improvments
I hope the mission design reflects the game’s open world this time around. Rockstar makes absolute works of art, but their mission design is always very linear.
What I want to see in GTA 6 in the option to join the military the Navy and the Marines in GTA 6 and there's also be more gun options like flamethrowers bomb grenades and nukes so you can nuke every enemy that crosses your path
Regarding paying your bounty, I think another modern take could be bribing the cops or paying lawyers to fight/reduce the crimes. Obviously, this would be an exaggeration as you can’t just pay off a murder spree in real life, but it would still be a cool idea
Tbh, if the game has some level of diffictulty then it's all good. Classic gta games were hardcore and unforgiving for a new player, but later on as you go through all the struggle you manage to understand how the game works and use it for yourself, but this way? Imagine being everything a bit more random. more unpredictable, well things will go south very quickly if you are not carefull, perfection.
It’s going to be FBI most wanted list and it doesn’t go away to you D*e but they don’t constantly chase you. You just got to be on the run for as long as you are alive it’s insanely close to real life lol
