The most relevant thing to note with these static security guards is that they're only employed to act within the bounds of the property. As soon as they step off the property they are no longer acting on behalf of their employer and are therefore no longer covered by their employers liability insurances. They become personally liable for their actions. If they realised this they may not be so eager to do it.

@mal6232
@mal6232 Год назад
Not sure that is correct, when I was employed and working my boss sent me all over the place on company business and I am sure I was still covered by the companies third party liability insurance and social security...... The rules this security guy was trying to enforce only apply to the company property but he would still be operating within the company guidelines while out on public property.
@TheHovel
@TheHovel Год назад
@@mal6232 It depends in what capacity you're employed and whether or not you are employed to man a single site or multiple sites. If you were employed to man multiple sites then I'm going to guess that your employer had sourced suitable insurance, or maybe not. Most static guards are employed on a single site basis and so employers don't spend the money insuring them to be mobile. In any case, no security guard is employed, or insured, to guard the public highway.

He can do it while stood on his company's land. But outside in public its an offense. If he was walking his dog down the street and you deliberately stood in front of him stopping him continuously down the street you'd get in bloody trouble from the police. Love the fact orange man says it’s a high security area and the gates are wide open. Orange man is going to cost his company a lot of money. Maybe he can get a part in a James Bond movie.🤔🤭

To help get the message across to these idiots, why didnt you get the Officer to confirm that a "pilot" should not be interrupted while flying.?

That security guard was a childish moron. It was like watching a 12 year old telling on someone to a teacher at school; pathetic! The use of "unfortunately" was very telling of the coppers general attitude. FORTUNATELY, despite the Police's best efforts to subvert it, we still have some rights left, for now.

The first thing the WPC said to the security guard was "UNFORTUNATELY, he isn't committing any offences." Now ask yourself why she thinks that is unfortunate.

The purpose of filming is to capture an image of a moment in time , and thats the only reason . I wonder what the insurance think of the security smoking in the " highly secure area "

Not just highly secure area but "highly volotile". An area that's "highly volotile" a cigarette smoking security guard is a serious concern.

The camera is just an extension of your eyes. Only difference is, one documents them in case the brain forgets. No camera, no problem. Camera, big issue.

“Unfortunately” “unfortunately” she said it twice. So what she would really like to is charge you or at least chuck her weight around but you haven’t done anything wrong so she’s a bit buggered there,

The police were decent enough and knew what they were talking about for a change, but the fact they even show up is a joke. We all know what happens when you call the police to say you're being burgled.
