Hi dear I worked in a foreign country (saudi arabia) during 1979 to 1982, while I was 30 years old at that time.Now I m 73 years of age and going through immigrant visa process for US.On the basis of the addresses I lived since the age of 16, nvc has asked me to upload a police certificate from saudia in addition to my native country.what should I say on this to nvc so that I can get documentarily qualified.
Not yet submitted.I m waiting for my native country pcc bcz I m abroad.and most likely will choose option as not available bcz saudi do not issue pcc to persons not present in Saudi arabia

I have a question, please help. I am applying for inland spousal sponsorship in Canada. My wife is the principal applicant. She came to Canada on a Vistior Visa and we got married. She was supposed to go to UK on a work permit before she got her Canada Visitor Visa. She got the PCC from India to go to UK. Can I use that PCC for Inland Spousal sponsorship in Canada. She hasn’t stayed in India for 6 months or longer after receiving that PCC for UK. Please help. Thank you.

Should I go ahead with my application using the PCC issued with my old passport and include a Letter of Explanation (LOE) for the change, or should I wait to obtain a new PCC with the details of my new passport?

For people who have lived for more than 6 months in Canada and left the country, apparently IRCC asks for a fingerprint based Certificate Police Check from the RCMP. Does anyone know of an agency that collects this fingerprints in European territory?

hello. I have a question about pcc. I have difficulty to get pcc in singapore. It was stuck in Singappore, my courier says my fingerprint in Singapore was delivered but in Singapore in their status says pending and I received an email from them that they have not yet received my fingerprint. I called canada post to locate my fingerprint but still it takes more long time and I called Singapore but the operator told me that they cant say. I have my old pcc in Singapore when I applied a WP. I am thinking if I can use that to upload and submit it with the supporting documents why I cant upload the new one and I will explain in a letter that I will submit the new one once I received it. I am in PNP non EE pathway for PR. I got my nomination in AB and only valid for 6 mos. I was stress on this situation. Kindly advise if I can do that.

She currently holds a PCC that was issued in 2018 and was valid until January 2019. However, she hasn't visited the Philippines since coming to India. Does she need to obtain a new PCC from the Philippines?

Hi Suyash! I moved to Canada 3 months after I turned 18 and only visited my home country for 2 weeks at a time ever since. Both IMM 5289 and the IMM 5598 document checklist say that I do not need to submit a PCC upfront. But my PR application portal still says that I need to upload a police clearance. Do I upload a letter of explanation here instead? Or should I just get a PCC done anyway? Thank you for your guidance!

I have the same question. Does the principal applicant's whole family need to get it? Edit: The "any family members" refers to a very specific set of people (See guide IMM 5289): An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children. Therefore it is people (i.e. spouse or children) that will accompany the principal applicant to Canada. So not the "entire family".

if you send your application now, your current PCC should be good for another 6 months. not really worth applying for new a one unless they specifically request

Pcc waiting time is more than a month and I want to submit my application for spouse visa earliest because its been 2 months to reissue my passport already 🙄. I am afraid that will not work. You will need to upload India PCC upfront, else you run the risk of getting your application rejected. Must follow what the guide 5289 says
