PD Bacca was on duty with handler PC Mike Davey when they were called out to reports of a man smashing shop windows and acting in a violent, unpredictable manner.
When things took a turn for the worse, PD Bacca sprang into action to disarm him. Despite being attacked with a knife, PD Bacca gave chase when the man tried to escape and was able to detain him until PC Davey could successfully disarm and handcuff the suspect.

I WISH NO K9 DOG GET HURT BUT MOST I PRAY FOR THEIR LIVES AFTER THEY RETIRE WISH NONE OF THEM BE LEFT TO DIE IN THE SHELTERS OR NOT BEING ADOPTED OR UNWANTED! Police dogs need body armour as much as their handlers. This shows why, if Bacca was wearing a vest, though he still have been stabbed;the individual was clearly determined to kill someone, the injuries would've been limited.

You've never worn a ballistic vest huh. They're have as shit, and #1 cause of unnatural deaths among dogs are overheating. That said, in short bursts like this then yeah light combat-harness would be useful.

What happened to his tail? I have never seen a Shepard with a cropped tail? Is that a thing overseas. No matter what hes a beautiful hero.

His tail was amputated after it was cut open. As there was no chance in saving his tail. Dogs tails are susceptible to this as when they have a cut in the tail its hard for it to heal as their tail's constantly are wagging and banging off things. Hence stopping healing.

05:25 aww still doing positive enforcement. Though the handler must be in some weird mental state to start doing that when both the dog and he has been stabbed.

I dont like it when they send the police dog when the perp has weapons so what do u expect? No harm for dogs? U have a gun or tazer just used it dont endanger the dog
