@@gh-vi9tk pretty sure it’s about you seeing out of the vehicle, you can have the back windows as dark as you like and a chameleon tint on the front so people can’t see in and it’s still legal as long as it lets enough light through 🤷🏻♂️
@@thurston383 Not true. Had my car done 2 years ago and I went for the legal darkest one for the rear windows. Any darker and its not road legal. There are limits in the uk. Not sure about the front screen though regarding black tint, probably a no no. Have a good 2023 btw!

I know of a gold/purple tint on a gold/purple chameleon wrapped car. Shame the tint is probs way illegal. Not My cup of tea but for a show, it kinda works.

Chameleon is a tint by name only. Tint metres where created for tint that darkens your glass. Chameleon changes the appearance as purpose rather than "tinting" it. Not the same only the tint business generalising what they call applications to car glass

This job is just as important as anything else.
opacity meter.... and really important to tint your drivers view of the road due to all the high intensity led lights blinding us at night, let alone incorrectly installed bulbs.
Haha in Australia police look at the value of the car then go from there haha so if you drive a old bomb and you apply dark legal tint they'll test it while getting gitty that there about to annoy someone But you pull up in a modern Mercedes or BMW with black tint they'll not even bat an eye so to me it looks more like there trying to stop certain people from being hidden while driving while others are left alone and free to do what they want same goes for ride height ect
I saw a video yesterday of a copper pulling someone for tint, and thry Guy telling the copper to do the petrol car, the petrol car failed at 60 something ajd then tried giving excuses for why he could prosecute the guy but bot himself...wasn't absolutely disgusting....in the end the copper retracted because the guy wasjt having it, so thr copper said that it was "faulty machinery" even though he tested it and it was within 1% tolerance..... absolutely disgusting

This a a great video. 1 the police pull people over for their emotional problems alone (hope it fails). This is the issue in policing 2 he is actually helping you guys because you now know the tint is legal. So you are not stressing about it.
Not been impressed with them so far but was a red/orange one on a c43 AMG the other day the car was a metallic orange and with the black wheels and red calipers it looked quite good
Saw one of these tints near me yesterday, looked a lot darker, in fact you couldn’t see the steering wheel if you was stood at the front, looked awesome though.
My front tyre keeps wearing on the outer edge 😡 iv had the tracking done but it still keeps happening the rest of the tyre is like brand new with loads of tread. Is it legal still
Ironic. Britain gets 2 hours of sunshine a year and you tint your windows. We get 25 hours a day of bright sunshine (yes, even at night) and we don't tint our windscreen. Greetings from Australia.
The cop's , don't like tinted windows. Meant to be because of accidents. But it ages it easier for a banned driver to swap seats with another driver Who's not banned, or not bothered. Or trying to conceal drugs etcetera.
People wonder why so much effort is placed into what is seemingly trivial. Money. Plain and simple. The people who tint their windscreens illegally will be fined. Huge income for a tiny amount of input from the rozzers. A full on investigation into other serious things costs huge amounts and generates no income. Simple economics.

Honestly this is a huge red flag, dispite what your opinion is on someone's car or style you shouldn't want to find a way to get rid of it because you have the power to push your view or opinion. Some people require privacy from time to time some don't want thier homies being seen in thier local area.

I'm pretty sure there was a few house burglaries and maybe a few fights breaking out in the pub and the 15 year old down the street just stabbed some random stranger because he was on the footpath armed with a knife while his friend used his machete that he keeps down his pants to nearly sever the person who came to helps arm off. Yep but the Police have got to check this tinting on the car. It is so URGENT..
This stuff massively reduces glare which can be very dangerous and here in the UK our roads are wet most of the time so when the sun's out we can't see shit
@@daveytn yeh but it's not that good unless your in a high end car like a Merc. The glass they have put in my seat Ibiza doesn't reduce any glare at all and sometimes I literally can't see out if my window I'd happily have this tint.
I agree the police have far more important things to be tackling and dealing with than car mods or “illegal” car mods,but chameleon tint is fucking awful he did you a favour 💀
