@@veronicacrabtreehill6608 I'm an Aspie, and my patience with disruption is limited. That's a fact of nature, and has nothing to do with manners or respect, although being hassled by nincompoops does come across as bullying, a plague all the NeuroDiverse suffer from. I stand on my comment - this Security Theatre is not a performance I want any part of. It's also environmentally wise not to travel, but to find one's relaxation in other ways.
The police don't do their jobs either very well . Most of them are off in a corner talking to each other , not paying attention , they don't even help with trooper tell tourist to get back , They need to follow through and inforce the rules and do their jobs don't say please to some tourist to move back tell them and not just watch people making fun of guards and not do anything about it . They should clean house on those police there to soft and don't care . Some of the are just as bad as the tourist .
Well let's hope the vlogger decides to show you some light on that, after all he was there, they do say a picture is worth a thousand words, except one and that's context, still this is another vlogger to be excluded from my list of preferred vloggers.
During the course of the inspection @ 16:21, I noted the inspecting officer's spurs were different than the guards he was reviewing. The guards were equipped as mounted guards, but the officer is not. What is the reason for the difference in footwear by the officer and his different spurs?
If the British Military had an ounce of self respect, they wouldn't be literally performing a petting zoo. A real guard doesn't allow unidentified people with backpacks and packages WALK ALL AROUND THEM
I agree with keeping the public back, and I’d go even further and say, keep them away from the yard/forecourt. The guards aren’t there for display, they are on duty despite the public thinking they are fo4 their benefit. Also the vulnerable magnificent horses, keep them safe from all these ‘hands’.
Why are some of them even there? They are either on their stupid phones or laughing like hyenas! No respect whatsoever for the Guards KEEP THE PUBLIC OUT!
I think this needs to be reviewed.Tourist are becoming a nightmare.I feel so sorry for the soldiers the horses and the police. So many people are narcissistic selfie obsessed idiots.London is no longer a viable go to destination.Such a pity.
I am watching all these Masses of disrespectful, stupid Visitors now for a very long Time…….. From Day to Day it is getting more and more stupid and DANGEROUS for the Horses and the Guards‼️‼️😫‼️‼️ Up till now the Poeple in Charge dit NOTHING exept hanging up 2 new Signes……….witch no one is reading…….because they dont care ‼️PLEASE DO SOMETHING ‼️

The Guards ar no Actors, they ar real Soldiers protecting HM.KING and all the Poeple in the Land‼️
Loved the way the gates man elbowed his way through, surely they aren't all deaf? Why did that utter moron clap. People really need information that this is work place a working barracks and the Troopers and horses are working A screen put in a prominent place with this fact written in different languages both visual and spoken narration. This should also include, no photos with horses, not touching the mounted troopers boots, leg, stirrup, or cloaks and that there is no entry or exit though the boxes and especially no entry to the arches near the shop. They have had years to see the distress being mauled but the not so bright public these horses suffer and they wonder why they don't want to work and try at every opportunity to unseat their riders. Limited number ticket only tours should be the only way to tour round this facility. Nobody allowed to block the pavement at the front of the building allowing the horses to change safely and no need to come and shout at the moronic people to get behind the bollards or behind the second white line in the yard. Back gate kept closed except for changing over. Not exactly rocket science so why hasn't this been implemented a long time ago? I am sure the people in charge of Horse guards have all the knowledge to get this done in a timely manner.
Stop the tourists that's what I say. They can look through gates. Sell postcards of the guards and horses stop them touching and acting like loonies being disrespectful.
These tourists think this a show put on just for them, they should have to have some education before entering That this is serious for the Kings Guards, and they are fighting men and women. RESPECT TO THEM ALL
Oh my giddy Aunt! The arrogance! They should ALL be made to move out behind the bollards outside of the gates. In fact, it's beyond a joke, ticket only entry, single file, no touching anything, you look with your eyes, not your hands!
It might be time to do some kind of ticketing system? Not necessarily as a paying proposition, but just to help to regulate the crowds in the busiest times of the year.
They need to know guns, swords, military are not for fun or jokes or games or rides or approaching or touching anything not your pets or personal belongings or space. PERIOD.
Bloody hell….total chaos and totally disorganised. Well done to the femail copper for swiftly moving the elderly guy along. Agree with the suggestion that they need official guides to keep these tourists in line and under control because it’s getting ridiculously farcical. It can’t be that difficult or impossible to sort out.
So many comments, so many opinions on what we in UK should do from folks many of whom have probably never visited, have no idea how this all works. THAT is as disrespectful as the tourists who don't have any respect either!
@@foots-qt4pk No, not an authority but 11 others agreed with me. I have TOTAL respect for our military & none whatever for tourists who mock it or those from other countries who try to dictate what happens.
I’m guessing no one pays to go onto the property. If there was a small charge it could be donated to the Government and fewer people would enter and mess about
I agree there’s something that should be done about this there’s just too many people and disrespecting rudeness I think they should block off the courtyard and by the horse guards stand behind the line and don’t let them near the horse in the guard. They could take pictures from the white line. This is so ridiculous.
People keep stating it's like Disneyland but what do you expect when tourists don't know the guards routine! What's required is at least 3 official guides to direct people so the guards and horses have unobstuctive and stress free duties. It's not rocket science!
That just seems so unsafe to have that many people in one area. This is a military/government facility. Plus it’s a living museum of sorts. If there could be a way to let people see it but keep them moving. People need to be respectful and push on.
Have some respect you 2,this is an Army Barracks and if you carry on showing disrespect the Guard will will let you know by stamping his feet,if that does work he WILL shout at you
Was saddened by the poor police parking in the opening shots. They have the right if on a call to park anywhere. But come on 20 yards back would not kill them having to walk, a lot of the coppers I've seen lately could do with a good walk. You can see the tourist had to offset the shot to clear the car. I was surprised that the female trooper cleared the crowd back to be behind the cobbles but did not clear a path for the Blues trooper to march onto the parade ground, the trooper had to barge a way through. The tourist are not to blame for standing in the wrong place as they only visit once and cannot know the routine. Better crowd control must be thought out. MET police continue to wear the thin blue line gang badge even though the MET commissioner has written several memos banning them.
I think the soldiers like it or not I think they should get very tough with the tourists. The police also. If they yell and are strict I think people will still to take pictures. I don't think The Crown will lose money.
The Crown technically don't make money from it. There's no charge for entry. It brings tourism revenue into that borough of London in a general sense from people spending money in shops and other attractions but that's it. You're definitely right. Something drastically needs to change here. We aren't even into Summer yet. It's going to get worse before something is done to make it better.
seeing this video and many others videos where tourists are disrespectful there is I feel no way forwards as tourists still 'touch the reins' despite the notices. I doubt they would read anything that tells them about the guards.
OMG this would be my worst nightmare standing with that lot, they are so disrespectful screaming and laughing at the guards. This is their Workplace you ignorant lot so respect that!!!!
Even the locals don't respect the guards they laughing and talking so loudly no wonder tourists think it's ok that girls laugh and pose got on my nerves
@@elainebrown5586 Trooping the Colour is almost two months away, the seating is only erected a day or two before an event. What I was asking is "what event is imminent."
@@nicksykes4575 I watched a video in which it was asked what it was being erected for so early and the reply was trooping of the colour and also the musical spectacular.
Those horses are the most spoiled and cared for horses in the Uk. They get the best of food and vetinary care and get holidays to the beach as well as a few months off grazing and running in fields as a herd.
You don’t know what you’re talking about, as others have said these horses are very well looked after and loved by the guards, do some research before you comment, can’t you tell by just looking at them how well they’re cared for? (And it’s RSPCA)
Do ‘allowed tourists’ NOT realize, this inspection would happen EVEN IF their sorry asses where not there to witness. God damn get yourself educated and learn respect.
Yes alot of the people in society think everything is a joke because too many people want to do what they want regardless of rules and couple that with no respect, thats a huge part of the general public. People are getting more obnoxious instead of improving. If people dont respect this as a functioning military unit, they dont need to visit. They shouldnt visit. If i didnt like something or agree with something, im not going to go there so im not sure why these rude people do.
It is Disneyland. Modern day soldiers dressed up in ridiculous gear for the tourist. Do you want the tourist pound or not. Otherwise keep them in military fatigues at their barracks.l where normal soldiers belong
Being a highly trained, even the elite trained, military guard is a pathetic joke , if you must allow random, unidentified people, from all over the world, carrying backpacks, bags, strollers filled like push carts, to walk around and behind and even touch mounted horses. You call that being a guard ? You can call a turd cake, but I'm not taking a bite.
