"Taconafide" is from the first part of name "Taco Hemingway" and the end of name "Quebonafide" because these guys are singing together, and they made an album together 😄❤️

Hehe, that was cute, seeing you trying to figure out those polish sounds ;-) The funniest part was when "Meskie Granie" became an acutal artist. It actually is the name of a polish music festival, it's gonna be 10 years old this year if I remember it correctly, and it's organised by the Zywiec beer brand, something like Heineken's music festivals or Coca-Cola's Coke Live Music Festival. The name "Meskie Granie" would translate to "Men's Playing" or "Manly Playing" or something along those lines. Even though there's plenty female artists in it as well. It is more about the festival tougher sounding than an actual gender thing. And about the song - every year the festival has it's "anthem", the main theme song if you would. The one that you heard was actually the main song of the last, 2018 edition, it was sang and played by a trio of Krzysztof Zalewski [Kshyshtof Zalevsky], Dawid Posiadlo and Kortez, what is interesting about it, is that it was made as a true mastershot - no cuts, you can even check the behind the scenes vid where you can see how it was carefully made by a highly skilled sound, light and camera crew.

Ok so here I will explain the Taco and Quebo Thing. There's a Polish raper Taco Hemingway and another one, Quebonafide. They made a collab and mixed their names, that's why there was Taconafide. No problem :)

Żywiec is a city in southern Poland, in Silesia (which in polish is: Śląsk) to be precise ;). That logo is logo of music festival in Żywiec (One episode correctly), but yes Żywiec beer is from Żywiec town ;).

Nowadays we are pretty much similar to progressive world in terms of culture since we adapted American culture after iron curtain had fallen. The Polish hits from communism and post communism era can be revealing to someone who didn’t participate in that system. We Poles born in 70’s, 80’s are king of addicted to the spirit of that times. The videoclip to the song "Początek" was made by a "Mastershot". If You didn't know what it is - the video was shoted in one movement, the song was played live, they were singing live, everything was made in one shot, no editing, mastering etc. :)

Brian! "Męskie Granie" is an annual music festival in Poland (actually - festivals! in some polish big cities during the summer). In polish it means Męskie = Male, Granie = Playing (but it doesn't mean that it contains only male musicians, it means that the type of music is "masculine", rock/rap/hard rock and something like that - but to be honest it has been changing for the last years and the music is not that masculine as it had been). And that festival releases its own song/anthem every year, before the summer, like "announcement" of the festival. Początek was for 2018 edition. That song is composed (and lyrics are written) by Krzysztof Zalewski (the first guy in this video, that "sir wearing nice vest" :D). The other guys are, as you know, Dawid Podsiadło and Kortez. All of them also performed on the festival that year. Other musicians that performed this year was: Nosowska, Organek, Illusion, Coma, Fisz Emade, Kult, Lao Che, Daria Zawiałow, Natalia Przybysz etc. The "beer thing" - Żywiec - is in the name of this festival because Żywiec beer is an organizer/sponsor/originator. I recommend you checking Meskie Granie songs from past years and you should definitely go to Meskie Granie when you'll visit Poland someday :D Kisses!

Żywiec Męskie Granie is a concert in Poland, and each year they gather artists to make one song that promotes the event. And Początek was 2018 yrs song. It's a collaborarion between, Dawid Podsiadło, Kortez, and Krzysztof Zalewski.

Me too. And yes, it's depends of personal taste. Every one just propose song their likes. I would like propose something from very old school of polish music. Some kind of rebel songs, yes, from PRL.
