Well they share a coastline with the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad & have a couple hundred km of Baltic shoreline to protect. Not withstanding the fact Poland will have Europe's most powerful land force in a couple years. Then there's a little tussle going on just to their east.

I am not Polish but a southern European friend of the Polish people. My answer to these pathetic Putin trolls is this. The Polish have a navy because their coastline is close to 800 kilometers. These people fought their first wars during the Piast dynasty around 960 AD. So the Polish know about war and security for more than one thousand years. So i believe that they know exactly what they are doing, and why they are doing it. They are open minded people and so they are always open to suggestions. Feel free to send them your proposals about their own freaking security.

the enormously tall final assembly hall of could have been a tad more wider & just a bit higher . . . that way the vendor could assemble multiple surface combatants (hulls) simultaneously . . . even accommodate large surface combatants like carriers & LHA/LHDs . . .

Theyre only building 3 ships, the size of the hall is more than likely dictated at the rate theyre going to be produced. Also there is no shipbuilding hall in the world that is used for carriers and LHDs, and Poland would not need either of those types of vessels. Plus youre comparing 5000sh ton vessels to 20000+ ton vessels
