I saw this at Sundance just a few days ago and stayed for the Q&A with the director and star and it was by-far the best movie I saw. This movie is SO much fun, well-written, and well-acted. If you have girls, go take them to see this. There's no blood, or gore, and only a few swear words. I will see it again when it comes out and then I'll buy it, to support everyone involved in making this gem. Seriously, it's an awesome movie.

saw this movie this weekend and it was so fun and ridiculous and unique! AND HILARIOUS I loved it to pieces. It was so well paced and even the side characters were amazing. And Ria's arc about being scared she can't make it as a stuntwoman and Lena dropping out of art school and Ria projecting onto her was so relatable. The fear of not doing well in the things you're passionate about, maybe due to external disapproval or maybe to internal insecurity, but also the idea that you can be passionate about something and stop and still be okay and not stake your worth on one thing and. Its just really good.

These freaks really want to talk to you about your cars limited warranty. Also ultra garbo movie.

Great to see some Western-Southasian Martial Arts content ! Looks like a light parody of Bollywood and the Martial Arts genre in general too so a combo of a lot of things and I'm all for it!

Just saw this in the cinema today, and it was tons of fun - genre-blending and joyous. So pleased to see director Nida Manzoor get a shot at the big-time after her excellent but little-known 6-part TV series "We Are Lady Parts". If you like this movie, track down Lady Parts, you won't be disappointed.

Ok that was bad movie tbh. Overrated. I was bored after movie finished, the humor did not even hit me. I didn't laugh nor enjoyed any of the slow boring action. It was poorly choereographed on the fighting scenes. Alot of it is exaggerated, it felt like half bollywood and hollywood had a baby. The main character was just annoying tbh because the nagging about (SPOILER AHEAD): Wanting her sister To become a artists and her a stuntwomen? What is your obsession with that. For real. Can't respect your sister's choice of career but others criticized the same for hers too. All characters were bland and simple. Trailer throws you off I thought it was packed with witty humor and action, it was a dissapointment really. Even Rush Hour was better. This has no rewatchable value to call it worth it. Maybe great to others but not really if you expect to laugh and watch great actions cus there really isn't. Just strings and slow scenes. 2/10

"Asteroid City" has a star-studded cast filled with everybody who's anybody, and I'm sure it'll get huge critical acclaim. Nobody will watch it. This movie, though? This movie I want to watch.
