George Galloway is the embodiment of the Scottish Lion. His conviction, his integrity, his dignity, his courage, his compassion, his humanitarianism, and his words fill me with pride!
And yet stood with the unionists to denied his own country its independence yet hell sing songs about Ireland unity and the Islamic countries and his solidarity with Palestine yet he a traitor to Scotland
@@The_Prophet... no doubt he is a hypocrite on Scottish independence while demanding the same for Ireland. He also talks of China or Russia as examples but would never accept workers here have wages aligned with these countries nor would he accept the political system or lack of democracy there. The only thing he is clear and consistent on is Palestine. He picks ideals from different nations and their leaders without acceptong those ideals are dependent on authoritarian dictators. George himself is a very contradictary character as are the people he mentions as that which we should look to for answers to the issues un our own country. One thing he said that was very true was the story around his US Senate hearing. That was excellent viewing and in that he gave them a new understanding of how not to try intimidate someone.
I've always appreciated George Galloways honesty and attitude to the establishment. He's a good man with a strong intelligent mind. Compared to most politicians he's genuine.
A rare breed of politician is our George. Principled, plain spoken, gutsy and honest. Great broadcaster to boot. Heaps of respect to him. Really enjoyed this interview. Another great show James.
Well here's something important to realize. If you agree with everything that someone says, you obviously are not critically thinking, you are merely following. You have to think for your self because everyone makes mistakes. If you blindly follow someone, you are destined to repeat their same mistakes without learning why. It's the cult of personality. I love George too though buddy. Just some food for thought.
Outstanding once again Mr English. I’m 55 years young and followed gorgeous George’s political career throughout the years and remember all the events he talked about. I don’t agree with about 80% of his politics and I don’t even support the same football team 🤣 But what a man, we need guys like him who don’t shy away from the difficult questions. Loving it Mr English. Aye, he was stabbed in the back by Blair & his cronies.

George is a old school left wing working class man, the Labour party today is miles away from what it was, its the party of London. He speaks against Blair and his role in the wars he took us in, and his globalist big business mates, which I applaud.

Fantastic interview James, GG is a role model for me as a new working class councillor in a poor town in Wales. I've been elected for two years now and I've already had more than a taste of the dirty tricks and personal abuse from the political establishment that George has survived for forty years. Down with the careerists and up with the working class! 😊
This interview has endeared me even more to George Galloway. I was a fan of his before, but had some big reservations regarding him. I certainly was never in my life a Labour fan. I grew up in Motherwell as a Protestant but with many Catholics around me as friends. I realised at age 18, that having been born into a Protestant family hadn't been a choice of my own, but rather of fate itself. I realised that I could so easily have been born into a Catholic family in Ireland instead! That made me think about who I would have been and what descisions I would have made. I myself could so easily have been a member of the IRA. THAT, was an enormous shock to me and changed my perspective for life!

most people who dont agree with george have never listened to him talk about things , they hate him because of what they have heard or read in media which is as biased as it gets . when given a chance to talk freely and with time to answer fully he always makes sense . credit goes to james for that .

Robin Cook did not support Suharto who was in charge at the time you stated, nor did the violence that led to Suharto losing power happen because of UK support. The numbers you stated as being killed were not due to UK support even if Cook had been supporting Suharto as he was ousted less than a year after the 1997 UK general election which led to conflict from sumatra to timor between factions supporting Suharto and those who opposed him. Ive just checked for this video and did you know John Pilgers You Tube channel has been terminated due to deceptive practises and misleading content? Thats a sure sign his content is speaking truth to power. All his World in Action and subsequent documentaries are cold, blunt and very much to the point of their subject matter. I can only believe its as a result of the coming war on China doc.

Another great interview and just what I need to listen to this Sunday afternoon. George is a very interesting man, I don't agree with everything he says but he is right about many things too. I admire him for being a free thinking left of politics man who can see that the EU is under control from the USA and therefore Israel. He was right about Iraq and Tony Blair and he also done a great impression of a cat on BB! What a guy!

Another outstanding interview James! I could listen to Gorgeous George for days. His command of the English language is supreme. Just like the late, great Tony 'Wedgewood' Ben (who I met about 15 years ago in Surrey), I don't like all of his politics, but I know where he is coming from on the rest of the issues he has to deal with and respect him for that. George is a truly fine politician and long may he have the good health to carry on. 🙂

I really enjoyed the chat. I remember my Grandfather Robert Mathieson from Leven telling me he knew George. I wonder if my Grandfather sold his family insurance? Keep up the great work James.👍

George is not really my cup of tea from a political standpoint . But for sure I canny knock him for the honest passion of his beliefs . Great work James .
I dont agree with alot of his political views but he is a man of integrity and principle. You dont have to agree with someone to respect them, you can admire people with opinions different to yours. The way the world is going people need to take note of that
I really appreciate his framing the picture of ..."at the time of recording". I am indeed listening to it a lot later...currently waiting to see what happens with Boris's 1st ( potentially only) deal.
