After some tenure in their appointed positions, public administrators begin to know more about their area of functional specialization that anyone else. The politicians who oversee their agency and the constituents served by their agency rely on the public administrator to provide objective expert advice. This expertise is an important basis of bureaucratic power.
I've consulted many books to be able to vividly understand the dichotomy between politics and administration but non of books were able to give me the answer and understanding i need. Owing to your video, i have a clearer understanding of what really dichotomy means. Thank you sir, i have a presentation tomorrow and this will help a lot.
