Shelagh Fogarty is joined by Lewis Goodall of The News Agents podcast, whose in-depth MRP poll in partnership with More In Common shows Labour are predicted to win 406 seats at the General Election.
Many Conservative cabinet members, such as Chancellor Jeremy Hunt and Alex Chalk, are predicted to lose their seats.
The Liberal Democrats are on course to return to the title of being the third party ahead of the SNP.

No one is talking about how this could be the last Tory government we ever see . If labour manage to stay in power for 3 terms this scenario could easily happen . It's down to demographics whereby the young generations coming of voter age tend to be much more progressive . What's probably worse for Sunak is, if he does lose by the margins suggested, he will never escape the defeat. A defeat of this magnitude would be analysed by historians for decades to come. How in the span of 4.5 years the Tories went from one of their largest victories in 2019, to oblivion. Every mistake Sunak made in those 4.5 years as Chancellor and then PM would be analysed over and over again. Sunak's name would be plastered across history books for decades to come because of this failure of this magnitude (as would Boris Johnson name, and you can argue Liz Truss is already there due to her record braking short tenure). His name eternally, associated with the shame and embarrassment of the defeat. Nothing he would ever do for the rest of his life would allow him to escape the failure. It's actually kinda horrifying when you think about it.

A second Conservative candidate facing an investigation over allegedly betting on the timing of the general election is married to the party's director of campaigns. Laura Saunders, the Tory candidate for Bristol North West, is being looked into by the Gambling Commission. She has worked for the party since 2015 and is married to the Conservative Party's director of campaigns, Tony Lee. Mr Lee took a leave of absence from his role on Wednesday night, a Conservative Party spokesman told Sky News.. It is not known how much money Ms Saunders placed or when the bet was placed.

The problem for the SNP is that there is no prospect of their non-political scandals over lies and potential fraud are likely to go away in the near future. The blight that will cut them down at this election is likely to continue with the next Holyrood elections. It is likely that Farage will launch a campaign for electoral reform - last refuge of losers in the past - but he will be ignored. Another Brexit-style chaos will be avoided by Labour

who also thinks Douglas Ross is bailing out of the Scottish Parliament for Westminster so he can position himself not to be the next Tory leader but the next one after that (there isn't going to be much competition left).

The fieldwork for the poll was done from 22nd May through 17th June which is a very long time and much of the results wouldn’t account for Farage standing or for D Day. Compared it to Yougov, also out today, they’re fieldwork is between the 11th and 18th of June. Savanta’s mrp poll, also today, was 7th and 18th of June. So it’s easy to see why this may benefit the conservatives. These factors matter in providing context and it’s disappointing they don’t get brought up by journalists.

A candidate i know went to a mock hustings at a Midlands sixth form college and the youngsters seemed quite engaged. It was mainly year 12s who, at 17, are too young to vote but about 20 year 13s were there and not ONE of them had registered to vote. Really depressing! so yet again it seems another election will be heavily skewed towards the will of the older voter.

I am looking forward to Labour ❤. Looking forward for blasphemy laws as we have been getting so much hate on our Palastine marches in the London. So much hate for a minority in the UK 😢
