Hi.. in my rapid, while the seat cover works were carried out, the seat belt mechanism on the rear seat bunch were removed . Only the belts are left on either side. As there is a chance of making rear seat belts compulsory, I'm planning to fix it myself by sourcing the part from boodmo or something. Is it an easy job ? Thanks for your time
Hi Jinu, sorry I missed your comment. Where did you keep the seatlbelt holsters? It is bolted on to the body using a T30/T40 (don’t remember now) Torx screw. It is a very easy job. The metal part of the anchors are simply screwed in place. You can DIY.
@@GaneshBalan thank you for your time. Actually the person who did the seat works didn't return it and he left the place closing the shop within few weeks. So need to procure the part from somewhere.
Hi, no it’s different on the Vento. I understand my friend Rahul has shared the procedure here as a response to the comments wherein someone had asked the same query. Please check.
Hi Ady, I installed these from the local upholsterer who goes by the name LEATHERMAN based out of Palakkad, Kerala. This is his Google maps link - maps.app.goo.gl/9JE9B9nLa7eMFUZ86?g_st=ic
Hi Ganesh, hope you are doing well. I have a Polo 1.2TDi 2012 CL Variant. Before 20 days my Low pressure diesel pump got failed and I'm searching for the OEM replacement for the same. There are imported pumps available but I couldn't find a source for OEM replacement. By chance if you have any lead for the same please share the same. The failed part number is 6R0919050E any revised version source will also be thankful.
Hi Anand, can you check with a scrap yard? That’s your best bet for a cheap replacement which would work well. In chennai, Pudupet would be the place. They basically get accident vehicles and take out all the usable parts and resell them.
@@GaneshBalan Hi Ganesh, I checked with some scrap yards in Coimbatore - Ukkadam. They are selling the fuel pumps ending with part number *51. And my stock part number ends with *50. Looked for the part number in oriparts and it's showing *51 part was only used in Polo 2nd Gen. And I am not sure if it will fit 1st gen Polo.
@@GaneshBalan hi, thanks man, for your help. My main concern was that the existing fuel pump has three hose connected to it. But the new pumps which I am seeing by the number *51 has only 2 hose sockets and one dummy hose socket without opening. I am confused with this missing feature only.
@@GaneshBalan thanks for replying. Yes, I did try. It does not get unclipped, like any other bench seats. I also have an i10 and have removed its seat plenty of times.
@@kongkansaikia4599 hi , i am too facing vento rear seat removal issue....Its not easy as you said...Have you managed to remove ?? please share if you did manage to remove
