Polo 6R - Removing, replacing side AC vent assembly

A quick video on how to remove the side AC vent of the VW Polo 6R. Applies to the VW Vento and Skoda Rapid as well. I’ve seen a lot of cars with the vents broken - clearly the quality wasn’t up to the mark.
This is very easy but requires a discarded utility card or something like a guitar pick.
Part numbers:
LHS - 6R0 819 703
RHS - 6R0 819 704
There are different variants of the above based on the colours and trims (gloss black, matte black etc) but the part numbers are correct. Please double check before ordering! :)

@@GaneshBalan I guess since black tend to absorb the sunlight it fades away over time too…But looking at your car, you must have always parked at good places too…It still looks great..!! 😊

@@ronztinz Thanks man. I refrain from parking the car in the open (harsh sunlight) or below trees (tree sap, bird poop, fruits falling etc). As for the upkeep, I do waterless wash using Proklear waterless wash and 6-7 microfibre towels. If there’s a lot of dirt and grime due to rains, I prefer a foam wash with the pressure washer or at a car wash outlet. 👍🏻 Detailing once in 2-3 years.

Hi, quality is as good as the imported one. I personally did not feel a difference in the material quality. Absolutely no noise while driving. If you feel any noise coming from the vents, remove them, check if the clamps have come off from the vents, fix them using epoxy glue and secure them back.
