Brother i have installed the same headlights, but the focus of headlights is not correct, one light throws light on road one in air.how to adjust the focus in these headlights bro?
Hello could you please give me some tips or details to source VW polo new 2020 car cool accessories like those ambient m lights and carbon key covers and other stuff thanks
Hey buddy, I have made a video about the ambient lights and have provided the Amazon link of it in that video , just search through my recent videos and you will find the RGB ambient light video, key cases are also available on Amazon but those are of cheaper quality, I got it from a car accessory shop in my city , so for such products I recommend you to check some shops nearby , if they don’t have it in stock they can order it for you , any further queries? Do let me know , always here to help ! thank you
Hi Rahul, as the LED’s or projectors requires more power for better throw than the stock ones, does it impact the power supply to all the electrical components including turbo.
Hi mate can I just ask where you actually purchased the headlights you currently have as I have a polo gti 6c and I want to change the headlights so I can have sequential indicators with the red strip though them?
Bro I have bought Audi style head lamps for my polo and have used osram hid kit. But the light projection is very poor and dull. I am confused. Tried leds and halogens as well none of them seem to improve the lighting , suggestions or help to a fellow polo owner would be greatly appreciated.
Hey buddy, yes the Audi style headlamps have very poor throw of light because it’s just a single projector and you actually cannot do anything much , that is why people go for other style headlights like mine which have dual projectors , but yes now the only thing that can help you is choosing a good pair of bulbs , Always remember LEDs are useless for projectors because they throw light side ways , and not straight, hence you never get a desired throw of light when it comes to LEDs in projectors, halogens are also of no use . The only option you have is to choose a good pair of HIDs , Osram is kind of entry level when it comes to HIDs but at the end of the day most of the HIDs in the range on 5-10k are pretty similar when it comes to the brightness, the only difference would be quality, so talking practically there is actually nothing much you can do with your headlights, maybe you can get a powerful pair of LEDs from redbird for your fog lamps , that might help you a bit , but there is honestly nothing much you can do about your Audi style headlamps , it the brightness is really a problem I recommend you selling your aftermarket headlights, and maybe get a similar one like mine or the latest euro spec style ,they cost around 25k and you might get around 10k for your old ones if you sel it , And you can continue using your osram in your new headlight low beam and maybe get a new cheaper pair of HIDs for the high beam of your new headlights, That’s the only wise option in my opinion! I hope this was helpful! Thank you
Bro I’m facing the same issue with my audi style rgb headlights, i have tried all kinds of leds till now , recently i’ve installed maxolink hid kit in my car i’ll say the output has increased but not that much just slightly better, but I’m very disappointed with audi style aftermarket light , should have bought the bmw style double u headlight rather heard that one has very powerful output as compared to any aftermarket lights.
I wanted to buy the 2020 gti aftermarket headlights. But i heard a lot of customers are facing problems with battery usage or drl failure in a very short period on purchase. Is it true that lamp has those issues?
I honestly have never come across a single aftermarket headlight, with the problems you have stated , but common problems are condensation during rainy season , regarding battery usage , that’s again subjective to your driving style , if you use your car only at night and keep the headlights and the fogs on , it will drain your battery , since you aren’t driving your car in the day without headlights, the battery doesn’t get time to charge, in such cases yes it can drain your battery more compared to normal headlights!
Hello Buddy.. Can you please suggest me a good shop where I can purchase the good headlight in Bangalore . My current headlights are pathetic also please suggest me which to buy. I need a clear a visibility. I have red polo 2012. model.
Hey buddy , you might as well get it from any shop you like , because it’s all the same , and it’s just plug and play , so the shop from where you buy doesn’t actually matter , just choose a shop that gives it to you at a good rate , or try to bargain for a good combo rain for the headlights and also maybe HID bulbs for your low beams , as these headlights come only with high beam bulbs in it ! And for good visibility either choose my style with dual projectors or go for the latest 2020 euro spec style and use HID bulbs , not LEDs because LEDs are not meant for projectors because they throw light side ways , HIDs focus light straight! Don’t choose the Audi style headlights because it’s a single beam and it’s even worse than stock headlights when it comes to visibility!
Hi Rahul, Can you share more details about R line Kit, Specially bumper skirt. What is the cost of kit, What are parts included in it? Where we can get it?
Hey Ajay First off , my polo is the 2020 model so whatever bumper you see is the stock GTI kit which the new polos have . What I have done is , I have replaced just the front grill which was stock honey comb GTi grill with the r line grill , this black r line grill costs 3-4k . Then I have just added a black universal splitter to the bottom of my bumper , it costs around 4-5k . It’s made of ABS. Other than that everything is stock , you can get both these things at any local car modification shop , just ask them for universal splitters or r line grill . Thank you !
bro i wish to buy the audi headlight...but when i went to buy the seller itself told its only for style it has no good range and performance.....and my friends told all the white projector headlights are waste of money they wont give a clear view....so tell me bro....does white light throws good light....and which headlight i should use for better sight.....
Hey buddy, there are 4 types of after market headlights available in the market for polo and this is one of the type , they are available in most of the car modification shops near you or in your city , it is available on some online sellers but I would not recommend buying online as there wouldn’t be any guarantee and service, just visit any car accessory shop near you and ask them about after market headlights for polo or show them a picture of my car , if they don’t have it they will surely source one for you , Thank you!
@@rahulnairvlogs I searched in my City but not available so thought you could share me any shop if you know somewhere (Bangalore or chennai) and I can visit the shop.
Thank you , Since it’s a old model you can try to make it look fresh , get a new bumper kit , Mayne the GTI kit like my car or the R line kit or the WRC kit , after that definitely get a mew set of headlights and taillights, your car will look good as new
CarsDaily By RAHUL couldn’t you adjust it from the headlights itself? Need to find a good place to put the canbus if using hid. Just like the fact that led is a much cleaner install. Thanks for the info
Bro I actually got these online , but you can get them from literally any car shop in mangalore, they all have the same product , you can look around couple of shops to find the good price
Hey buddy ! First of you cannot compare it to the stock ones , these are projectors , and the throw of light of a projector is much greater and you have a better focus with projectors than the stock lights , and lastly it comes down to the brand of bulbs which you choose , preferably a good pair of HIDs maybe from crystal eye HID or redbird
@@rahulnairvlogs Thanks for your response! Just to gain more clarity on this front..Did you replace the bulbs that came along with your after market headlights ? or are you currently using the ones that came along with the aftermarket kit itself ?
They come with only high beam LEDs , yes I’m still using them and they are good enough, For the low beams I got Crystal EYE HID which costs around 5k It’s better to have HIDs on projectors that LEDs as HID throw light forward and it’s better for a protector setup whereas in LEDs the the light goes sideways and is not that recommended for projectors !
@@roopeshsulochana in the video i mentioned saying the latest 2020 euro spec style and i have shown its picture too. Do check it out! Its somewhere in the start of the video where i explain the different types available
Hey buddy ! I got these from a local car accessory shop , rather than getting them online , it’s wiser to order one at a car accessory shop near you , as they will install it for you and also replace it incase of any defect or malfunction! Just ask any car accessory shop for VW after market lights , they can surely source one for you !
Hey buddy , sorry for the late response, didn’t find your comment earlier, They come with LEDs for the high beam with the headlights, so my high beams are LEDs which I got with the headlights and my low beams are actually LED from red bird , but you are not supposed to use LEDS for projectors because they put out light sideways and unlike a HID , it doesn’t focus straight, hence I will be getting crystal Eye HIDs soon , They are quite affordable around 4500-5500 for the pair , will be making a video on them soon , stay updated, thank you!
sorry guys was away for quote some time, well here is the issue - i bought these euro spec headlights for my polo gt 2015, as we know they only come with High beam LED's pre installed and we need to get a proper H7's for the low beam. i went and bought H7 HID's for the low beams and they costed me around 10k for the pair. i had them installed and they were amazing for a month or so, good spread and good focussing . One day all of a sudden the car stopped in the middle of the road and refused to start. towed the vehicle to Showroom they had it inspected and they told me that there is fuse blown and it in-turn is shutting the car down automatically if you replace the fuse alone that might effect the car mechatronics and may effect the DSG which takes power , so had them removed. Need suggestions on which bulbs to use with these headlights as no seller would tell you the exact specs for these. the installed HID's were H7 HID 55 watt ( i forgot the company i will check and update ,but for sure its a good company not a random one )
Don't do this modification. I have wasted 50k, very bright output. But scattered all over but road ahead Insted put some good LED bulbs, in all 4 barrels, Adjust them precisely... Works fine with me since 2 years
