Very nice and detailed review. I was in fact planning to buy a second hand polo and is pretty much impressed by the quality of the interior components after years of use. I will be definitely looking forward to get one. Thanks for the review bro! :)
Amjad CA thanks a lot for your feedback... And surely you can look for any German brand without hesitation as they are the best in sheer quality of materials, fit and finish as well as performance .
@@karthikreddylingannagari9823 service cost usually is around 12k at VW vizag / 15k / yearly. Parts / other repairs are usually additional. Had to replace the abs sensors of both wheels recently and they cost 9k in previous service. Mileage is actually good as most of the drives are on highway and I usually get around 25 kmpl
.. Most people don't realize that the thud is because of the lack of gasket rubber sealing around the door s perimeter 😂 . This is why tata s indica s also thud 😂
so you mean kerb wieght has nothing to do with the thud sound even though thud sound is seen only in the cars having more kerb wieght in the same segment and its just related to some cheap gasket
@@indranilmukherjee3623 Recently completed my service May 2019 75k service (5th year)...12 k as per VW Vizag...could reduce it if some unnecessary items are removed...2.5 k for front disc breaks...a total of 15k.
Hello.. please suggest me which car should I buy.. I am going to buy a second hand car, and it will be my first car. Can you please tell about service cost of your car?
@@theturboboost hey hi. I am going to buy in this month. Not a second hand car, i decided to go for a new one. My budget is 6 lakhs, i am looking towards grand i10. Though i like Tiago much in looks, but due to some of the features, i am looking towards grand i10. Can u suggest which one should I go for? Or any other options? But not swift, as i don't want tin ka dibba.
Manavpreet Singh I don’t think you should go for grand i10 or Tiago if your budget is 6 lakhs . As per my suggestion, if you spend extra 1-1.5 lakhs you can buy a premium hatchback like ford Figo, elite i20 or etios liva with Toyota’s reliability, sales and service options as well . And don’t worry about the lone and EMI....they are pretty cheaper now
@@theturboboost my budget is not a single rupee more than 6 lakhs. Even 6 lakhs is too hard for me. But below 6 lakhs will come out with the options of alto, kwid, Celerio, etc, which i hates the most. Isn't grand i10 a good car? I am looking for grand i10 sports petrol, and i am getting a huge discount on it..
Manavpreet Singh okay no problem If you are planning to buy a car under 6 lakhs then you should go for i10 grand or Tata Tiago JTP ( for little more enthusiasm)
There are several things which you should keep in mind - 1- check whether the mechanicals and electricals of the car are working well. 2- interior equipments are not damaged ( if yes then ask for the cause) 3- Check all the windows of the car by looking at the year of manufacture given at the bottom right corner which will give you an idea that whether the car has undergone some accident or not. (If yes then ask for the cause ) 4- last but most important, ask the owner whether the car was self driven or chauffeur driven I think that’s sufficient.....!!!!
Hi tech. I am planning to buy my first car. I am looking at three potential perspectives. Two of them are 2012 Mid Polo 1.2 D Highlines and one is 2013 Highline TDI 1.2. I was wondering if it is wise decision. I can buy new car, but i would like to start off with 2nd hand first. Keep the car for two years and buy new polo. :) What would you suggest? 2012 / 2013 1.2 Highline variants comes with all the features you listed?
service cost is the one thing i am doubtful before buying this (old model) please can you give me exact figure of last 3 servicings how does it drive i mean as compared to swift and santro does it really give 14kmpl ??
O2 sure...i can give you the details of servicing on your mail id..so kindly reply with your current email address and as per driving is concerned this car is still a beast . I am not biased but as compared to swift it is better and obviously santro is not the car of this segment...so no comparison is needed
It gives a mileage of 14-16 kmpl in the city and highway respectively. As per driving dynamics...the older 1.2 L engine is quite responsive and stable on highways . You will definitely feel confident and safe in driving this car when compared to swift or i20 .
Jaffar Sharif both are very good performance vehicles...but on paper vento is a bit more powerful...although the GT TDI variants produce the same torque (250Nm)
It is one of the major downside of this brand!! I usually have to spend 12000/- rupees on the annual service...otherwise it’s a brilliant vehicle with impeccable performance and features !!!
Sorry !! But I have no any exact ideas for this particular problem but most probably it might be due to some fault in the wiring system of your steering mounted controls. Ask your nearest dealership or visit them after lockdown. I hope it will help
I think the right price for the 2013 variant will be somewhere between ₹2,80,000 to ₹3,00,000 but if you really want it and the car is well maintained then I think you can go for it !! Best wishes from my side 😊
vishnu vishu the least I can assure you that the car is not under powered at all!!!! It is perfectly stable on highways and easy to be driven in city as you get used to its clutch. ( although the clutch and throttle response of the new polo is better ) The only thing that matters is a little bit of turbo-lag lower down the RPM range !!
Jijo Jose thanks a lot sir ....it was my first video from this channel . I accept that I forgot some features that were important to be mentioned . I really appreciate your advice and will be looking forward to improve my skills while making videos .
