im from manchester and we goto st ives and penzance about 5 times a year, but we may try polperro, looks a bit less touristy than st ives, we are moving to st ive next year for good, we love it, Dan & Annette
we spend every year at Crumplehorn Cottages, Polperro is timeless beauty and as the quote is said in 'Sleepless in Seattle' just 'magic' so lovely, so beautiful, soooooooo magical we would'nt go anywhere else it is so special. We live in Gainsborough and its a good 5/6 hours down, but hell - its well worth the drive
My cousin lives there her mother my first cousin lived there I spent many holidays with her in Polperro last time was 33 years ago, my son took his first steps down there when i stayed with my Aunt and Uncle who originally owned the land etc 1966 love the people too
love polperro me my girlfriend there noo loads of locals i even get local discount in the shops the best pub is the 3 pilchards and best cafe is the coach house tea rooms worth a viset
