Clinical Features:
20 years old married female patient came with the history of:
- Subfertility
- Irregular scanty menstruation
- Obesity
- Hirsutism
Ultrasound Findings:
- Bilateral enlarged ovaries
- Multiple tiny cystic follicles, more than 8, at peripheral parts of both ovaries forming 'Pearl-String appearance'

the volume of ovary on one side is 8 cc , other side is 14 cc , whats your criteria of enlargement , what are the best possible date of mc when this scan is done or it can be performed any given day of mc ?

Hi. My scan report yesterday. The impression from the ultrasound scan said "Polycystic Ovaries", whereas my previous reports said "Bilateral Polycystic Ovaries". Is there any difference between the two? Pls reply as I my doctor didn't explain me properly. Old report said ovaries are bulky in size however new report says they are normal in size.

Can you please explain the difference between PCOD and PCOS because I have PCOD and right now I’m 21 years old. I found this when I am 18 years old. Like I tell you that I have PCOD but I don’t have all symptoms that actually doctors told me . I have regular and normal periods but painful. I don’t have all type of symptoms that actually a PCOD or PCOS patients have. So, I’m just trying to figure if actually I have PCOD or PCOS.
