Polygamy is wrong and is not the plan YHVH God had for the family. The religion of islam has a different god and many negative/harmful practices are allowed by this different deity.

The black rock is adored & kissed and believed to hold the power to remove sins - an attribute of YHVH God alone - which is the very definition of an idol, crediting an inanimate object with divine powers. Bible 101 Before Paul encountered Jesus he was a well educated jew who studied under the most high ranking Jewish Rabbi s. He persecuted the early church and was as anti- Christian as you can get. This is why it is so remarkable that Paul utterly left his early occupation and became a Christian. Why don't folks simply Google such basic questions? Google: "did Paul persecute the early church?".... Enter the modern world use Google for kindergarten level questions.

You asked, Is their any credibility to the idea that Paul was not sincere regarding his conversion and/or that he was a Roman spy? Since Paul warned believers in his letter to Galatia not to believe any new doctrines other than what the 1st century church taught and since most historians believe he was arrested and under house arrest by Rome and later beheaded by Rome, those claims seem wildly stupid. I believe crazy stuff regarding Paul comes from the even nuttier idea that what Paul taught was not in harmony with Jesus' teachings. Scholars don't believe this nutty idea but we hear it from goofy cult folks all the time. I believe it stems from them not really understanding OT covenant law and what exactly the word " fullfill" means. They often simply don't understand what a fullfilled contract means. I have multiple times had to explain this bible 101 concept to them. They utterly fail to understand that a fullfilled contract is nullified, not because it was changed or abolished but simply because it was fullfilled.
Considering both sides of this debate are using journals of outdated plariarised myths as their evidence for the truth of their positions, I would suggest both men are actually straw men.
