The Polygon Helios A9X bike (RRP AUD$8,999, in Australia in August 2023) is available via Bikes Online. Delivered to you door, the box includes consider packaging and all you need to put it together with a minimum of fuss.
The first ride video (part 1 of what will be an ongoing series of reviews) came first... but before doing that I had to get the bike out of the box and set to my measurements. Here is my overview of what's inside the delivery.

Great colourway 👍 I’ve been super impressed with my polygon MTB. Probably 25% cheaper than “brand” names with similar spec. And yes, really well packaged. Super easy to assemble, and some tools included that I already had, but decent enough to give away to a mate who was just starting off putting a tool kit together. Win win

Looks like really well thought out packaging, mostly recyclable cardboard, minimal single use plastics and those look like velcro straps which are always useful.

This seems like a really lovely build out of the box, in terms of the user-friendly nature of the pieces already put together. The little thing like the seatpost wedge cover already being on the post isn't something that I see very often but something that soo many people would miss. Same with the wedge itself being taped into place. Smart stuff from Bike Online. Great video.

No relation. Yes: damn impressive under pressure. What a great World Cup, huh? As for the poor, suffering big chainring… I was gentle. I didn’t try to get the teeth to eat the table.
