You are most welcome, Miss Maggie!! I am glad I did it then. I am pretty sure this method is out there, but I am glad I did it so I could let you all see the options there are. I think that was what surprised me so much about the videos I have seen on image transfer. Each addresses only one type of transfer. I thought this would be nice to let people know there are options to doing this Transfer technique...I hope you are doing well, and sending you my hugs!! :)

Thank you for this informative tutorial. I KNEW there was a reason I bought a heat gun! I have always used the water method, so I’m excited!

Thank you for sharing this, it’s very helpful❣️ I have tried the water method with limited success. I was surprised you could use acetone on polymer clay because I thought the clay would break down like it does with alcohol. So that was surprising!! To me it looked like the heat gun worked the best. I’ll have to try this again. Thanks again for sharing, your videos are always so informative, I appreciate it 💙🤍💜

You are most welcome!! And yeah, the nail polish remover works, I would just say to make sure you have 100% acetone to work with. And the heat gun?....yeah, for me it is the fastest method. Of course the draw back there is it bakes the clay as you use your heat gun. But...That one has always been my "Go to" technique because it has rarely failed me. I hope that helps. Sending you my very best with hugs! :)

Thank you for this video! Are you using regular printer paper, or is there a type of paper you find works best?

When I did this video I was using regular "very smooth" cardstock type paper. However, since then, I have found even better paper to use. Currently I use either a semi gloss or gloss paper for printing on. And if you check out my latest video on "Polymer Clay Liquid Transfer & Storage Tutorial: Transfer Technique Perfected...", I think you will love that!! When I started my transfer technique videos...I didn't realize that I was at the beginning of doing so. I was really a novice at understanding it. But now, I feel highly confident on how to do that transfer technique. And I believe you will love the last one. And yes, that paper makes a HUGE difference!! Sending my hugs!! :)

I've never seen the heat method - my next go to!! Thanks for the tute. (I too was not satisfied with the time involved in the water method but found it very successful.) Wondering how the heat method would work on a colored clay?) (or translucent)

You are most welcome, Marcia!! Bless you, lady!! Interesting...I really wanted to do a video that addressed most all the methods I knew of pertaining to the Image transfer technique and that is why I did this video. I have seen many show one method, but never putting all in one and that was part of the purpose here to give you options. And part of this is to even remind me of the options I have in creating an image transfer in polymer clay!! As to the colored clay, yep...it should work just fine. Just remember though, if you have a colored image...you might get some "interesting" affects. The translucent works too...so go have some fun!! Sending you my biggest of hugs! :)
